So I clicked the, 'show new replies to your posts' link, and a 'loading' banner popped up, and than went away when the page completed loading.  The banner was the same as the 'CMS' one that pops up occasionally.  I've never seen it before, and was just wondering if this was a new feature of some sort.

It just means SMF is loading something via AJAX, it's been around for a few years now, but it typically comes and goes so fast that most people don't notice.

Thank you for the answer Veks!  I wasn't really sure what it was, and it didn't really bother me either way; but it got me curious.  And now my curiosity is sated. XD
