Here’s an idea I’ve really wanted to develop for some time. Although I originally had a male partner in mind, I think it really needs a female touch. There are a number of possibilities, and it doesn’t necessarily need to be full on lesbian story, although that’s certainly an option. I’ll be playing the girl from the woods (you’ll understand as you read on) and I’m looking for a literate and imaginative lady to create a role to support and develop this story.

A woman was driving on a winding but familiar backroad in the English countryside at night, though this could easily be moved to any country or the city backstreets. (It’s a possible role for you and so I’ll not elaborate on her background or appearance.) She was happily singing along to the radio and driving just a little too fast despite the heavy rain.

The tall trees flash by like grey ghosts on both sides and the autumn leaves that gathered on the overgrown verges danced at her passing. The reception of the radio began to fail and in the angry static hiss she fumbled to find an alternative station. It took no more than a second or two, but when she looked up a naked and bedraggled girl stood shivering in the darkness a short distance ahead. The woman stamped on the break and the tyres slithered and screamed in protest, but the girl stood rooted, seemingly oblivious to the danger she was in. And as the car snaked uncontrollably the girl simply watched in ignorant fascination.

The driver screamed and closed her eyes and there was a sickening thump and then the nothing but the clack-clack of the wipers and silent ticking of the engine that idled in the night. The woman sat gripping the wheel with white knuckles and bleached complexion, for a moment paralysed.

“Fuck!” the driver swore, slowly regaining her senses, and leaped out of the car. She reached for her phone (No reception?) and looked guiltily over her shoulder, but there no witnesses. She rushed to the front of the car to find the girl lying on the road, ghastly white and bloodied and yet beautiful in the harsh headlights.

The woman looked up, sensing something or someone watching her, but there was no one save the mocking hoot of an owl from the dense woodland. The woman reached out to search for a pulse and to her relief it was regular and strong. She examined the girls bruised and battered body as she lay unmoving, but saw no outward signs of serious injury. Indeed, the car must have been barely moving when it had struck her. She reached out and touched her arm; it was cold and impossibly smooth, perhaps unconsciously let her fingers stray to a firm pert breast.

(Now here is where the story can go in different directions and remember these are simply possibilities)

1. The girl wakes and begs the woman to help her. There is the sound of movement in the woods and lights flashing through the trees, perhaps barking dogs. The woman helps her into the car and drives on.

2. The girl is taken to hospital and when she wakes appears to be suffering from amnesia. A female police detective takes an interest and tries to get to the bottom of things. The girl has no name and no home and as her injuries are relatively minor and the hospital wants to discharge her, the detective takes her home with her hoping that her memory may return.

It is at this point we discover that the injuries are not consistent with the accident, instead it appears that she was beaten and possibly raped. Some of the wounds are fully healed suggesting systematic assaults over a period of years.

When the police search for her in missing persons they find an old photograph in a forgotten, but open case file that looks exactly like her, but the case is over forty years old. Could it really be her or possibly the missing woman’s daughter? The resemlance is striking.

Of course, nothing is set in stone and this is just the beginning, the fun is in revealing the girls past and moving forward with the characters. One idea I had was that the people she’d escaped from continued to pursue her and both women find themselves in a medieval type manor with lords, ladies and servants – but how does the girl fit into the hierarchy?

•   I wondered whether the whole Manor could be an elaborate playground (and website) for the rich and famous.
•   Perhaps she was indeed a time traveller or swept into a parallel world

If this stirs up some ideas then please PM me (or reply on this thread) to discuss how we might mould this into a RP
