Arion

Hello there, and welcome to my humble thread.

Before we get into the thick of it, there are a few things any potential partners should understand.  These are fairly standard fare, but indulge me if you will...

First: Literacy.  I'm not a grammar nazi.  I'm not going to lose my shit if there's a few typos- hell, my fingers don't know what they're doing half the time, so I'm not going to hold anyone to a higher standard than I hold myself.  And if English is a second language, I'm definitely going to take that into consideration.  But I will quickly lose interest if there are numerous and on-going mistakes, mis-spellings, and mis-uses.  If you use shorthand- r instead of are, u instead of you, and so on, I will not even consider continuing.  Note that this does not apply with the same rigidity to ooc discussion; when we're private-messaging each other, bouncing ideas back and forth, and so on, it's more of a non-issue for me.

Second: Posting.  I usually play in the forums.  When writing these roleplays, for me at the least, I'm not just doing it for my own entertainment.  Its also for the enjoyment of those who might read it as well.  I am not totally opposed to playing through private messages (though I really prefer not to) or over instant-messaging services (such as Yahoo Messenger or Discord).  However, the games I have tried over IM have all been a little weird and did not continue for very long, so I'll take a little persuading on the idea.

Third: Post Length.  Make your posts as long as the need to be.  If a forty-paragraph dissertation is necessary, write it.  If three lines are what is needed, write it.  That being said, it needs to fit, to jive, with what's going on.  If all you write is one-liners, I'm going to lose interest.  Short posts may be unavoidable, especially during drawn-out conversations, but there's a limit that needs to be observed.

Fourth: Post Frequency.  In a perfect world, if I had my druthers, at least one post a day would be ideal... maybe even more than one a day.  But real life always takes precedence over fun and games, and if you can't post that often I totally understand and will not hold it against you in the least.  However, it's something I'll want to discuss beforehand, so I can know what to expect.  Don't get the both of us super-excited about a roleplay and then fall off the face of the earth after the first post without a message- which can be as short as "something has come up, will be unavailable" or as detailed as you want- to let me know.  If its something that is so sudden and urgent that you can't do that, then please let me know at your earliest convenience so I don't worry.  My mind tends to assume the worst has happened when I'm hit with total silence.

Fifth: Subject Matter.  In my signature is a link to my F-List, which should let you know everything I'm in to and willing to explore.  For me, Elliquiy is not just a site where I can have fun roleplaying with new and interesting people.  It's also a place to explore different stories and themes, from the heroic to the horrifying, from romance to degradation.  So long as we observe the site rules (no under-16 characters in sexual situations, for example) I'm open to pretty much anything and everything, though again a look at the F-List will clarify this further.  The only things that are hard, inflexible nos, are in the "no" category.  Don't ask.

Sixth: Realism.  Now, I know that with some roleplays, realism kind of goes out the window.  If there's elves and dragons and vampires and cyborgs and the like involved, you have to stretch it to the breaking point.  What I mean by realism is that I want roleplays to proceed in an organic way- even when we're dealing with unreal characters and subjects, the actions of those characters and the events that happen to them must feel that they are plausible and could actually happen.  Make it believable within the parameters of the story being told.

Seventh: Smut vs. Story.  I can write it all, and am happy to do so.  But not all stories need smut (though a little sexy-time never hurt anything), and not all smut needs a detailed story (though I will not write something that is nothing but smut- there's only so many words for a penis or vagina before your writing starts sounding like something a horny teenager wrote to impress their friends).  And when it comes down to it, I would rather write something that is all story and no sex than the opposite.

Eighth: Partners and Characters.  I write as males almost exclusively, not including minor characters pertinent to the story at hand of either gender, and almost always prefer my writing partners to be female and playing female characters (again, minor characters notwithstanding).  In group games, I have no issue with interacting with male writers and their characters, but for solos, women only, please.  I will say that this is not a "hard" no- if you think you've got a mind-blowingly-good reason, I'm willing to listen and change my stance.  Also, I do not play submissive males unless that submission comes from a realistic place- my male being the employee of your female, for example.  For my partner's female characters, those who are submissive or on the same level- equals- as mine are fine and I find both enjoyable.

Ninth: Input.  I'm not the kind of person who holds my ideas and cravings as sacred and immutable.  I want to hear your input on them.  I want you to have your own ideas and thoughts on how things should go and be handled.  Don't make me do all the work- you need to be as invested in the roleplay as I am.  It's a collaborative effort, and if I just wanted to play by myself I'd go back to writing stories.

Tenth: Replies.  I would prefer you pm me with your replies instead of posting to this thread, but I won't hold it against you if you do post here... :)

I think that's about it as far as those things go.  If you're still with me, let's see just how deep the rabbit-hole goes...

Interests:

I'll get fandoms out of the way first.  I tend not to play them, since a lot of the ones that people are interested in don't appeal to me, and the one's I'm interested in generally don't appeal to others.  I'm no Whovian, for example.  This doubles for comic-book-characters and pairings.  I really didn't have any comics as a kid, so while I enjoy the movies and tv shows to some degree, I know next to nothing about each character and the universes they inhabit.  However, as with many things, I'm not totally opposed.  If you're willing to explain and help out, at length if need be, I won't rule such a pairing out.

Settings.  Most settings are fine with me, from modern to futuristic to historical to fantasy to anything in between and beyond.  I can work with them all, though if we go with a historical setting you'll have to understand that while I do enjoy history, I'm not a scholar by any means.  If you're part of the SCA and expect for your writing partner to know the minute differences between a 15th century vambrace and a 16th century one, I'm going to disappoint you.  The best we can hope for is "fantistorical"- a historical setting that is not totally accurate, with anachronisms, perhaps even large ones, here and there.

A note on modern settings: When working with a modern setting, I have a fictional city that I like to use, a copy of which can be provided.  I can go with real-world cities, but I strongly prefer the fictional one.

Genres.  Again, I can work with almost anything and have an interest in almost everything.  Horror, survival, action, romance, etc etc.

Things I particularly enjoy:

Psychology.  Let me see into your character's head.  Let me know what they're thinking and the reason for their actions.  I try to do this with the characters I write, and it's a major turn-on for me to see the same from my partner.  This is even more important, in fact almost required, if our story takes place over a period of time during which one or both of our characters changes- the reasons for the change, the emotional reactions to those changes, how the characters deal with and come to terms with them- its vital.

Bad Guys/ Anti-Heroes.  I love playing the bad guy, and love it even more when I get to play an anti-hero.  Villains, and their reasons for being such, fascinate me.  The person with the noble goal and the horrifying way of going about accomplishing it is another turn on.  The fallen hero who now resorts to brutal means to bring the villains to justice, yeah, I dig it.  And this doesn't just have to be for my character either- I', willing to play the decent guy next to the bad girl as well.

The Ultimate Sacrifice.  If I have a fascination with villains, the concept of the Ultimate Sacrifice is beyond that by an order of magnitude.  In some roleplays, I want my character to die at the end, giving his own life to save the day.  This is generally open to discussion, but in at least one of my cravings below, it is not.

Heh, having said that piece about fandoms, looking over my ideas below, a lot of them are... well... fandoms, of a sort.  Go figure, eh?

Okay, particular Cravings, Ideas, and Desires

Story-Driven

Dune
For this particular craving, I will not even entertain the idea of partnering with you unless you have at least read the first book in the series- Dune.  Don't ask.  There's too much going on within it to ever be able to explain as it needs to be.  I prefer the you have read the entire series (and by this I mean the six books written by Frank Herbert), especially up to "God Emperor of Dune", but the first one alone would be sufficient for a starting point.

Dark Souls
I'm a huge, huge, huge fan of the Souls games, and have been wanting to try a roleplay in the universe out for a long long time.  If you've been following along, this is the game in which my character has to die at the end, and that is not up for discussion.  The trouble is that, given the ideas and lore behind the setting, this would be a very difficult one to pull off- it would require a lot of visual storytelling and less character interaction than with others.  My character slowly losing his humanity as he hollows would be a focal point.  While for this roleplay I don't require that you have played the games, there will be a lot of explaining involved and some required-watching youtube videos... and I don't mean just one or two.  For this roleplay an unusual level of commitment will be required.

Rifts: The War on Tolkeen

No one is sure what started it.
Military forces mustered, crossed borders...
A war that could only be described as "apocalyptic"...
Billions died in an instant...
The resulting psychic backlash from that unimaginable kind of destruction... awoke something...

Ley-lines, towering walls of magical energy, exploded into existence, circling the planet.
Tectonic plates shifted and moved, causing widespread earthquakes and tidal waves, and uncontainable fires consumed countless millions of square miles of forest and urban centers.
And then, the Rifts opened... and from them they came- monsters, aliens, demons, and other less definable things.

The world was plunged into centuries of darkness as mankind struggled to survive in a world now utterly alien from that which they had known.

But in time, the Rifts lessened, few remaining open for more than a short while.  Mankind climbed from the ashes, building civilizations anew.  In the remains of North America, the Coalition States were formed, bastions of humanity against the horrors of the world.  Using and engineering advanced technologies from the time Before, they carved out large "safe" zones, where mankind could live without worrying about the darkness at the fringes of the firelight.

But the Coalition was founded on older, darker principles.  The non-human, the users of magic- all must be eradicated, without hesitation.  Those with psychic powers were acceptable, so long as they underwent near-constant watching and accepted their place as second-class citizens.  The only non-humans allowed to live under CS law were the dog-boys, a genetically engineered mutant strain of half-human, half-canine creatures that served the Coalition Military as loyal hounds.

For a time, the Coalition, under the iron-fisted rulership of Emperor Proseck, was content to merely expand their holdings, build their armed forces, and make occasional forays into the wilderness beyond to exterminate threatening settlements of what were considered "undesirable" neighbors.  But in time, they turned their gaze to the free state of Tolkeen.

Tolkeen was everything that the Coalition was not.  They accepted all comers with open arms.  They were a people of learning and philosophy, governed by the dragon Lazlo.  They did not fear the users of magic, or the alien, or the monster, but welcomed them so long as they were peaceful.  They defended their borders, but were not expansionist, and sought peaceful relationship with their neighbors.

In short, a looming threat against the sanctity of the Coalition.  And it was not log before Proseck decided... better to strike first.  The States began a massive overhaul of their warmachine, devising new and improved weapons and machines with which to strike at their peaceful neighbor.  In due time, Tolkeen learned of the build-up and that they were the intended target, and began to ready themselves accordingly.

It is the eve of war.
The board is set.
The pieces are moving...

So, obviously, this would be a game/story set in the universe of the Rifts roleplaying game, by Palladium Books.  While the actual rules mechanics for it are garbage, the setting itself is possibly the most detailed and intricate one in existence, with more than forty "World Books" dedicated to Rifts Earth alone, in addition to numerous "Dimensional Books" and other supplements.

The story would begin shortly before the opening shots of the War on Tolkeen... which the Coalition States ultimately wins (there are a full seven books dedicated to this massive conflict alone).  Knowledge of the setting and the intricacies of the war are not mandatory, I'm willing to explain and guide where necessary.  I would also not insist on following the books to the letter as far as how the war goes, save that in the end Tolkeen falls and is eradicated.

For this, I'm looking to play a Coalition special forces operative who has been tasked with infiltrating the Tolkeen resistance, either as a deserter from the CS military or a mercenary who is either selling his gun or even aiding the resistance because he believes in the cause.  Your character would be a member of the resistance that he eventually comes to see as a person and not just an enemy to be killed on sight- in time, a romance develops between them, and at some point he confesses his true identity to her.  He becomes a true enemy of the Coalition and everything it stands for. As for her species/appearance/"class" (meaning, techno-warrioress, spellcaster, psychic, etc), well, that's totally up to you with a few soft limits.  Rifts Earth has been called an "everything-and-the-kitchen-sink" setting, since the Rifts in space, time, and dimensions that randomly open can allow absolutely anything to exist within the setting.  I have played with a party that consisted of a bibliophile wizard, a cybernetically-enhanced elf from another dimension, a guy in Glitter Boy power armor, an old-west style gunslinger with chrome-plated laser pistols, and a near-human alien psychic-vampire.  While I would prefer to avoid characters that are "too fuzzy" I'm open to discussion.

However, to make things perfectly clear, in case there is any doubt at all in your mind- the Coalition States are NAZIS.  Their entire human-supremacy ideology and outright hatred for magic users and unregistered psychics is very heavily based on Nazi Germany.  Their symbol, a "death's head" is even similar to one used by a German division during WW2, 3rd SS Panzer Division "Totenkopf" (literally: death's head).  In this, I would be playing a character that is, when we boil it down, extremely racist, at least in the beginning.  To be a potential partner with me in this, you'll have to be okay with that being a factor in the story.  To be clear once more, I'm not a racist- I find it to be utterly reprehensible- but am willing to portray one for the sake of a story, and this is one in which it is unavoidable.

Crime and the Occult
This idea has been posted elsewhere, but I'll go over the basics of it again here.  Our characters are detectives investigating a string of kidnappings going back over a hundred years.  There have never been any suspects, and the women, who are always released exactly ten years after they were taken, refuse to help the police in any way in catching the man, or men, responsible- they're all deeply in love with them.  They're also much, much smarter when they return, going on to become doctors, scientists, and the like, and they all make ground-breaking discoveries in their respective fields.

This is a long-term game, and I can see it going for years even.  It would feature not only real science and the such, but also pseudo-science, the occult, and perhaps even the supernatural.  In tone, I imagine it having the same feel as the first season of HBO's True Detective.

50/50 Mix

Necromunda

For ten thousand years, the planet Necromunda has been nothing more than one giant mining site.  There are no mountains anymore, the ranges having been long since reduced to rubble for the minerals they contained.  The oceans and seas are little more than pools of toxic sludge.  The land is barren, with no vegetation.  The air, unbreathable and poisoned.  Everything of value has been taken, strip-mined out.  The only way to survive there is to live in one of the gargantuan cities called "Hives", single structures that are ten miles high or more and miles wide at the base, containing billions upon billions of lives.  At the top of the spires live the elite, the noble families that rule with iron fists.  But in the depths, down in the nightmare sprawl called the "Underhive", the gangs are the true power.  They fight endlessly over turf, battling for control in places that have not seen sunlight in thousands of years.  Life is short and brutal in these lightless depths...

This is a roleplay idea based upon the game Necromunda from Games Workshop, which has just been re-released after many years.  For this particular game, we would take the parts of not only an individual character each but also of a whole gang in certain areas- such as when those gangs clash.  For this, I was thinking that the gangs of house Escher (an all-female group) and house Goliath (massive drug-enhanced brutes) would be most appropriate, as they are the ones prominently featured in the re-release.

A possible story, though by no means the only one, is that your character is captured by my gang during a particularly brutal battle.  I'm seeing a strong possibility for non-con here, as your character is used and abused by the Goliaths.  There's also the chance for less harsh treatment, perhaps as one of the Goliaths comes to care for her.  At some point she could escape, with help or without, and I see a climax at the end with another battle that wipes out one gang or the other.

Mordheim, City of the Damned

The twin-tailed comet was a symbol of the god-king Sigmar, and its appearance in the sky was interpreted as a sign of his return.  In the city of Mordheim, thousands gathered to witness its arrival.  But instea dof Sigmar's return, all it heralded was death and destruction, as it struck with enough force to leave the city in ruins, most of the population dead or dying.  Worse yet, the comet had been made of Wyrdstone, and shards of it now littered the settlement, the air filled with wyrd-dust.  It corrupted and mutated those who were unfortunate enough to be left alive.

But Wyrdtone is valuable, much sought-after by wizards for their experiments, by the undead, and by less... savory things.  And so in time warbands were hired to travel to the ruins and explore in search of the shards that they could then sell back to their employers.  As the material grew more and more scarce, the warbands would clash more and more often, fighting for scraps of the stone.

And deep in the ruins, at the center of the crater, something malignant waited... and watched...

So, this would be a game set (spoiler alert!) in the Mordheim: City of the Damned setting from Games Workshop.  As with the Necromunda idea above, we would each take the part of not only a specific character, but also a "warband" that they belong to.  The available factions are:

Reiklanders- Human warband known for its skill with ranged weaponry.
Middenheimers- Human warband known for great strength.
Marienburgers- Human warband hailing from a wealthy city, able to afford the very best of arms and equipment.
Undead- A minor vampire sent from Sylvania to recover wyrdstone for her dark masters.
Sisters of Sigmar- All-female human warband hailing from Mordheim.  Their stronghold was the only structure left untouched by the comet's destruction.
Chaos Cultists- A coven devoted to the dark forces of Chaos, who may have been behind the comet itself.
Skaven- Half man, half rat creatures that most of humanity refuse to believe even exist, who inhabit a sprawling underground "Under-Empire" that spans the continent.
Witch-Hunters- Humans devoted to Sigmar, who seek to purge the city of its wickedness and corruption.
Dwarf Treasure Hunters- Dwarves who have come to the city seeking treasure and other loot.
Beastmen- Either men and women who have been mutated by chaos, or true-bred half man, half goat creatures who inhabit the darkest recesses of the continent's vast forests.

Would prefer not to pair against one of the inhuman warbands with the exception of undead (humanxvampire pairing is always sexy).  As far as game direction and content, I'm open to pretty much anything, though the darkness of the setting (the world of Warhammer is pretty fuckin' brutal) lends itself to darker themes.  Which character/warband I play is open to discussion, as aside from the dwarves I can see lots of good story material for all of them.

Smut-Driven

The Kitten  TAKEN
Your character is a young woman, 18 or so though I would no be totally opposed with her being as young as 16, who has the fetish-fantasy of being a kitten- wearing cat-ears, a butt-plug with a cat tail, a collar, and so on.  This is her deepest fantasy.  She meets a couple, man and wife or boyfriend/girlfriend, in their thirties, and there is a mutual attraction between the three of them.  They're similar to her, but their fantasy has been to "own" a kitten.  They take her in and they both fulfill their desires.  They collar her, make her go naked with the ears and tail (while they don't have company that would be offended), have a over-sized cat bed for her to sleep in, provide her food and water or milk in cat bowls- the whole nine yards.  When they use her sexually she meows and purrs for them.  Sometimes, they let others with the fetish use her.

This one is a bit on the extreme side of the fetish but not unrealistic.  I can also seeing it being a small group game, with one player for each character- kitten, man, and woman.  It would be smut-driven but not without story; I would want to see inside the kitten's head as she finds her deepest desire fulfilled but also has to deal with slowly being pulled away from family and friends as she become more and more a real "pet".

Welcome to the Pack
This is an idea that Assionpay has kindly allowed me to steal.  I'm altering it slightly, but all credit goes to her.

In this roleplay, your character would be a young woman (mid-twenties) who has moved to a small town to start a new life away from the big city and all the problems she had there.  She finds work at the local bar, and in time finds that while the townsfolk are an insular lot that don't great her with open arms.  That is, except for one man- he's rough around the edges, a little aggressive at times, but nothing she can't handle.  She has a fling with him, a short romance, before he leads her out into the woods one night and reveals his secret...  he's the alpha-wolf of a pack of werewolves that live in the town and nearby forest, and he's going to bring her into the pack.  Not as a werewolf, of course, because the only way to become one is to be born one, but as a breeder.  Female werewolves are sterile, so the only way to procreate is with human women.

And she's not going to just be his breeder either.  No, a good alpha shares everything with the pack, and she's now on the menu.

This idea has the potential for a lot of things.  Group sex/gangbang, rough sex, non-con as she resists (at least at first), dub-con, even a weird kind of romance as she accepts her place in the pack and comes to care for them, rough as they can get.  And while it also implies pregnancy, that's something I'd like to either avoid or handle carefully- her discovering she's pregnant is fine, as is playing a short ways into the pregnancy, but after a point I would want to skip forward in time until after the birth and nursing.

Fantasycore
Not one idea but a series of short ideas I had when I first joined the site.  None of them are long term, and are best suited as short one-off ideas that can be tied together into a larger narrative.  All involve your character getting herself into, and out of, a variety of sexual situations in a fantasy setting- meaning elves, orcs, dragons, faeries, and the like.  If interested, a full list can be provided.

Other ideas:  None at the moment, though the above lists will be updated as they hit me.

Your ideas:  Let me have them.  I love hearing the ideas of other people, or their ideas on mine.  Don't see something you like above but have something you've been wanting to try out?  I want to hear from you!  Let's talk and see what pops up.
