Greetings and salutations! This plot is based on a roleplay/plot that another member and I came up with. Sadly, due to time constraints, we were unable to get far into the story. I would love to bring the story back, however.

First, let me start off by saying that while this story takes place in the Victorian era, I've taken a several 'creative liberties'. I'm not too well-versed in historical, but I enjoy the aesthetic of the era. I've also done research of the era. However, I would say this story is loosely based in the Victorian era. For all my history buffs out there, I apologize ahead of time. ;;

The story revolves around a wealthy young lord and 'his' personal nurse. ​

Everyone has a secret
The young lord is not a lord at all, but a woman in disguise, playing the role that her father needed her in after the passing of her older brother. She worked for her father's trading company, voyaging across the ocean at every chance in an effort to avoid from her father. However, all good things must come to an end. She returns home to find her father demanding that she begin searching for a wife. On top of that, he has hired a mysterious woman to act as her personal nurse. Her health has never been the best and she is prone to getting sick quite easily, however why now did she need someone monitoring her health?

What's more, she is a bit...odd.

On several occasions she has been seen gardening at the stroke of midnight. She can be found conversing with the plants in the garden and the animals on the grounds, the animals strangely drawn to her. She gets nervous when discussing her schooling. The only books she enjoys books with pictures. Further...she seems to disappear randomly in the late hours of the night. What is her past? Why did her father choose this girl?

What is she hiding? Furthermore, can YC keep their secret?

So, my character is secretly a witch. Before meeting YC, she used her magic to heal the sick using a mixture of both potions and magic. However, magic is forbidden in this land. Hearing word of a powerful witch, YC's father, who has already been conducting shady business dealings, decides to cut her a deal: Not only is her secret safe with him, but he will pay her handsomely for her cooperation. Coming from a low class family and desperate for money, she begrudgingly agrees despite her moral compass.

While I prefer this to be a f/f story, I am also open to it being a m/f. Perhaps he has his own secret -- Whatever it is, it's up to you! The story will follow the two as they get to know each other and fall in love, secrets coming to light as time goes on. I'd like to add more to the story, some kind of mystery or drama -- If you have any ideas, please let me know!
