The gas lamps of the central city glowed dimly and the sky carts trailed along the sky her breath came out in wispy puffs in the early morning air. she turned the corner anda building came into view even in the dim light the bronze spires gleamed she couldn't help the disgruntled snort that escaped past her lips when she thought of all the pompous officials that worked there with there tailored jackets and shiny shoes. She adjusted her tattered coveralls which she had tied around her waist as well as the brass and copper goggles atop her head she walked to the skycart station and waited.
