That's on October 1, that is.

The North American Vegetarian Society is accepting pledges from non-vegetarians to abstain from meat for the, for one week, or for the entire month of October and enter a draw for cash prizes. Not sure if that is valid everywhere in the world (skimming the TOS suggests it is, but you can't know), though there are more benefits to taking part than just a chance to win $$$.
