The Dragon Realms

This is an idea that I've had bouncing around in my head for quite a while. Currently looking for a DM/GM as a 1 to 1 RP but could be opened up to a group once the world is fleshed out a bit. Those who are familiar with the SCP universe might recognise where I got this idea. SCP-1762

Synopsis:

In ancient times, humans accidently discovered a link to another realm. A realm of magic, a realm of mysterious creatures. A realm of dragons. The ancient humans formed bonds with the newly discovered species, but none was closer than that with the dragons, who imparted great wisdoms and formed great friendships. The two species designed and built a gateway to allow for travel between the two realms, held open by the belief the two species had in each other. But over time, the concept of magic and mystical creatures began to fade from human conciousness, and likewise the gateway began to fade, degrading slowly from a once grand archway into a simple large box. Knowledge of the ancient gate was forgotten, and for centuries the box passes from person to person, with very few aware of what it is. To a non believer, its just a non descript box with an unusual ability to withstand damage. To a believer, it can open a doorway to world of endless possibilities, and endless dangers.

An elderly gentleman has passed away and his remaining belongings in a storage garage are to be sold off. The roller door opens, revealing a mass of assorted items, artifacts and momentos, and amongst it all, a non descript empty box....


I don't exactly have a specific plot in mind, but the dragon realms is an open book for adventure. I'm currently looking for a capable DM willing to help plan out the world, and then play it.
