"𝔽𝕠𝕣 𝕋𝕣𝕦𝕥𝕙, 𝕁𝕦𝕤𝕥𝕚𝕔𝕖 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝕒 𝔹𝕖𝕥𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝕋𝕠𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕣𝕠𝕨"

What would you get if you combined Harry Potter, The Boys and Saved By the Bell? Let's find out, shall we? DCendents is a sandbox game, exploring the decedents of the heroes and villains we all know and love. Set in a university for the training of exceptional students, our story revolves around these new characters discovering their place in the world. Upon turning eighteen, all powered individuals enroll in Wayne Academy, where there are guided by experienced staff to craft their trade and learn responsibility. However, along with former heroes, supposed "ex-villains" also bring their experience to the table, so what exactly are the students learning? What story will you tell in this new world!?

Our Story

After a long career of crime fighting as Batman, Bruce Wayne sought a way to continue his legacy and ensure world remained safe. Bruce went to work, designing a system to both mold the youth of today into better heroes, but to also help steer would be villains onto the correct path. Founding the Wayne Academy, he hoped to do both. Upon turning 18, students are enrolled and taught to make the best of their abilities. Students usually come to the school in one of three ways: They are a legacy, enrolled because their parents were well known supers. Recurited because they have shown extraordinary powers or abilities, or sent to the school in lue of punishment by the law in an effort to reform.Due to this aspect, and in the spirit of offering a second chance, various ex villains teach at the Academy.

GM characters that represent threats or events, are just tools for GMs. They operate outside of normal character limits and rules.

History:

Personality:

Powers: This is for super powers. Stuff like being faster than a speeding bullet, stronger than a locomotive, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound and so forth.

Special Qualities: For indelible qualities about your character. A Green Lantern's willpower is an example, as is Batman's singular dedication to crime-fighting, or John Constantine being an insufferable wanker.

Special Equipment: Stuff like the Batman's utility belt or Wonder Woman's lasso of truth - a character can be safely assumed to own a conventional smart phone or lap top without much fuss. Also probably stuff like mega-bucks if your character is wealthy (it could also go under Powers; your call, really).

BlueOrange

As discussed, I’m interested in picking up Catwoman as a gym teacher, and in doing some assistant GM work (if my injured wrist will let me).

Please reserve Charlize Theron as a faceclaim for me, I'll get a sheet done properly in the next few days (holiday weekend here, lots of social obligations).

#2
Name: Annabelle Cartwright
Codename: Pinnacle
Age: 19
Species: Human
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Lesbian
Enrollment: Recruit
Appearance:Casual Gym Outfit Costume

Faceclaim:

History: Annabelle was always a sickly child growing up, constantly stuck in bed for one reason or another. Her parents, her father an accomplished scientist and her mother a renowned doctor, put all their resources and experience into finding a solution. The trials all failed, every attempt at a solution didn't make it past the animal testing phase. On a rare day where she was feeling well enough to be out of bed, spent the day with her parents as they worked. She tripped and was accidentally injected with their latest attempt, her parents fearing the worst from the untested serum.

Due to luck or some unique aspect of her body chemistry, Annabelle not only suffered no ill effects but made a complete turn around. Once she was too sickly to walk without help most days and now she was just like any one else, until she hit puberty. The serum had an unintended side effect, it made enhanced her mental and physical abilities to the peak of human ability. She suddenly found she was on par with an Olympic athlete in terms of her physical abilities, maybe even better. Her mental abilities were improved as well, she's not a super-genius like some heroes but she's definitely smarter then most expect. It wasn't long before she got recruited to the Wayne Academy.

Personality: Annabelle enjoys life, especially after spending most of her childhood being bedridden. Most people would assume that such a physically perfect girl would be a snob or queen bee, constantly looking down on everyone she considered a lesser. The truth is that after being the object of isolation and mockery due to her condition as a child, Annabelle is generous and protective.

She is quick to put herself between people in trouble and the cause of that trouble. She prefers a more civil approach to things, hoping to resolve a problem without violence but she isn't afraid to let her fist to the talking when it's needed.

Powers: Peak human abilities allowing her to compete on the same level as top-tier athletes and martial artist. This also means that she has sharper senses then the average person.

Special Qualities: Annabelle's enhanced mental abilities give her a nearly perfect memory.

Abilities: Annabelle loves to learn new skills and test the limits of her abilities. Her enhanced memory allows her to speak and read French, Russian, Spanish, and she is working on Atlantean. Since coming to Wayne Academy, she has been learning martial arts and practices lock-picking in her free time.

Limitations/Weaknesses: Annabelle's enhanced physical abilities makes her extremely vulnerable to drugs and substances that use her enhanced metabolism against her. She also need more food then her size would suggest since her body burns calories at a much faster rate.

TheHangedOne

Alright, Kara, here's a first go at my antihero. <3

Name: Riley Roth
Codename: Masque
Age: Characters must be at least 18 years old.
Parents: Raven
Species: Quarter-demon
Gender: Non-binary
Sexual Orientation: Inscrutable
Enrollment: Legacy
Appearance: Masque wears body-concealing clothing that keeps their physical appearance difficult to discern. This often takes the form of long coats, pants, boots, and gloves; typically in darker shades. What earns them their moniker, of course, is a frightening mask. The black lenses that cover the eyeholes of the mask prevent others from seeing within, and reflect everything in front of them with a subtle wrongness that is difficult to place.
Faceclaim: n/a

History: When one is born to a hero, a great deal of weight is placed upon the child's shoulders from the get-go. So many others, with their expectations; their hopes; their dreams; their fears. Perhaps it is a quirk of their demonic heritage, but Riley has always had a sense for fear, and their earliest memories are of the exquisite range of flavors fear can have.

Riley was always a troubled youth; despite their mother's best attempts, her child's inner darkness was too deeply enmeshed into their very being. Unable to remove it, it then became a delicate balancing act of ensuring it was expressed in ways that did more good than harm.

Several incidents over the years show the trouble this youth has undergone... often balanced against the fact that their 'victims' were bullies, thugs, even a hardened criminal in one circumstance, who was left in a coma after being consumed by their own fear.

Having come of age, Riley finds themselves attending the Wayne Academy, where, one might hope, that the lurking terror will further learn to restrain themselves.

Personality: Inscrutable and mercurial. They have a unique way of perceiving and responding to the world around them, and while there is certainly a pattern--a certain orderliness to it all--outside observers often fail to identify said pattern. They can be your friend, or your nightmare, with little in-between.

Powers:
Shadow-Self: A strange twist on Raven's soul-self ability. Rather than projecting themselves outwards, Masque is capable of altering their physical body into whatever shape they want. Additionally, they can take on aberrant qualities; often to instill terror, to improvise weapons on the fly, or acquire new modes of movement (like skittering across the walls and ceilings in an alarmingly arachnid fashion).
Shadow Travel: A short range teleportation ability, this requires that Masque exploit their spiritual connection with physical darkness, moving through shadows at faster-than-light speed. It is limited by perception; but they can 'chain-jump' from shadow to shadow to cover ground quickly.
Psychic Flaying: By weaponizing the negative emotions of a target, Masque is able to inflict both psychological and physical trauma on an individual. On the physical side of things, it's well within their ability to cause old wounds to reopen in a violent, painful manner; while on the psychological side of things, it amplifies emotions. A small fear can be heightened into a full blown meltdown. An unresolved trauma can induce a psychotic break from reality. This ability requires focus, and limits Masque's ability to perform other actions (can walk, talk, etc., but could not do something that requires active focus, like picking a lock, or doing their homework).
Reign of Darkness: Le Grand Finale, the ultimate expression of Masque's control over terror. The victim is locked into a mental prison, during which they are psychically assaulted by literally every single fear they have ever experienced in their life. Wave after wave of nightmares crash against the mind, wearing it down. Unrelenting and remorseless, the terrors are revived and sent ad infinitum in a looping hell that can only be ended through supernatural (or superpowered) intervention; or by the victim being able to muster up the heroic will necessary to defeat their inner demons, and integrate their Jungian shadow into themselves. On a physical level, the victim appears to be in a coma; jailed in their own mind, a hell of their own creation.

There are a couple of requirements that are needed in order for Masque to actually activate this ability. First, it requires that "Terror-form" be active. Secondly, it exhausts Masque's reservoirs of energy, shutting them off from all other powers (but not special qualities), until they can restore themselves, through the consumption of fear.
Fear Eater: Proof that Masque's powers can be used to help, not harm. With the consent of an individual, Masque can project their will into the individual's mental landscape. There, they can dredge up fears and help an individual to conquer those fears. This ability, at least in theory, can even heal traumas; but it does require the person it is performed on to be able and willing to confront those parts of themselves that they wish to be healed from. This power can also be used to destroy psychic influences, though often in these situations, that requires Masque to intrude into someone's mind. Devouring fear deepens Masque's understanding of their powers, and in time, could lead to new weapons... or tools to help others.

Special Qualities:
Dark-sense: It is known that most people, even superheroes, carry a seed of darkness in them. Fear, anxiety, trauma, depression; or so many other things. Masque is able to taste these emotions, and identify them by the way someone tastes. While the word "taste" is Masque's choice descriptor, this does not require them to physically touch someone.
Terror-Form: Normally, Masque can process incoming emotions in a neat and orderly fashion. Some times, however, there are too many people, feeling too many things, too strongly. Once a certain critical point is reached, something snaps in them, turning them into an actual monster. Gone is their human form, replaced by an eldritch abomination that is an amalgamation of fears grotesquely stitched together; a form that makes no sense or logic, yet functions all-too-well. In Terror-Form, all of Masque's abilities are greatly heightened, "it" can influence its surroundings, causing the world around themselves to twist into a waking nightmare that they control.

Abilities:
Polyglot: Once it became clear that Riley could not function well in a school environment, Raven took it upon herself to educate their child quite well. Amid the required courses in math, science, history, etc., Raven passed on their knowledge of German, Latin, Romanian, Ancient Sumerian, and Sanskrit.

Special Equipment:
Shield Mask: Made of an unknown material, most likely otherwordly in origin, this cold mask insulates the wearer's mind from outside influences.

Limitations/Weaknesses:
*Masque primarily focuses on only a single opponent at a time, and can be swarmed/overwhelmed.
*Masque can become overloaded and lose control of their powers.
*Tends to respond instinctively/reflexively; is a poor planner as a result.
*Requires a 4,000 calorie a day diet (unless the day is particularly physically draining, in which case, you can bump that up to 5K); additionally, they must feed off of ambient negative emotions, or they develop a sort of anemic condition.
*Poor interpersonal skills; difficulty understanding positive emotions and motivations.

Ons & Offs:

Plot Seeds: None atm, but still tinkering with ideas.

#8
Name: Mayet Mayar, born Teth-Mayet
Codename:Nefiru

Age: 24
Parents Teth-Adam/Black Adam, Adrianna Tomaz/Isis
Species: Human
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Enrollment: Legacy and reformation.
Appearance:

Mayet is a slender woman who stands about 5’6” without shoes. She has a naturally tanned complexion, long straight brown hair and dark brown eyes. Generally wears comfortable casual attire.

Nefiru is a statuesque woman who stands just under 6’. Her tanned complexion has an almost bronze glow to it. Her black hair is braided, neck length, with gold caps at the end of each braid, but normally concealed beneath headdress. Almost exclusively wears ancient Egyptian royal regalia and white linen garb.

Faceclaim:

History: Mayet was born on the Rock of Eternity, and spent the first four years of her life with her mother while only moments passed on Earth.

With Isis leaving the living again, Mayet was fostered to the Mayar family in Kahndaq, Gamal and Layla. For the next twelve years her life resembled that of any child in the struggling middle class in Kahndaq.

Although interested in Archeology and History, Mayet had strong math skills and did well in sciences. At sixteen, amid many tears and hugs from her foster mother, she departed to England to complete two years of prep school, and went on to complete a four year B.Eng at the University of Nottingham–all relevant tuitions and fees paid for by strange men in dark suits from the Kahndaq Embassy.

Aware she was somehow unique, and clearly was receiving special treatment from the Kahndaq government, but her early memories of her dream-like life with her birth mother on the Rock of Eternity lost with time–she treated the “Kahndaq Sciences Development Fund” with suspicion.

On a trip into London with friends she stepped off the train into the Rock of Eternity, and at nineteen was finally reunited with her parents. A month on the rock passed in a heart-beat on Earth as she was prepared for a mystical gift from her parents, a magical word that would transform her into a powerful champion for her people.

Travelling to Metropolis for graduate studies was life-changing. The Kahndaq Embassy in Metropolis was not popular, and it was clear that the State Department was aware of her heritage and disapproved of her presence in the USA. Spending weeks, and missing most of the first semester, limited to a small apartment in the Embassy she agreed with the Embassy staff that the offer from Wayne Academy to act as a supervising authority and sponsor for her continued studies in the USA was preferable to returning to Kahndaq.

Personality:

Mayet is studious and disciplined, but she does love movies and coffee shops and shopping (although her personal budget is limited). She likes to laugh and cuddle up on couches and tries hard to be someone people can rely on. Due to a traditional upbringing she has little experience with men–she has been on a number of first dates, but always cited the importance of her studies as a reason not to continue those connections into a relationship.

Nefiru is distant, and perhaps arrogant. She seems humourless. She is a minor goddess among mortals and expects her presence to be seen as a boon.

Powers:

Mayet: Can shout the magic word NABIS and summon a magical bolt of lighting from the heavens, transforming her into Nefiru.

Nefiru: Nut’s control of the heavens. (Flight, Lightning and Wind control)
Amunet’s wisdom. (Can communicate with all terrestrial people and animals.)
Bastet’s bravery. (Resistant to fear and magical compulsion)
Isis’ mercy. (Can ease pain and aid peaceful passing).

Sekmet’s prowess. (Strength, speed, agility and endurance of peak “Olympic” athletes).

With the word NABIS can transform back to Mayet.

Special Qualities: Mayet is adored by all cats, tame, feral, and wild. (Mayet has only experienced tame and a few feral cats).

Mayet & Nefiru cannot access the Rock of Eternity.

Abilities: Mayet is current in CPR and First Aid and is handy with repairing sketchily maintained and jury-rigged machinery and electronics given the appropriate tools.

Mayet is fluent in Egyptian Arabic and reads/writes Literary Arabic.
Mayet is fluent and literate in English, but speaks with an accent (Egyptian and “Etonian” English)

Nefiru speaks in Ancient Egyptian, c 2000 BCE, and can read Egyptian Hieratic and Hieroglyphs. With the Wisdom of Amunet she can communicate with all terrestrial people.

(She cannot communicate verbally with Superman, or the Martian Manhunter, though, as they are not terrestrial in origin).

Special Equipment: none

Limitations/Weaknesses:

If denied the ability to shout, Mayet cannot transform. (Neither can Nefiru).

Although Billy and Captain Marvel are different people who share knowledge, and Teth-Adam is Black Adam, Mayet does not share consciousness with Nefiru, she is unaware of anything that happens after she transforms. Nefiru is aware of Mayet.

Mayet cannot transform covertly. Additionally, transforming indoors will create some structural damage.

The longer Nefiru remains on the mortal plane, the worse the weather will get. Hurricane/cyclone force winds might take days, but clouds start to gather and the wind picks up whenever she transforms. Rain or snow might fall based on local temperature and humidity.

Ons & Offs: Pending

Plot Seeds: Why can Mayet not perceive or remember Nefiru’s actions? Is it a curse? Or is Nefiru too haughty to share her consciousness with a mere mortal?

Player Notes:

Nefiru is designed to be a parallel to 1980’s X-Men’s Storm–her primary abilities are wind & lightning control. I steered away from “female Black Adam” as it seems far too powerful.

Everlasting Starfall

Name: Sophie Yoon
Codename: Ocean Tide
Age: 19
Species: Human*
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Lesbian
Enrollment: Recruit
Appearance: Long blue hair. Gray eyes that change to teal when she is using her powers. Athletic build.
Faceclaim:

History:  Sophie grew up in a family to an American father and Korean mother. Her life was very much ordinary, but still good. She was reasonably popular in school, nothing crazy. One of her biggest interests is sports, and she was a member of the local Volleyball club as well as training Judo from a young age — thanks to her mother.

One summer, when she was out surfing with some friends, a big wave got her crashing into the ocean, with her surfboard knocking her unconscious. She would have drowned, but something awoke inside of her. Suddenly she could breathe like she was on land, and she had a way easier time to move in the water, almost like she was a fish! Some other weird things happened as well. For once, her hair turned blue, another was that a pair of gills showed up on her neck, small fins started to show up along the part of the spine that is between the shoulderblades. as well as on the back of her calves.

As it turns out, she had a very small amount of Atlanteans blood, not from any close relative, but probably a few generations back.  After this awakening she has tried to learn how to control her powers better, while figuring out what they all are. But also, trying to seek answers.

It was through this that the Wayne Academy learned about her and eventually offered her a spot, which she accepted.

Personality: Sophie used to be very outgoing, but ever since she got her powers she has been a bit more withdrawn, mostly because she has tried to hide it. She is a bit cautious with new people at the academy since she is not used to the world of heroes yet. Other than that she is kind, and try to help others if she can.

Powers: Sophie gains a few of her powers from the Atlantean’s. Such as being able to breath under water, as well as a bit of better durability and senses. However since her blood is so diluted she does not really have superhuman strength. As for her senses, her hearing is a bit better than a normal human while on land, while her vision lets her see reasonably well in the dark.

Another big thing for her, was the ability to manipulate water, as well as creating it. The latter part being much more taxing for her.
And finally, she does have some ability to heal people, which is texting for her. It makes it easier if the person is submerged in water.

Abilities: She is fluent in English and Korean, considering her parents. She got a 3rd degree black belt in Judo.

Limitations/Weaknesses: To use her powers to the highest extent she needs a source of water. If she has to create a lot of water herself she will quickly drain her own stamina. The same goes with her healing, she has an easier time with it if the target is already in water.

Ons & Offs: See my signature for link. But other than that, she is more on the submissive side of things.

Name: Marida Nein (Mechanical Autonomous Replicant IDeAtion 9)
Codename: Datastream
Age: 22
Species: Human Consciousness in a Gynoid Frame
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Sapphic Asexual (Into those with She/Her, She/They, and They/Them pronouns. Not into sex)
Enrollment: Recruit
Appearance:
Faceclaim: Elena Satine

History: Klaus Nein was but a lonely scientist with only his daughter to remember his late wife, Carol, by. Hence, Marida was his pride and joy throughout the first decade and a half of her life. It was a shame that on the day of a particularly bad storm, the poor man lost even that.

Driven by grief, he began to build a way to bring her back in the the only way he could manage....a gynoid with a digital upload of Marida's brain. Hence, Marida (or Mechanical Autonomous Replicant IDeAtion) was back. She was full of programs and gadgets to ensure that no mere car accident would ever harm her again.

Hence, Marida's remaining child up to her twenties have been fruitful. After all, she's a humble bookworm of a girl with a good heart. It's why in particular that she wanted to sign up for the academy despite her father's urging not to for her safety.

Personality: Marida is a fairly humble girl that loves to get lost in her books when she's not helping others. If anything, she's the perpetual mom friend so to speak. Always ensuring those she meets are doing well and getting enough sleep, she maybe takes a bit too much on even when her stamina is crazy.

Powers:
-Data-Interphase: Marida is able to seamlessly began hacking into devices she is able to touch. Admittedly, her neural net could possibly flow out of her body and into the world wide web, but she hasn't dare tested that yet.

Special Qualities: Marida has a noted amount of moral fiber due to being the perpetual mom friend. It doesn't stop her from breaking laws, but more or less encourages her to keep her friends in position where they are never forced to.

Abilities:
-Fighting Subroutines: Marida is programmed with several routines mostly centered around shoot aikido (Basically aikido, but modified to function in actual combat) and gun katas.

Special Equipment:
-Thrusters: Thrusters can emit from opening plates across Marida's body in order to allow her to fly.
-Steel-Thetic Skin: Marida's skin a network of titanium plates covered in a layer of synthetic skin to mimic a human form while allowing for hard endurance.
-Machine-like Strength: Being a gynoid, Marida easily ignores human limitations and stresses in takes to lift things. Especially when she can use that strength to yeet cars when she takes both hands to one.

-Flame-Thrower: Marida can increase the output in her palm thrusters to make them work as actual flamethrowers.
-Stuntap: Plates can open in Marida's fingers so she can taze her opponents by pressing them against them and emitting a tough shock from the stun modules that emerge.

Limitations/Weaknesses:
-Charging: Marida needs to every 36 hours lest she be left drooping and offline. Using her powers further drains her batteries.
-Doubt: While she puts on a strong front, there's a lot of dismal thoughts whirling in the back of drive like "Am I good enough?", "As my head really human?", and "Why are my memories starting to feel off?"
-Emps: Marida is weak to electromagnetic pulses while her tech is out since creates holes in her EMP shielding.

Ons & Offs: Cuddles, Affection, Romance, Outfits/Intercourse, Gore, Bathroom Stuff

Plot Seeds:
-Memory Holes (Why she's number 9, the origins of her neural net)
-Becoming her own person
-Romance

Kelsey Kent

Name: Kelsey Kent
Codename: Superia
Age: 18
Parents: Clark Kent and Lois Lane Kent
Species: Half Kryptonian
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual, heavy female lean
Enrollment: Legacy
Appearance: 5'11, Long black hair, blue eyes.
Faceclaim: Please pick a real life model or comic appearance. This isn't required, but it does help everyone envision your character!

History: Kelsey is the only daughter of Clark Kent and Lois Lane. She grew up in Metropolis, enjoying a mostly regular life until the age of six, when she learned her father was Superman. Her powers arrived when she was sixteen, and Clark began training her to use them in a responsible manner. While Kelsey wanted to become a hero like her father, he wasn't sure she was ready and her mother insisted that she also focus on an education, so Wayne Academy appeared to be a compromise. Kelsey has a good grip on her powers, but also has a lot to learn, especially when it comes to socializing.

Personality: Kelsey is intelligent, witty and upbeat. She is outgoing, but the trait is actually more of an adaption caused by her anxiety more so than her true self. She suffers from moments of self-doubt, and isn't always confident in her self, She is much more confident in costume than out. She is moral almost to a fault, but also understands there is a gray area, getting that trait from her mother.

Powers: Superia possesses the typical powers for a Kryptonian. However, due to her status as half human, her powers are not the same. Kelsey's strength and speed are actually stronger than her fathers, but her body cells do not process solar energy as cleanly. If Kelsey goes a week without access to the sun, she will become basically human. She can also deplete the stored solar energy in her body, if she performs more taxing activities requiring her powers. In this case, she could become powerless within hours, if the effort was constant, and she had no access to the sun.

Special Qualities: Kelsey has been trained in fighting by Wonder Woman, and is a much more talented hand-to-hand combatant than her father. She possesses an amazingly high IQ, and is generally good at reading people, even if her lack of social skills tends to hamper this.

Abilities: Kelsy is fluent in Kryptonian and English. She also learned how to question and interrogate someone from her mother.

Special Equipment: N/A

Limitations/Weaknesses: Kelsey is slightly weaker at night, but it directly depends on the amount of solar energy stored, and how much she has used since her last solar exposure. She is weak to kryptonite, but it acts much more slowly on her than full-blooded Kryptonians.

#18
Name: Lily Jaqueline Quinzel
Codename: Upsy Daisy
Age: 18
Parents Harleen Quinzel & Jervis Tetch
Species: Human
Gender: Trans/Futa
Sexual Orientation: Polysexual
Enrollment: Reformation
Appearance: A wild-haired young woman with a love of high-heeled boots and a remarkable form-fitting costume that shifts about like it is alive, showing patterns and forms around her shapely figure.
Faceclaim: Witney Carson
 Costume:  Gym Uniform:

History: The child of two well-known Villains, it was written in the stars that Lily would have a rough upbringing. Her parents were hardly able to care for and provide for her on any regular basis, completely unable to offer any sort of stable home. Harleen refuses to admit she would ever sleep with Jervis on a dare, while Jervis fervently denies any memory of such events. Harleen at least acknowledges Lily, having undeniably given birth to her, but had little contact in her formative years, as she was usually otherwise occupied (often in Arkham). Lily's superhuman abilities are said to be natural from birth, but many suspect that Harleen dosed her daughter with the same chemicals she was at one time given by Ivy. While her birth record at the hospital indicates her gender as Female, there is no doubt that currently, while female in outward appearance, and generally preferring female of non-binary pronouns, she possesses a penis and external testes. No medical records exist concerning this.

With no home, Lily drifted through the foster system from home to home, any indication of her parents' identities was enough to scare off most foster parents, and her reckless behaviour generally shunned the rest. Halfway houses and juvenile detention were no less successful, so upon turning 18, it was determined by a Judge, who'd been following her progress, that Wayne Academy might be able to set her up for a future with some stability and purpose.

Personality: Incredibly self-involved and self-serving, she has little idea what the world shouldn't be at her feet, or at least somewhere other than telling her what she should be doing. Her lack of stability as well as a lack of any reasonable figured to look up to has left her wandering and aimless, almost certainly impacted by ADHD, but also some learning disabilities which she has hidden and fought to overcome on her own, refusing to show weakness in an uncaring world.

Powers: Superhuman Agility - I'm like all bendy, wanna come over and see HOW bendy?
Superhuman Durability - I take a licking and keep on beating the snot out of you!
Superhuman Stamina - What's wrong sugar, done already? I'm just getting warmed up!
Superhuman Reflexes - Yeah, I caught your fancy arrow. What, you want it back? I don't think so, chump!

Special Qualities: Chaotic Neutral.

Abilities:
Genius Level Intellect, Gymnastics - Olympic Level, Hand-to-Hand Combat (Advanced), Martial Arts, Hypnosis, Arachnology, Herpetology

Special Equipment:
Reactive Costume: Based on the technology used in the mask of the former vigilante Rorschach, she can control the patterns on the suit but is so far only able to handle black and white patterns. She is rumoured to have designed and developed it on her own.
4D Hammer: A long stick, almost as tall as she is that she carries, usually strapped to her back which, when manipulated in the right manner, a giant, almost comical double-headed hammerhead forms on top of it. While the hammer is technically always there, it's able to be hidden away in some form of pocket dimension. This was a gift from her mother, though almost certainly stolen technology.
Anastasia: a 24' long anaconda, registered as her support animal.

Limitations/Weaknesses: Lily doesn't actually care about much, the crimes she was accused of that got her put into Wayne Academy were just something to do. She doesn't want to rule the world, she doesn't want to save humanity, she doesn't even want to get revenge or anything, she just wants to do things, usually whatever comes to mind first. As such she's just as likely to walk away from saving the world in the middle of victory, as she is to be the one blowing up the world on a whim. If she is stopped from getting something she wants she'll more likely pout than fight for it.

Ons & Offs: O & O's

Plot Seeds: TBD

WIP (shelved)

Name: Floyd Lawton
Codename: Deadshot (formerly)
Age: old enough to have fathered an adult teenage daughter
Parents N/A
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Enrollment: Recruit/Reformed (?) Faculty
Appearance:

Faceclaim:

History:

Floyd Lawton grew up as a member of the idle rich. His father George Lawton made money in real estate, and his mother Genevieve Pitt belonged to a family of wealthy bankers. His brother Edward Lawton was a golden child, described as the opposite of Floyd. Both parents doted on Edward while treating Floyd poorly, but Floyd still grew up idolizing his older brother. George was unfaithful and cruel to Genevieve, so she asked her sons to kill their father. Eddie locked Floyd in the boathouse when Floyd tried to warn his father. Floyd broke out and grabbed his hunting rifle. Eddie had already shot their father in the second-floor library, paralyzing George for life, and was preparing to kill him. Floyd climbed a tree and aimed to disarm his brother, but a branch snapped and he shot Eddie between the eyes. He killed the brother he loved to save the father he hated. This incident was covered up to avoid dishonoring the family name. George denied Genevieve a divorce and forced her to live alone on a small stipend.

Some time after that, Lawton sought the training of the professional assassin David Cain, who instructed Lawton and taught him his marksmanship abilities.

In the midst of years of back-and-forths between freedom, prison and basically government-based indentured servitude, Floyd found time and opportunity to father a daughter. Due to the nature of his work, his relationship with her is estranged. By all available accounts, they have a good relationship but Floyd had found it necessary to distance himself from her to protect her while supporting her both monetarily and emotionally as best he could. Government spooks under Amanda Waller do help him keep an eye on her of course but that was because she was important as leverage to access his services.

In his free time, he picks on organized crime to both sharpen his skills and to give back to the community. In particular, he prefers to take on the Cartels, the Mafiya/Bratva and the myriad of human refuse that dot troubled hotspots around the world.

As much as Batman had fought against him to prevent him from taking down his quarry on many occasions, there were occasions when even Batman had to acknowledge that there were people that were too far gone for his methods of rehabilitation. In those occasions, when both men were present, Batman simply metaphorically averted his gaze and let Floyd perform the deed before they departed without further conflict.

When Wayne Academy was first proposed, Floyd was surprised to receive a call from Bruce Wayne, asking for him to give up the life of a hitman and lone vigilante in exchange for a steady, high-paying job at the Academy and being released from his duty to the US Government. With some hesitation on his part resulting from apprehension, Floyd accepted the invitation and was formally inducted as one of the faculty to the institution.

Personality:

Formerly a man of relatively flexible morals but strong underlying convictions to his personal rules, Floyd is surprisingly nice and gentle to people around him and absolute strangers when he's “off the clock” despite his reputation. Politeness is something that is an extension of his professionalism “on the clock” and he considers that to be something he could always afford. Now his demeanor matches his moral standing and he strives to focus on the vigilantism off-the-clock that he originally considered an extracurricular back when he was an assassin-for-hire.

Powers:

Marksmanship - uncanny accuracy that’s said to be flawless and is functionally so unless acted-upon mid-flight.

Throwing - Extension of marksmanship

Peak human condition - senses and eyesight are about as good as an unenhanced human could get, physically-speaking he is also as fit as they come

Special Qualities:

Experienced Tactical Analyst

Interrogation

Negotiator

Intimidation

Demolitionist

Advanced Hand-to-Hand Combat

Abilities:

Multilingual (speaks Russian and other commonly used Slavic languages as well as Spanish)

Disguise (includes accent imitation)

Breaking-and-entering (includes lockpicking and other relevant skills)

Investigative skill

Weaponsmithing

Defensive Driving

Special Equipment:

Personal Arsenal

wrist guns
Design details:
A striker-fired pair of pistol calibre guns with an electronic trigger, the Wrist Guns are chambered in 9mm Parabellum. With a single-stack magazine design taking inspiration from that of the FN Herstal P90 or the Hill H15 submachine gun that came before it, the guns are integrally suppressed with 3-inch suppressors that are pinned to the 4.3-inch barrels. The suppressors are a monolithic baffle design for longevity, ease of production through 3D printing and maintenance. With a magazine capacity of 7+1, the Wrist Guns originally fired 140 gr. Copper monolithic hollow point bullets with a steel penetrator cap at a muzzle velocity that is high subsonic or transonic at roughly 300m/s, give or take 5m/s based on atmospheric and temperature variation with primers and brass cases that are unmarked save for their intended calibre. Currently, in his capacity as Combat Simulation Instructor, the original rounds are replaced with simunition with compatible ballistic properties to the custom-tooled cartridges he used with the only difference being a massive decrease in lethality due to the nature of simulated munitions. Case ejection follows the direction of the elbows. The guns fire in semi-automatic and as fast as the bolt can cycle, in effect that means a theoretical cyclic rate of fire of 1100-1200 rpm but a significantly lower practical rate of fire mechanically limited by magazine size and how quickly the trigger can be pressed. Cocking notches to prepare the weapon and clear stoppages are located in the bolts sized for the index finger with the notch facing inwards towards the torso. The electronic triggers for the wrist guns are stored in a compartment in the inner wrist of the suit and have the form factor of a cylinder each with two separate buttons, a safety and the trigger. Both the safety and the trigger have to be pressed for the gun to fire one shot and the trigger button would need to be released before the second shot could be fired. The trigger buttons are pressed with the thumbs while the safeties are bar-shaped buttons that have to be held down by the palm while gripped. As an additional operator safety precaution, when the guns are deployed, the suppressors extend out slightly beyond the knuckles in order to keep the shots from being able to make contact with any part of his hands.

Capability:

Intended maximum effective range of 25 metres (this is not an indication of terminal ballistics but rather a projection of the maximum range that Floyd would have 100% confidence of scoring a hit on a target barring events outside of his control

Armor piercing capability rated at NIJ Standard-0101.07 Type IIIA at intended maximum effective range, minimum capability of Type IIA at terminal ballistic range.

WayneTech endowment

Limitations/Weaknesses:

Lactose Intolerance: very mild, is normally an inconvenience at worst

Human-level durability

Ons & Offs:

@Kara Danvers I see why you messaged me.  These sheets really are amazing, and the people submitting them are amazing, we most definitely should strike while the iron is hot.  (Because the characters are even hotter!)

BlueOrange

OK, Kara and I have met, and here's a somewhat more structured update on the state of the game:

Character submitted, not approved at this time (1)
MetroFallout ("Deadshot": Floyd Lawton)

We qualify for a 'Big Group' subforum, and we have requested one.  Last time we did that, it came through in a couple of days, so hopefully staff aren't too busy and we'll get a similar turnaround.

Deadshot is not approved at this time because Kara and I are working out how we feel about non-GM faculty.  There's also a question about whether the tone of the Deadshot sheet matches the tone of the game.  I'll be contacting MetroFallout in DMs to work out the best way forward.

In related news, I don't have a character sheet done!  I do have an awesome faculty mugshot, courtesy of MightyMaiden:

Without getting too much into what's blocking me, I'm finding creativity a bit challenging at the moment, and I'm getting satisfaction out of admin/support work.  Hopefully that satisfaction will extend to a point where the muse is with me and I participate fully in the IC.  In the meantime, I'll be doing the paperwork and acting as a sounding board for anyone who is willing to tolerate my interfering ways.

Threads
As discussed privately with a few people, the plan is to have people doing one thread per scene.  A big group subforum means that we can do this, and we don't then have to scroll past a scene we're not writing, and then forget where we were up to, and, and, and.... At the same time, the idea is that this is a group game, not just a collection of scenes.  So we're going to have a 'thread header', and we're currently thinking along these lines:

Location:  Main entrance
Start time: 8th November 2023, 8:30am

And the rule is please actually pick a specific location, and actually pick a specific start time.  That way, if people want to construct a clear understanding of who did what to whom (and when), they have a reasonable opportunity to do so.

We will pin an OOC thread, but be aware that we have a Discord server for people with approved characters, and it's an awesome place full of supportive people.  Lots of brainstorming and decision-making is happening there, and being reported here.

Opening event
Your character is ICly expected to attend the opening event, which is roommate allocation.  ICly, we will be pulling names out of a hat.  OOCly, we will be trying to create interesting situations that people can enjoy.  You can use the poll here to indicate your OOC requirements and they'll go into a spreadsheet the GMs can use to access people's answers really conveniently - don't forget to provide your name and to add any comments you'd like us to take into account in that space.  (Information provided in that space will be visible to everyone.)

Feel free to start scenes that happen before or after the opening event without waiting for it to start (let alone finish).

MetroFallout

As per a discussion with Blue, I have decided to shelve Floyd for later. In the meantime, I will work on an OC to join.

MetroFallout

Due to events that have occurred beyond my control, I have decided to postpone my interest in this thread.

BlueOrange

After much happy chatting in the Discord server, we've decided to go live with the game tomorrow, and we will ask staff to help us move the (presumably pretty limited) threads we've created into the Big Groups area after we start.  With that in mind, we have launched the Character Roster thread, if you have an approved character, please post it there.

We've also set up the room assignments, and are communicating them OOCly here.

Is there room for 1 or 2 more characters? I'm thinking of an OC student (size changer, growth and shrink; daughter of Ray Palmer) and maybe bring on Cassue Sandsmark as a Humanities/Classics teacher.

BlueOrange

That sounds like fun!  I'll DM you a link to the discord server to discuss further, we are working pretty closely with people as they develop faculty characters because we're in the process of working out what we want, and we're nervous that the wrong concept might have a big impact on the game as a whole.

Has anyone claimed a child of Green Arrow or Black Canary yet? 👀

Outcast

A belated offering.  Hopefully it's not too terrible!

Name:  Honor Savage
Codename:  N/A
Age:  21
Parents Scandal Savage (clone of), Knockout, and Liana Kerzner.
Species:  Human / Immortal
Gender:  Female
Sexual Orientation:  Lesbian
Enrollment: Legacy / reformation.
Appearance: 5’9”, athletically curvy
Faceclaim: Fernanda D’Avila

History:  What’s an immortal warlord to do, when the only healthy child he has sired in more than forty millennia determinedly refuses to provide him with the next generation… and especially with the male heir he yearns to be able to mould in his own image?  For Vandal Savage, responses have ranged from blackmail to kidnap - but some years back he also detoured into cloning.
As was the case with most of his plans for her, Scandal was more than a little upset when she found out.  With her wife, the Fury (or ‘New God’) known as Knockout, Vandal’s daughter raided his research facilities during one of his extended absences.  Wrecking most of what they found, they absconded with the one successful clone thus far produced.
Named ‘Honor’ in both a pointed rebuke to Vandal, and in honour of Scandal’s favourite kick-ass actress from the ‘60s, the rescuee was raised by three ‘mothers’ - Scandal, Knockout, and their mutual spouse Liana.  From the first two, she received intensive training in combat techniques and technological developments… but the third provided a constant point of connection to the world of mundane human experience and emotion.
Run-ins with the law were rather more common than was the case for most children, courtesy of Honor’s tendency to deal very directly with bullies and her habit of ‘exploring’ computer systems, but all three of her parents were keen to keep her out of serious trouble - not least because they were quite certain that a veritable host of organisations (both criminal and law-enforcement) would be paying close attention to her.
It was Liana’s idea to enroll Honor at Wayne Academy, in the hope of helping her to better find her feet in the ‘mortal’ world.  Now that she’s fully-grown, her innate abilities and training combine to make her an unusually dangerous young woman: all her mothers agree that Honor might manage to have a happier life than has generally been the case for Scandal, if she can avoid becoming so isolated as her progenitor was for most of her life.

Personality:  Ferociously determined, but somewhat conflicted.  Trained by Scandal in the vital importance of “noble behaviour”, Honor has a powerful code of honour - though Liana’s gentler influence has ensured that Honor’s beliefs are rather more open and optimistic.
She wants to be ‘normal’ in some ways, but also revels in her unconventional abilities, and is acutely aware that she shares the Savage tendency to find violence intensely appealing.
There’s also a persistent background of apprehensive fear, now that she’s dared to move away from home.  True, Knockout and Scandal were frequently away ‘on business’ (often of a kind she was encouraged not to pry into), but the protection provided by an immortal and a ‘goddess’ was always there in the background.  Now, Honor has to rely upon herself and a rather random collection of strangers for defence - against anyone who might want revenge upon any of her parents, against her grandfather, against those who might hope to use her to manipulate Vandal, against anyone who might hope to use her as a research subject (in simple pursuit of immortality, or to try to work out how to kill Vandal)....
And, of course, there’s the simple question of how she might manage to fit in and get on amidst a large number of strangers.  For that, Liana’s influence seems likely to be more helpful than the training provided by her other two parents…

Powers:   Like Scandal, most of Honor’s abilities are comparable to assorted ‘super soldier’ creations.  Her agility and reflexes are Olympic standard, while her strength allows her to easily pick up and run with a 500lb burden.  That power makes her acrobatic and gymnastic talents a match for cinematic special effects: she can flip and tumble (over obstacles or through combat) as if employing trampolines and wires, but cannot come close to leaping tall buildings in a single bound.  That strength also boosts her speed, though only to marginally ‘super’ levels: while wearing boots and running across rough ground, she could match an elite sprinter’s effort on a track.
Her stamina is exceptional, even by super-soldier standards: holding a conversation while running is simple, and she can sustain high-level exertion for longer than even the majority of supers.
Most notable among her ‘gifts’ is her (suspected) immortality.  Like Scandal, it’s unclear quite what would be required to actually kill her, but it’s presumed that her resilience and healing are directly comparable to her progenitor.  Amanda Waller, for example, once captured Scandal by having her riddled with 50-cal rounds from a heavy machine gun at point blank range: that was sufficient to allow a team to take her into custody, but didn’t even knock her out.
Healing is painful - especially when it comes to regrowing organs - and Honor’s body is still (somewhat) susceptible to mundane damage.  She can receive injections (with enough effort and a sharp enough needle), and can certainly be shot or cut… but impact damage in particular seems to be absorbed without real harm: that machine gun punched neat holes in Scandal rather than ripping her apart, as a prime example.
Whether Honor’s abilities are yet a match for Scandal’s is unclear: she’s aware that it’s possible that such things are still developing, and she’s keen to avoid finding out whether she can do anything major like regrow an eye or her liver.

Special Qualities:  Stubborn to a fault, when it comes to matters of honour - though not yet quite to the same levels as her progenitor.  Still, she knows the stories of Scandal doing things like leading a rescue team into Hell to save Knockout, and is aware that she probably has the potential to be as pigheaded…

Abilities: Though raised to be multilingual, Honor lags far behind Scandal’s near-century of globe-trotting experience.  Still, she is proficient in (Brazilian) Portuguese and French as well as the tribal language spoken by the remote Amazonian village in which Scandal spent the first part of her life: that last serves as a useful ‘secret tongue’ for their family.  She has spent some time studying Czech, German, Spanish, and (more recently) Latin, but wouldn’t claim to be fluent in any of them.
Honor’s technologically proficient: one parent is a literal alien, while another made much of her money as a tech-expert for less-than-legal enterprises.  Though she’s not remotely a gadgeteer, she is au fait with most developments… and would be considered quite a skilled hacker by most student bodies.  She doesn’t expect that to carry much weight at Wayne Academy, however: it would be more than a little shocking if the systems there were vulnerable to her merely-mundane gifts!
Where she has excelled is in physical activity: even the ‘merely human’ member of her trio of mothers was a professional dancer, and Honor has learned from all three of the women who raised her.  Given the emphasis on interacting with ‘normal’ society (in which wandering around while laden with weaponry is not appropriate), she has most heavily trained in unarmed combat - but Scandal put a lot of time into teaching her the ‘noble’ arts of the blade.  Honor has fenced and practiced kendo for longer than she can recall, but has precious little experience of using swords in real combat. Likewise, she received private lessons in using Scandal’s signature wrist-mounted Lamentation Blades, but those remain with her mother and have not been brought to the Academy.
An area that Honor is particularly keen to explore is magic: though Scandal has thus far demonstrated little interest in such things, Vandal is a dedicated occultist with a gift for elaborate rituals.  Honor is eager to build upon her mother’s limited gifts (primarily lucid dreaming, and an awareness of and ability to resist others’ efforts to intrude upon her dreams) and explore what might be possible if she were to embrace that path.  She hopes that the Academy will be able to open up new horizons for her.

Special Equipment: Wealthy family (two of her parents are former(?) supervillains / mercenaries), but not remotely on the same sort of level as the Waynes.  Honor has an array of high-tech (but not super-grade) gear: expensive laptop, kevlar-weave biking jacket, and so on.  A nice motorcycle is one of her more prized possessions.

Limitations/Weaknesses:  Honour, eccentricity, and anger are the primary psychological quirks likely to arise in play: Honor simply doesn’t think like most other people, and even though she has softened and broadened Scandal’s rigid (and very limited) code of “noble behaviour”, she is acutely aware of the need to cling to her personal code as a way to keep the Savage temper in check.
Similarly, her home life is too unconventional for her to have a terribly firm grasp on what counts as normality.  For every dance class Liana took her to or Disney movie the pair of them watched, she spent an afternoon being taught how to control super-strength or being put through her paces in combat practice.  And she’s never met anyone else who had three mothers, nor another clone…

Ons & Offs:  Well-informed (courtesy of her strange parental situation) but personally inexperienced in matters of romance: Honor is very much aware that it would be easy for her to accidentally harm any mundane partner if she lost control while excited.  Very much female-inclined, but not sure of a great deal beyond that.

Plot Seeds: Nothing is a requirement here - bringing someone like Vandal Savage into a game could be rather selfish, given the propensity of the immortal warlord to cause mayhem and grandstand - but plots relating to Vandal could certainly drag in Honor.  Even if Vandal has written off his daughter’s clone as a dead-end experiment, others might want to target (or study) her in hope of finding a way to overcome her creator or to manipulate her mothers.
Via the Savage lineage, Honor is deemed to be ‘of royal blood’ by various organisations (such as the League of Shadows), and might even be considered to be part of assorted prophecies… though as an artificially-created clone, others might view her as a blasphemous problem needing to be destroyed.

#44
Name: Selina Kyle
Codename: Catwoman
Age: 51
Parents Not Applicable
Species: Human
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual
Enrollment: Faculty (Physical Education / Gymnastics)
Appearance:

Faceclaim: Charlize Theron

History: Selina’s first life was in the orphanage, which was a very strict and oppressive environment. She hated it there, and got herself out as fast as she could.  Her second life was living on the streets, fending for herself, stealing to survive, and squatting in alleyways, on rooftops and pretty much anywhere she could get a decent meal.

Her third life was, just… super. Living in a luxury penthouse apartment, stealing for her own private entertainment, and living a life of complete freedom. Her affair with Bruce Wayne was as passionate as her conflict with Batman. The discovery that they were the same person was… confronting.

Life number four, as the happy housewife of the retired billionaire? It was what she thought she wanted. Knew that she should want, at the very least. Plenty of opportunities to laze in the sunlight by the pool. But she started to feel bored, and Bruce never stopped feeling guilty. She started stealing things again, daring him to catch her, and he did. But it wasn’t the same.

And so began life number five, as Bruce established Wayne Academy. Selina looked at what he was planning, and it seemed very much as if he was trying to give these kids the childhood he never had. Not the firm support and live he’d received from Alfred, but a fantasy of order and structure. No opportunities for growth or exploration, just perfect predictable order in a cocoon that would inevitably defeat itself.

Unless, of course, someone with a sharp claw was to cut a few breathing holes in that cocoon. Then the kids might have an opportunity for a life, not just an education. Four lives still to come…

Personality: Catlike, darling. Slow, measured and lazy so much of the time that you’d never believe the speeds and frenzied energy she could still achieve. A true ambush predator who watches and waits, picking her moment before striking decisively. A lover of affection and kindness, and a ferocious fighter. Someone who goes where she pleases, secure in the knowledge that she has a divine right to do so.

Powers: Peak human strength, speed, and agility.

Special Qualities: Master cat burglar. Expert martial artist and whip wielder.

Abilities: Nearly undetectable when hiding.

Special Equipment: Special whips, claws, night vision kit, and cat ears. (Several interchangeable pieces with appropriate capabilities for the needs of the plot.)

Limitations/Weaknesses: Past her physical prime. Aches and pains. Recently reconstructed right knee. Plays with her food. Not great on follow-through.

Ons & Offs: See signature. Also: likes powerful people who know what they want. Enjoys curling up in a warm place and being stroked gently. The line between combat and foreplay is blurry.

Plot Seeds: While she has no official power in the school hierarchy, everyone is quite aware that her husband owns the school. If you want strategic influence, she’s a valuable ally and a dangerous opponent.

Let me know if you have something that it might be fun for her to steal.

#45
Name: Cynthia Luthor
Codename: Goddess of Evil
Age: 18
Parents Lex Luthor, Cythonna
Species: Humanoid Demigod
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual
Enrollment: Reform
Appearance: Tall, dark, incredibly beautiful. Dresses like an MMO character.

Faceclaim: Cara Delevingne

History: When your mother is a bona fide goddess of evil, and your father is an infamous mastermind, you have a lot to live up to. Especially when your mother’s telepathic influence is constantly reaching across the multiverse to remind you that she conquered her first planet at age 12, and what have you done, Cynthia? When you say ‘almost conquered a shopping mall’, what is a mother to think, exactly?

Personality: Entitled, bitchy, supremely narcissistic

Powers (Reliable):
These powers are available to her. But they kinda suck.

Probably Immortal The voice in Cynthia’s head says that she cannot die by any means. What Cynthia knows is that she definitely feels pain, and that she’s not keen on testing this.

Mind Control Cynthia can compel people to do things that they want to do by telling them to do it in a loud and bossy tone.

Astral Reception Is able to communicate with Cythonna when Cythonna uses her Astral Projection power.

Worship Empowerment Feels much better when people worship her.

Flights Very good at getting her father to pay for plane tickets.

Televerby Can communicate verbally and in text over great distances by using a phone.

Energy Projection Can discharge small lightning bolts from her fingers if she shuffles her feet along synthetic carpet for a couple of minutes to power this ability.

Telekinesis Can move objects with the power of her mind, provided that she is holding them in her hands and they’re not too heavy.

Immune to rational arguments able to resist any and all alternative explanations for her supernatural powers.

Writer takes pity once in a while, her powers are actually genuinely powerful. Until they’re not. The whims of the multiverse are profoundly mysterious.

Powers (Actually Genuinely Powerful)):
These powers are granted to Cynthia by her mother’s divine essence. Her mother is trapped inside a trans-dimensional prison that has been sent to the furthest reaches of the multiverse, and the forces influencing their availability are dark and mysterious. There are three walls that magic can routinely overcome, but it is only when she is able to find a chink in the Fourth Wall that she truly becomes powerful. Cynthia has developed a theory that she, and everyone else in the world, are puppets who exist solely for the amusement of a cabal of trans-dimensional beings she calls The Authors. These ‘Authors’ create reality itself through acts of will, and her access to her powers depends entirely on their whims. They live on the other side of a trans dimensional barrier called The Fourth Wall, which Cynthia is occasionally able to break.

Mind Control Gods willing, she is able to exercise genuine mind control over others. So far, she has never replicated her mother’s feat of turning millions of people into slaves who intelligently comply with her wishes. But she has been able to get people to follow instructions they don’t want to follow. The extent of her control varies wildly, depending on the whims of the Authors.

This works (or completely fails) depending on how the Author reading my post thinks it should. If Mind Control is a kink for you, then we work out how it works OOC. If you don’t like it, either in general or in the specific, then it fails.

Damage resistant While Cynthia is definitely not immune to pain, she never seems to suffer lasting injuries.

Transdimensional glimpse The Authors sometimes grant Cynthia images of faraway worlds, which appear in her mind like a video. She has learned that if she focuses on someone, she can cause them to see the vision as well.

Knowledge Outside Ordinary Capabilities Cynthia is sometimes able to access information Outside the Ordinary Capabilities of any mortal. She believes that this OOC knowledge comes directly from the Authors: that when they control their puppets in the world, they include information that cannot be obtained by any ordinary capability. She ‘reads’ this information when she can, although never in a ‘thread’ where she is not present.

Discordant sense Cynthia’s access to the Plane of Discord is unreliable at best, but she has an uncanny capacity to sense which people have the attention of the authors. These people (the Primary Channels) fascinate her, as they represent an opportunity to strengthen her links to the Authors. She is convinced that the Authors have plans for the Primary Channels, even though those plans may seem confused and disorganized to mere mortals. In theory, her Discordant Sense gives her the gift of prophecy. In practice, this seems to be limited to ‘something important will happen at the Halloween Party’ and that sort of thing.

Weave the fabric of reality If at least two authors are grasping the same Reality Thread, and all Authors touching the thread focus their energy in the same direction, Cynthia can reshape reality itself as if it were a dream. This is not reliably reshaped the way Cynthia wants, but is rather a reflection of the will of the authors.

Special Qualities:
Access to a significant trust fund.

Abilities:

Special Equipment:
Sometimes gets her hands on a LexCorp gadget or prototype. Occasionally, she manages to work out how to disable the safeties.

Limitations/Weaknesses:
Weakened by unbelievers her powers are less reliable in the presence of skeptics and unbelievers.

Puppet Cynthia’s will is not always her own. Is it her mother, mind-controlling her from across the multiverse? Or is it the Authors, humiliating her for their petty amusements? Regardless of the true cause, Cynthia sometimes finds herself doing things she doesn’t want to do, for reasons she cannot understand. These episodes terrify her.

Involuntary mental stasis - the multiverse is not a superhighway, it is more like a series of tubes. Sometimes, those tubes get blocked, and time doesn’t flow. Most people don’t notice this, because their awareness pauses when the universe pauses. But when Cynthia’s awareness pauses, the universe keeps going. Sometimes she is frozen in place like a statue. Other times, she keeps doing whatever she was doing, unaware of the decreasing appropriateness of her actions. And sometimes she becomes extremely cooperative, doing whatever the people around her decide she should do.

Clearly insane Cynthia’s explanations of the world around her are ludicrous nonsense, and her bizarre behaviour reinforces a clear message to everyone around her: this woman is insane, and probably dangerous with it.

Ons & Offs:  See signature. Likes obedient slaves, worshippers, and people who play along with her fantasies.

Plot Seeds: Her powers actually work on YC! Wait till mother hears about this!

YC manipulates her for money and/or whatever else they can get from her.

YC thinks they can reform her.

Cynthia comes out of mental stasis to discover that YC has taken advantage of it somehow.

oldedog

Name: Zatanna Zatara
Codename: N/A
Age: 50 (Doesn't look it due to magic, appearance is closer to 30)
Parents Not Applicable
Species: Homo Magi
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual
Enrollment: Faculty (Magic/Ancient Languages)
Appearance:

Faceclaim: Serinda Swan

History: Zatanna comes from a long line of stage magicians and an even longer line of mystics. Her father, The Great Zatara", was one of the greatest magicians of his day and she followed in his footsteps. Her magical abilities, a byproduct of her Homo Magi blood, allowed her to set into an even more impressive role as a superhero. She spent as much time on stage as she did saving the world and is often remembered more for her shows then her heroics. She's fought demons and dark wizards both solo and along side other heroes like the Justice League.

Eventually, she started looking for means to pass on what she had learned and when Bruce came calling with the idea of a school to train the next generation of heroes, she could pass it up. It's a bit of a learning curve for her, most of her magic she learned through experimentation and practice but now she's expected to have an organized plan in place for her students.

Personality: Despite no longer performing shows, Zatanna still greatly loves the spotlight and putting on a show. She's still adjusting to her role as an instructor at the Academy and often pushes things a little too far during her classes. Zatanna has a bit of an impish nature, a surprise to no one, so she occasionally plays pranks on her fellow staffs members and possibly the students as well but it's all in good fun.

Powers: Various magical spells, usually requiring her to speak her intentions backwards. Limited ability to alter reality through the use of magic.

Special Qualities: World class magic user. Expert escape artist and stage magician. Competent martial artist.

Abilities: Speaks and reads multiple ancient or dead languages.

Special Equipment: Numerous and varied magical items, tomes, as well as props from her stage shows.

Limitations/Weaknesses: Like to talk and occasionally grandstand. Needs to be able to speak in order to cast her spells.

Ons & Offs: See signature. Also: A lifelong career on stage has given Zatanna an exhibitionist streak.

Plot Seeds: Some of Zatanna's things have gone missing, who could be behind the thefts?

BlueOrange

Zatanna is approved!

With that said, we are going to take a breath as GMs.  We've run a game together in the past that was wildly popular and we pushed too hard for growth and people ended up unhappy - we're committed to making different mistakes this time.

If you're already discussing a character with us, then please do continue that conversation.  If you're a new player, or an exsting player with a new character idea, then we welcome you to discuss ideas with players in this thread and on the discord, but the GMs will ignore you as hard as we can until we've had a chance to post as our characters and organize the things we want to organize.

BlueOrange

We are pleased to advise that we are ending the character approval freeze. Please be aware that now that we’ve ended the ‘launch’ phase of this game, our highest priority will be serving the characters and players who are already in the game. Therefore, we’ll be limiting the effort we put into approvals. We’re also not going to operate a strict queue: easier approvals will move more quickly, trickier ones will be slower. ‘GM enthusiasm’ will also be a factor, we believe our excitement about playing with a proposed character is a fair indication of how the players we’ve recruited will respond.

Kara knows.

Depending on your seriousness levels, please consider talking to me about ‘slow lane’ options. Many of the best writers on E are not lightning fast, and many of our lightning fast writers (myself included) have times when they need to slow down.

Mythril

The slow lane is an excellent idea.

I had that issue with a game I run online where one player was notorious for starting a character, posting many times in the first few days, and then gone for good.

I ended up running most of the PCs individually to avoid freezing people in space.

That's an awesome offer, B.

BlueOrange

If you keep calling me awesome, then I’m going to try to find ways to get you do it even more ;)

We have a slow lane option at the moment, and I’m genuinely interested in understanding if we should develop more options.

The option currently in place is ‘having lots of threads’ combined with ‘clear rules about the space-time continuum’.

The option that just popped into my head is to designate specific threads as ‘slow lane threads’ (‘relaxed pace threads’?) and to say clearly “Don’t get impatient if someone takes a week to reply in this one, and do wait your turn.”

Right now, what we realistically have is a ‘fast lane’ and several ‘very fast lanes’. Our “Entry/mixer” event sees one post per player per day. Several characters have left the mixer event, and are interacting in separate threads. (Unlike many games, we’ve given players the authority to create threads, subject to some rules.) Those threads are often proceeding at an absolutely blinding pace (upwards of 5 posts/player/day).

But there’s no reason why the extra threads have to be extra fast: the pace is set by the participants in that thread. I love the writing that less-available writers do on E, and am very keen to find a solution that works.

Mythril

100% agreed. As one of the fast posters, I don't like getting stuck in a thread anymore than someone else feels overwhelmed by my posting.

I'm lucky enough to work from home and therefore have more time to post.

I think this is the best way to satisfy all speeds.

Still awesome. lol

My job is 4 10 hour days on and 3 off, usually in a row. So ii tend to  be most prolific at the beginning of the week. I regularly post between 10 to 15 responses per day on my days off as most who write with me in other games know.

For me, it's the fear of stalling out an important story scene or combat. I will reach out to you this evening after work...which is near midnight EST...

Though a slow lane idea has been tried and worked !! by one of my fave people to write with (Blythe) back when they still actively GMed VtM games so it would be a cooler option to have

OK, here is that second application. Going with a hero this time around.
Writing as a villain is fun, but it's hard being a big ole meanie all the time.
I will say that if the mention of her OCD is a trigger for someone, I am comfortable with removing it and rebuilding the character.

I think she looks fantastic Rainy! As far as the OCD aspect goes, I think this is a chance to portray someone with a real issue, dealing with their mental health. Personally, I think it's important to represent individuals of every type! I know Rainy, having written with her in multiple games, and she is not going to make a joke or make light of something like this. So, if anyone does have any issues with it, please contact myself or Blue. Approved!

I wouldn't normally pile on like this (I hope), but I just want to say this in public, as well as in private:

If there's anyone out there who can't tolerate being in the same game as a character with mental health issues, then they won't be able to tolerate being in the same game as me.  Which means I want them gone, sooner than later.  Not every character is for every player and/or character.  I'm not saying "Being friends with Rainy or Destiny is required."  I am saying that if you don't like a world where characters like Destiny are free to exist, then this world is not for you.

Name: Charles Victor Szasz aka Vic Sage
Codename: The Question
Age: 19
Parents Unknown
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Enrollment: Recruit
Appearance:

Height: 6' 2”
Weight: 185 lbs
Hair Color: Red (Brown under the effects of Pseudoderm adhesive)
Eye Color: Blue (Cannot be seen under Pseudoderm)
Face Claim:Prince Harry!

History:Victor grew up in an orphanage and never knew his parents.  When he realized he carried he same name as a ruthless murderer, he began going by Victor (Vic) Sage.

In a city as corrupt as Gotham City, it would be a miracle if someone hadn't started training orphans as pick-pockets and burglars.  A masked man who called himself Fagin was responsible for instructing selected pre-teen orphans in these skills as well as the more computer based skills of hacking and identity theft.  Victor was an excellent student but he saw the damage his actions were causing and turned against the gang.  He ended up being frequently beaten for refusing to obey Fagin.

Victor spent as much  time as he could away from the orphanage and Fagin's gang as possible but he still received frequent beatings from the other orphans until he learned to properly defend himself.  He learned akido and kung fu under the tutelage of an old former world champion martial arts master.  The philosophy of the martial arts helped him deal with his anger issues and introduced him to spirituality and objectivism. The skills he learned allowed him to defend himself.  When he was finally able to give back better than he got, the gang left him alone, knowing that, even if he went to the police, no one would believe him.

Victor was able to discover a use for his second-storey skills when he reached high-school – gymnastics and to a lesser extent, acrobatics.  Guided by  his coach, a former Olympian, he applied himself to these disciplines.  He competed at the state level but did not manage to win a spot on a national team.
A chance encounter with Lois Lane sparked his interest in journalism as a career.  He learned the skills an investigative report would need and those skills, combined with his awareness of the corruption in Gotham City, spurred him to seek out the underlying factors that were responsible for all things.  His interest (some say obsession) with conspiracy theories got its start at this  point.  He planned to continue his interest in journalism into college but the Wayne Academy gave him a chance to see a much larger picture.

Personality:Victor is a study in contradictions.  He's a loner but he's left a long list of broken hearts behind him and is more than capable of working with a team.  He's paranoid but he's naive.  His true face is not the one he wears but the one he will assume when he becomes The Question; a blank featureless mask.  He has been called a sociopathic narcissist but then those were the words of a jilted ex-lover, so they need to be taken with a grain of salt.  The things he is interested in, he borders on the fanatical.  All else he finds boring.  He is passionate about journalism, justice and finding the answer to the ultimate question: "What's REALLY going on?".  His harsh upbringing, martial arts training and 'true warrior spirit' has helped him to forge an iron will.  He is also acutely paranoid or, as he puts it ‘It’s not paranoia if someone is actually out to get you.’.

Without any history of his own, he began trying to find meaning in the seemingly random world around him, turning him into a lifelong conspiracy theorist.  When the Wayne Academy offered  him what he saw as a chance to see the pattern behind the ebb and flow of all reality, he jumped at the chance.

Powers: Urban Shaman – A extension of his Zen philosphy, Vic is beginning to develop the ability to commune with the 'heart' and 'soul' of any large city, as if it were a person.  He can frequently get help by offering stream-of-consciousness improv poetry as incantations.

Cities know everything that happen within them (barring cloaking effects). They can provide clear portents when supplicated. For instance, a dripping fluid could form an arrow pointing toward what the shaman is looking for, or a long crack could appear in the pavement leading the supplicant to a specific place.
Vic is in touch with chthonic energy – known as ley lines, chi, earth forces, etc.. In his view they are channelled through large cities rather than, say, megalithic alignments or ponds with crooked bridges. If he’s present at a major nexus (such as a major Hong Kong building built to act as a feng shui node, Stonehenge, etc.) he will soak chi in and become even more dangerous.

Spiritual Combat (Astral Projection) - Vic can meet other shamanic types in a sort of spirit combat. This is feasible as long as both fighters will have some type of astral projection ability.
The fight is invisible in the physical world. The only thing onlookers can notice is that the two fighters must speak truthfully to each other whilst the spirit fight rages on. The loser must either surrender or flee, and seems to have no choice in the matter.  Beyond duelling, astral projection can be used to spy around. Vic has to physically touch a building to see it from the spirit plane, but once he does he can see and hear everything that goes inside, have his invisible spirit form move closer to observe something, etc.
Vic can also operate machinery from the spirit plane. For instance he could fight men physically and at the same time spiritually activate nearby elevators or water sprinklers.

The spirit plane further touches the realm of the dead. Sage uses this to commune with and contact the recently deceased who are prevented from moving on. For a spirit to linger on seems to require exceptional circumstances, though.

Special Qualities:Vic is passionate about journalism, justice and finding the answer to the ultimate question: "What's REALLY going on?".  His harsh upbringing, martial arts training and 'true warrior spirit' has helped him to forge an iron will.

Abilities: Victor is a dedicated martial artist, studying akido and kung fu.  He is a skilled gymnast and acrobat having applied himself to these disciplines in high school and college but he is not an Olympian by any measure.  His time in Fagin's orphan gang has given him some skill at picking pockets and locks, although he is by no means an expert.    His interest (some say obsession) with conspiracy theories,  coupled with his journalism training have made him a skilled investigator and a tenacious sleuth.  He is skilled with computers and has hacked into government websites more than once.

Special Equipment:  Psedoderm Mask - Victor has discovered Pseudoderm (an artificial skin replacement) and the adhesive that affixes it to human skin.  The adhesive has the additional ability to alter the colour of specially treated organic materials, like clothing and hair, explaining Victor's altered appearance when acting as the Question.

Limitations/Weaknesses: Victor can be easily led by by anyone who plays on his fixation on conspiracies.  He is, after all is said and done, just a human.

Ons & Offs: Ons - Women who understand his conspiracies, large breasts, bikini waxing, oral sex (both giving and receiving)

Offs - Drunk women, women who 'look like boys', anal sex (both giving and pegging), bullies

Name: Valerie Quinn
Codename: Color Theory
Age: 19
Parents: Unknown
Species: Human
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Lesbian
Enrollment: Reformed
Appearance: Long bleach blonde hair, gray skin that can change colors. Likes to dress up in flashy clothes.
Faceclaim:

History:
Valerie was born with gray skin, something the doctors could not explain. Her parents, who didn’t really want a child in the first place decided to drop her off at a fire station. She was put into an orphanage, with a lot of other kids. It was a place that did not be kind to weak people. Normally she would have to learn early how to defend herself, but apparently her body was super durable, so when other people at the orphanage would hit her, it would end up with them hurting themselves. She would later figure out that this was connected to her gray skin tone.

So with the help of her super durability, she managed to take over as the boss of all the other kids, having them run scams which they would pay her a percentage of, or pay her protection money. She did not really do this because of malice, but rather because it was the only way she knew how to survive. The weakest kids she would take under her own wings, making sure they wouldn’t be bullied or used by others.

Eventually, she was kicked out of the orphanage, because of her age. But by then she had already established her own sort of gang. They would run scams, rob stores, and even some banks here and there. People could pay them for protection. It was during this time she figured out how to change her own skin color and the new powers that came with that.

One day, her apartment was stormed by the police, and she was taken into custody. Apparently, one of her gang members had wanted the top position themselves and sold her out. So she was put in jail for her crimes. It was during this time that The Wayne Academy contacted her lawyers, working out a deal on how she could be able to attend the school instead of jail and give her a chance for redemption. A chance that she took.

Personality:
Valerie is very calculating. Having grown up in a “dog eat dog”-world, she has a problem with trusting people, but have no real problem using them for her own benefit.
She has a soft spot for the weak ones that can’t protect themselves.

Powers:
Valerie can change her skin color, and each new color comes with a new power. She is still finding new colors to this day, but the current ones are:

 • Light Gray: This is her default color. She gains superhuman durability.
 • Dark Gray: She gains superhuman strength.
 • Light Blue: She gains the ability to fly.
 • Yellow: She gains the ability to control gravity in a 10-meter radius around her.
 • Light Green: She gains the ability to regenerate her own body.
 • Red: She gains the ability to shoot fireballs from her hands.
 • Purple: She gains the ability to shoot electricity from her body.

When she changes color, she loses the ability to the previous power until she changes back to that color again.

Abilities:

Decent hand-to-hand combat.  Knows how to fight.
She has a good sense of money, how to make them, how to grow them etc.

Limitations/Weaknesses:
She can only control one power at a time. One example of this is that if she wants to hit someone with superhuman strength, she will most likely break her hand, since she won’t have her super durability.

Ons & Offs: See signature.

BlueOrange

A superhero game set in the DC Universe with an emphasis on original characters. We use our Discord and ‘big group’ subforum to run our group with much less centralized authority than many other GMed games. When some of our players were intimidated by threads that blazed forward at impossible speeds (10 posts a day!) we introduced SLOW threads: these threads have a speed limit, and they help us to keep our highly valued writers -even the ones who have a life outside the game and can’t spend 12 hours a day posting!

We set out to write a game that facilitates smut and silliness, that can also be taken seriously. We seem to have succeeded. We have a plan for metaplot, and we’ve seeded clues about a mystery or two.  DCendents is simultaneously a collection of one shots (anyone can create a thread, so long as they protect the sacred timeline), a set of group scenes, and a Discord community. We use Discord extensively to chat with each other, develop concepts, and to do ‘consultation threads’. Our OOC chat tends towards the flirtatious.

We’ve found that people who we enjoy recruiting are good at expressing an appreciation for the players around them, and are willing to put forward a vague concept if they don’t necessarily have everything sorted out yet.

Conversely, if you’re a person who feels confident that you understand what others are thinking without needing to be told, then we’d like to encourage you to look elsewhere. (We may or may not be incredibly obvious, but we enjoy being treated as if our minds are mysterious and surprising.)

In terms of the character population, the game is a paradise for nymphomaniac lesbian characters, and characters who want to be seduced by nymphomaniac lesbians. We didn’t set out to exclude male characters, but we have found that they have a more difficult time: big-muscled men with lots of money and gadgets seem to leave our ladies cold, and we haven’t (yet) achieved a viable population of boys who prefer boys.

In terms of relationship types, the diversity is brilliant. We have romantic relationships, bondage, discipline, sadism and masochism available to those who are looking for it (noting that our sadism and masochism tends towards the emotional rather than gory or violent).

Our writers are among the best on E. Many of them have run group games in the past, or are running their own games right now. It gives us an amazing depth of experience we can draw on, and we regularly consult the community on things that will have an impact (like this ad). The feedback makes us better, and if there’s anything we pride ourselves on as GMs, it’s our ability to maintain a clear vision while also facilitating creative freedom.

Please hit us up if you’d like to discuss concepts, or meet people on the discord. Thanks to the magic of a Big Group subforum, it’s not too hard to have a look at our threads and check things out for yourself, either!

BlueOrange

Had a chat with Kara and we agreed that participation in our discord probably isn’t optional when it comes to truly being part of the game.

Certainly, the people who have the best time writing with us are also the ones sharing jokes or saucy pictures or hugs on the Discord. If you’re a person who doesn’t Discord, then you’re likely to end up feeling like an outsider. Which, OK, maybe you’re genuinely cool with that? But if not, think of the Discord as compulsory, please.

Name: Emily Thorne
Codename: Light & Shadow
Age: 19
Parents Irrelevant
Species: Human
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Lesbian
Enrollment: Self proclaimed Reformed (Recruit)
Appearance: 5’4 / 165cm.
Faceclaim:  Emma Dumont

History:
Emily grew up in a wealthy family that was loving and caring. She had everything she ever needed, and she loved it.

One day, when she was eight, her powers started manifesting. No one knew why, but her family tried to hide it while they tried to contact the appropriate people who might be able to help out.

So Emily was left to her own devices, trying to figure out how her powers worked, and what they could be used for. While many kids dream about becoming superheroes and solving crimes, Emily dreamed about becoming a supervillain with the goal of world domination. There is just a few problems with that plan, like how she hasn’t done a single bad thing in her life, she is very obedient and helpful. She is also unable to be mean to someone.

Eventually, her parents managed to get in contact with the Wayne Acadamy and she got an invite.

Personality:
She is a kind and gentle soul, but tries to play herself as confident and domineering — which often fails.

Powers:
Emily’s powers come in two:
 • Light: She can create bright light and shoot light beams from her hands.
 • Shadow: She can slip into and hide in Shadows that she can see, without people noticing that she is there.
This is the powersets she has discovered on her own, but there might be more, maybe the school will help her unlock her potential.

Abilities:
She is school-smart, having had tutors her whole life, so she is good at studying mundane school subjects.

Being able to taste what kind of tea something is, and if it is good or bad quality.

Reasonable athletic. Been rowing for a few years.

State champion in croquet.

Special Equipment: Big trustfund from her parents.

Limitations/Weaknesses:
She has a normal human physique and can get knocked out pretty easily.

Ons & Offs: See signature.
She is very submissive but will try to play it as if she was a dom in the start and fail miserably.

Captain Whitebread

Name:Sonja Winters
Codename:Plastique aka Sugar Baby
Age: Unknown - she can look any age she chooses (preferring the 18-26 range)
Parents Unknown
Species:Unknown
Gender:Variable (Usually presents as female)
Sexual Orientation: Pansexual
Enrollment: Reformation.
Appearance:
Faceclaim: Various

History: It took a while for the authorities to catch up with Plastique.  She'd been playing the Sugar Baby card, attaching herself to rich old men and living in luxury until they died.  She didn't want any inherited property; she never fought when the family disputed the will and quickly moved on to her next mark. Her goal seemed to be comfort, rather than property.  The thing was, she'd been doing it since the early 1900s.  Her mistake was going after Bruce Wayne, who was able to figure out what she really was and arranged to have her  captured.

She doesn't remember much of her past; it's a blur. She's agreed to attend Wayne Academy, as much to try and recover her memory as to straighten herself out.

Personality:Sonja is sarcastic, vivacious and doesn't see the point in not enjoying life to the fullest.  She has a vast library of shapes to chose from and doesn't see the problem with assuming the shape of someone in order to exploit the benefits that come with that shape.  Currently she sees people as tools but she's agreed to attend therapy sessions in order to change that attitude.

Powers: Shapeshifting: Plastique can take the shape of anyone she's seen.  This includes their voice but if she is not familiar with their mannerisms, close friends can detect the difference quickly.  If the shape included physical traits (gills, wings or retractable claws) Plastique can make use of these.  She cannot otherwise copy powers.  This includes the creation of clothing that can be temporarily discarded (they will eventually disintegrate and rejoin Plastique).

Liquid Form: Plastique can assume a liquid form that allows her to move through very narrow openings as well as climbing up walls and across ceilings.

Special Qualities: Plastique is a natural mimic and, after studying someone closely for at least a week, will have a good chance of copying that person well enough to fool associates.

Abilities: Plastique can speak nine languages (English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Cantonese, Bantu and Hindi) but can only sing in Italian.

Special Equipment: NA

Limitations/Weaknesses:Plastique cannot assume a shape that requires a mass of over two hundred and fifty pounds and cannot assume animal shapes.  Extreme cold makes it difficult to change shape and extreme heat makes it difficult to hold a physical shape and forces Plastique into her liquid form.

Ons & Offs: Feel free to link your thread or make a write up for this character here.

Plot Seeds: Optional, but if there are specific story threads you'd like to write out let us know here!

Wyatt

Name:  Willa Fisk

Codename: Princesa

Age: 20

Parents Vanessa and (presumably) Wilson Fisk

Species: Human

Gender: Female

Sexual Orientation: Pansexual

Enrollment: Reformation

Appearance: Willa stands 5’7” on the rare occasion she isn’t sporting expensive, custom crafted four inch heels.  Blessed with curves upon curves, Willa has a long mane of light brown hair, often with highlights that set off her aquamarine hued eyes and the delectably arcing lips.  With a wardrobe of designer clothing that is worth more than the GDP of several small European principalities, and yet, other than a few favorites she rarely wears anything twice.

Faceclaim: Elizabeth Gillies

History: Willa was born in Monaco when her Mother was living abroad in what was a self-described recovery period from an attack upon her life.  Supposedly rescued from her near death from Bullseye’s vicious attack, the rumor and official story is that Daredevil saved Vanessa from the ruins of a destroyed building, while there remain constant rumors that Vanessa was rescued by Deathstroke and that Willa is truly Slade Wilson’s daughter, rather than that of Wilson Fisk.  DNA testing has proved inconclusive in part because Vanessa’s own genome had been ravaged and rearranged by an earlier carcinogenic attempt to assassinate Vanessa carried out by Ra’s al Ghul.

Settling into the background while her brother Richard (called Little Dickie by Willa) was set up as the heir apparent to his Father’s empire, then allegedly died, then returned to attempt (futilely) to compete with Kingpin as Schemer (literally the lamest super name ever), then onto being Black Rose and yada yada, Willa was attending the finest preparatory schools and academies across Europe, constantly threatened with being expelled for her manipulative and dangerous behavior.  However, each time the school backed down and the Headmaster, Headmistress or Dean resigned shortly thereafter while under investigation for their own wanton peccadilloes or financial improprieties that had suddenly come to light.

Willa advanced rapidly through her studies in the areas of history, business, economics and political science and attended schools from Vienna to Berlin and Oslo to Rome.  In time her Mother moved back to the states, with Willa following a few years later at age 17 after graduating University at that prodigious age and began working with private tutors in NYC upon her arrival.  She attended a prestigious summer camp program for intellectually gifted students held by NYU and by invitation only, befriending Payton Prince, one of the many people that the charismatic Willa has ‘collected’ in her lifetime.  To avoid media scrutiny, Willa used her Mother’s maiden name of Mariana as her surname during that time. Since turning 18, Willa publicly took her Daddy’s name and became the celebrated debutante Willa Fisk, her true identity and family connections suddenly known and well-publicized.

Attending NYU, in two years Willa earned Master’s degrees in both Economics and International Business, with a certificate in public relations and is only a few credits shy of a law degree.  While attending NYU Willa somehow found time to form her own band, The Black Dahlias, which she fronted with her powerful voice and sensual stage presence and played to packed houses all over the city, even cutting a record before.  After another spectacular failure by, and the (fourth) alleged death of her brother, Willa had to leave the band and put on hold completion of her law degree to take over as the new COO and face of Fisk International, the legitimate front through which Wilson Fisk washed dirty cash from his mor nefarious businesses and criminal pursuits.

Unlike her consistently unreliable or trustworthy older brother, Willa quickly proved her allegiance to her Father by taking the heat for his involvement with an international arms deal busted by the Feds with the help of Daredevil.  The only witness was the arms dealer himself who turned state’s evidence but was found dead without a single mark or discernible cause of death other than a deeply sated smile and a bit of lipstick on his face, just before trial.  Rather than risk moving forward with trial and his newly named heiress apparent Willa doing time in prison, her Father convinced her to accept a plea deal that requires her to attend and complete a full course of education at the Wayne Academy in order for her criminal record to be expunged only upon graduation.

Personality: Willa can be charming, disarming and ruthlessly ambitious all in the same breath.  Some would call her spoiled and privileged, if they weren’t deathly afraid of being sued into poverty or worse by a team of lawyers at her disposal…and that would be getting off light in her eyes.  Incredibly hard working and studious in her prior studies, it is yet to be determined what she makes of her new academic adventures.  If there is a deal to be made, a market to be exploited or a wanton perversion to be sated, one can surely find Willa’s untraceable influence all over it.

Powers: Unlike dear, departed big brother Richard, Willa did inherit her Father’s immense strength and extreme resistance and resilience to injury, illnesses and most toxic substances (including street and prescription drugs and alcohol that she can consume in quantities that would kill an elephant).  Quite to the contrary when she consumes such things, if she desires it, Willa’s kiss can have effects on others from delivering a feeling of utter ecstasy to causing one to fall into a quick and painless coma or endure a torturously drawn-out and horrifically agonizing death.

And she is rich, ridiculously rich.

Special Qualities: A willingness to do whatever it takes to achieve and attain any and every goal she desires for herself drives Willa to outwork, out think and outmaneuver any obstacle in her path, and to break every rule and law needed to quicken the speed with which that happens.

Abilities: Willa is a genius in her chosen fields of study (economics, international business, public relations and law) as well as a skilled singer and songwriter.  Rumors abound, fueled by those who would see her Father undone and his business empire destroyed, that scientific analysis of Willa’s concert footage will demonstrate that her singing voice has siren-like abilities that allow her to influence large groups of people to follow her wishes even when those go against their own self-interests.  However, these claims, whether true or not (and they are assuredly true), have never been reliably reproduced by forensic or academic acoustic researchers just like the inconclusive nature of her DNA sequence testing, or perhaps because of her rather uniquely recombinant genes.

In fights, Willa is a skilled kickboxer, but usually defers to her true nature as knockdown drag out brawler just like her Daddy, it just feels more satisfying that way.

Special Equipment: Willa wears two platinum rings, one on each hand, which are actually nanotech weapons systems that despite their fanciful sounding technological basis are most often used to create either daggers or the nanotech equivalent of brass knuckles…and on the more fun side of things, can be combined to create all sorts of creative bindings and, shall we say, toys.

Limitations/Weaknesses:  Despite her unusual DNA and resilient, powerful and uniquely gifted mind and body, Willa is very human and can be overcome, overwhelmed and killed, though not easily.  She ages at a rate only slightly slower than other mortal humans, and other than a strong will and drive to succeed has no other protection against metal or magical attacks.  Her overall strength is not a full match for her Father given his immense size and girth compared to her own more feminine figure, though pound for pound she is possibly stronger proportionately than her Dad.

Ons & Offs: Willa has far more ons than she does offs, though fucking in the shower is about the only sexy thing she associates with bathrooms.  Please reach out and ask and I will do the same on any extreme or quirky kinks and fetishes.  Creatively, sensually and powerfully dominant, Willa oft enjoys an excellent mindfuck as much or more than the physical act itself.

Plot Seeds: Willa’s Daddy has plenty of enemies and they are welcome to try to take their shot at her, but be very certain it will be only one shot and then it is her turn.
Is her brother truly dead this time, or will he reappear in some ridiculous, but dangerously unstable new form once again?
Rocking and rolling is Willa’s one true love and she may look to form and front a new band on campus, because why not?
Need some cash?  Willa is always willing to lend a hand and a few grand, at five points a week, for friends.
"Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who could not hear the music.”

Name: Emma Frost
Codename: The White Queen
Age: 24
Parents: Unknown
Species: Human
Sex / Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Whatever is necessary to secure her goals
Enrollment: Teacher
Appearance: Kenzie Scott

History:
Emma Frost has retreated from the world and popped up at the Wayne Academy to gather a few good, loyal allies she can trust. She sees the academy as the perfect place to seduce young, impressionable minds to stand with her in pursuing her own goals.

Personality:
Icy, aloof, and cunning. Emma Frost considers herself above most people because of her mutant powers, which protect her mentally and physically. She's more of a follower than a leader and is not afraid to switch allegiances when a better opportunity presents itself.

Powers:
Omega-Class Telepath – Emma Frost has vast psionic powers. She can read minds and project her thoughts into the minds of others within a roughly 20-mile radius. Frost can also psionically manipulate the minds of others (for example, to make herself seem invisible), and project illusions into them.

Mutant Sense: Emma can also sense the presence of other Mutants within a small radius of herself by perceiving their distinct mental radiations.

Diamond Form: – Emma can convert her entire body into an organic diamond-hard form at will, granting her enhanced speed and superhuman strength (lifting approximately 2 tons), endurance, and a high degree of resistance to bodily harm. Despite this, she can be damaged or even shattered if a projectile strikes a weak point at the proper angle and with sufficient force. The transformation to diamond is virtually instantaneous, and she can remain in that form for an undetermined amount of time until she consciously wills herself back to normal; however, she reverts back to her normal form if she is rendered unconscious. Emma cannot become partially or selectively armored, and her body gains additional mass from a presumable extradimensional source when transforming. In diamond form, she can survive extreme temperatures from 70 degrees above absolute zero (-390 degrees Fahrenheit) to approximately 7362 Fahrenheit before melting. Her diamond body is virtually tireless since it does not produce fatigue-building poisons. While in diamond form, her body possesses light-reflecting and transmitting properties, known as adamantine luster, which suppresses her telepathic abilities. Emma’s diamond body also emits ultraviolet fluoresce, which triggers photons that end up as molecular vibrations. Wakandan Vibranium weakens these vibrations by disrupting her body’s vibrations and slowly reverting her to human form.

Special Qualities:
Her confidence in her appearance has gotten her out of many dangerous situations, including times she's shown off her body to draw her opponent's attention while using her powers to take them down. Frost's mindset about her body being one of her greatest weapons was never clearer than when she revealed to a fellow mutant why she wears sexy costumes and goes out of her way to show off her figure.

Special Equipment:

Limitations / Weaknesses:
Emma severely lacks true combat skills. She's physically an average human outside of her diamond form, and she cannot use her telepathic abilities while in it.

Ons & Offs:

Plot Seeds: – Emma has infiltrated the academy to recruit some of the students into her army. While she doesn’t yet have a grand goal, she knows she needs to build a strong core of powerful heroes and villains around her to accomplish her own ends.

Name: Olivia Kane
Codename: ??
Age: 20
Parents: Amelia and Nicholas Kane
Species: Human
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: usually lesbian, but is flexible in pursuit of her goals
Enrollment: Recruit, father was The Green Goblin but she is breaking from his path
Appearance:

Faceclaim: Liv Morgan/Gionna Daddio

History: Olivia comes from an important family. Her father, Nicholas Kane, ran his industrial enterprise Kane Chemicals, alongside a supervillain alter-ego, as The Green Goblin. When the original spiderman killed him in battle, she, alongside her older brother Harry, inherited a large share of the company, both being elevated to the board, along with the promise of opportunity within the company should either of them wish to rise up the corporate ladder. Olivia and Harry both grew up with Prince Payton as a family friend, mainly from his success in studies and extra-curriculars with Liv, which she admired, and which Nicholas also respected. In school Prince was like a younger brother to both Liv and Harry.

Liv started studying chemistry and electrical engineering, just like her father, in the hopes of following in his footsteps, and succeeding him one day as the new head of the company. Unfortunately, her brother had a head start, and nearly two years into her studies, her brother had already been named new CEO of Kane Chemicals. As ironic as it was for her to accuse her brother of nepotism, when she really just wanted the role for herself, she nonetheless had a falling out with Harry over exactly this, turning her to darker plans of vengeance and sabotage, to have her brother thrown out, clearing the way for Olivia as the new CEO of Kane Chemicals.

Over the summer Liv was digging into her family and the history of the company, when she discovered the underground network of tunnels from the company's history covering bootleggers. In the tunnels she found her father's secret lab, where he kept the notes and embezzled chemical equipment that he used to make the Goblin's arsenal of explosive weaponry, along with a detailed account of Nicholas's achievements and plans as the Goblin, manipulating criminal and institutional powers to get them out of the way of the growth and progress of the company, and Spiderman's constant desire to cause trouble and get in the way of all of that. Liv became extremely interested in the political savvy of her father, and what he was able to achieve through direct use of his technology, and started trying to use technology and chemical science to augment her College wrestling experience into a fully fledged superhero, someone able to crush the criminal enterprise that never ceases to drain on society with its parasitical violence, racketeering, and black market exploits.

Soon after, Olivia started making public statements that backhandedly associated her brother Harry with a new wave of criminal activity, comparing him to their father, alongside suggestions that the criminal activity was a resurgence of a new criminal mind using The Green Goblin identity. This stirred controversy, and counter-statements from Harry that backhandedly threatened to sue for defamation. Soon The Green Goblin was reported by witnesses, and authorities began to suspect that The Goblin was indeed responsible for many of the criminal events that had been happening recently. As this came out, Harry stopped talking about the topic in public, at the suggestion of lawyers.

Come September, Olivia had left her studies at civilian college, and had signed up to Wayne Academy for guidance and official recognition as a super who had turned away from the dark path of her father, to use her training and his technology for good, including for the good of exposing her brother as The Green Goblin.

Personality:

Olivia is intellectual, and cut-throat ambitious. If she has a goal, or something to prove, she will do whatever she thinks is required of her to achieve that goal. In college she was a paragon student, doing everything she could to learn and succeed in the shadow of her father's legacy. In Wayne Academy, and in competition with her brother, she no longer sees academic ambition as being relevant to her plans. This is war.

Special Qualities:

Her father's lair contained notes describing serums that he was able to use to increase his strength, which Olivia has been trying to research and recreate. She has discovered some performance enhancing effects that she is working with Kane Chemicals to patent for industrial production, but if she has anything close to the full strength and effect of her father's Goblin serum, she hasn't shared this publicly.

She has inside info on Kane Chemicals and The Green Goblin, so if the new Goblin really is Harry, then she may be able to sabotage his technology while he is trying to use it.

Special Equipment:

Olivia was a competent wrestler in the women's division in college, and supplements that with the chemistry and technology of her father, in addition to some of her own innovations. When needed, she can bring and deploy explosives for their intense explosive heat, or for emitting various smokes and chemicals to manipulate her enemies. She also has some prototype drone technology that she can deploy to support her attacks or gain other tactical advantages.

Limitations/Weaknesses:

Olivia is fully human, and relies on chemistry and electronics to augment her combative abilities, and do damage without getting too close to the danger.

Plot Seeds:

Exposing Harry: Can she prove that Harry is The Green Goblin? Is he even The Green Goblin?

Managing reputation: Can she convince her peers that she is really a hero, with her father's legacy, and half of the suite of technologies that her father used?

Tensions with Spiderman: Being at the same school as spiderman, does she understand what the previous spiderman did to her father? Does she think the current spiderman was responsible? Will she be upset with him?

Ons & Offs:

Olivia is highly dominant. She gets so caught up relishing the power and control that she has over her partners or victims, that she sometimes forgets about her own body and pleasure. She will also happily mix interrogation with sexual domination, whether her partner knows that is what she is doing or not.

Although she would hate to be captured and dethroned, made powerless, or otherwise humiliated, I would love to see that happen to her. Similarly if someone else had control over her sexual pleasure, and made her feel things against her control, whether she wants it or not, she would absolutely hate that too, so we should definitely make that happen.

Feel free to check out my Roleplay Requests and Ons and Offs while I check out yours ;)

Name: Scarlett Okamura
Codename: Al13n Qv33n (Also her hacker name)
Age: 19
Parents Hiro Okamura
Species: Human
Gender: Trans Woman
Sexual Orientation: Demisexual, Bi-Curious (likes boys, not so sure about girls)
Enrollment: Reformation
Appearance:

Faceclaim: Futaba Sakura (Persona 5)

History:

Scarlett was born a child of the Toymaster Hiro Okamura. Inheriting his intelligence, her father attempted to keep her on a straight and narrow path since childhood. He had her admitted to the best schools and constantly tutored to try and increase her breadth of knowledge as broadly as possible. He also did not want her to be like he was in his youth as a carefree and wild man and so he enforced strict rules upon her. He wanted to set her up to have a better life than his so that she could prosper. This included things like public media events and an entire team dedicated to pushing and improving her image so that she could become not only a good hero but a popular one too. She had other ideas.

Firstly came the fact that Scarlett’s transition threw a wrench in her father’s plans. Around the age of 14, right around the time her press events truly began to increase in frequency, Scarlett came out to her parents. Although they were not openly hateful towards her they struggled to accept her and her father especially urged her to “reconsider” because of how it might “affect her brand”. This naturally did not go over well with Scarlett and she practically intentionally made things worse. She openly did things that she knew would get bigoted people angry at her and generally dropped her stock with corporations not looking to make an “inclusive” statement. Her popularity among the LGBTQ+ community only grew however as her “brave” actions and words had them rally behind her. In reality she wasn’t really concerned about pushing the envelope on gender politics, she just wanted to make her father angry.

This became a pattern as Rebelling continued to come naturally to Scarlett and school bored her to death. All the institutions that she studied at were stuffy and pissed her off. At the time she didn’t understand the feelings she had were surrounding her identity. However she was (and still is) angry at the world and she lashed out appropriately. She was thrown out of every school she was admitted to and ended up at home as a shut-in until her father finally gave up on her and threw her out on the streets. This unfortunately was leaked to the news and saw reports of Scarlett drop off as she faded into obscurity once she was no longer linked to her father.

Not really interested in answering to any kind of boss at a job, Scarlett began doing hacking work for criminal organizations as a side job to pay her rent. She became incredibly notorious online as one of the best hackers for hire, little did they know she was barely 16 at the time. She committed terrible acts that helped criminals and various unsavory individuals to prosper. Her exploits continued until she got quite deep into ties with the mafia that eventually turned ugly when they told her she would be working solely for them in the future. Not one to be tied down, Scarlett declined, leading to events that unfortunately involved her having to be saved by Bruce Wayne himself as a favor to her father.

Instead of simply having her arrested at the behest of her father and seeing her possible potential Bruce enrolled her in his school to hopefully set her straight. She reluctantly agreed after being told her only other option was prison and that her every expense would be on the school’s dime. Happy to live without concern for rent or food and preferring school to prison no matter how much she enjoys comparing the two she enrolled in the Wayne Academy.

Personality:

Scarlett is generally a very closed and reserved person. She spends most of her time alone and says that she often prefers that when in reality she is a very lonely girl. She has a lot of walls built up and is very scared to have them torn down. If someone bothers her or generally tries to get to know her she is often snarky and sarcastic towards them as a coping mechanism. This is very off putting to most people as she can often come off as rude or unpleasant to be around. She hates the world and thinks it hates her back which has induced a rebellious and defaultly angry state of mind from her. Brat would probably be a good word to describe her. However if someone were to put in the effort to tear down her walls she is actually a very excitable and nerdy girl. With those that she’s comfortable with she can talk for hours about her interests and generally has a good mood. She also is a very good teacher and enjoys helping someone learn something new (especially if she gets to show off). She enjoys praise immensely but you will never catch her admitting that even if you are her friend. She also has an incredible memory and uses it to memorize every detail of the people she meets. This means that if you’re her friend she’ll never miss your birthday or forget that strawberry is your favourite flavor. But if you’re her enemy you better be careful about what you say around her.

Just as a notes Scarlett also has a cat which she's smuggled onto campus named Azuki which she adores and spoils. Do not be mean to Azuki, you will regret it.

Powers:

Technopathy: Scarlett has the ability to breakdown a mechanical, electronic or software based object and understand its component parts purely by observing it. This allows her to understand its form, function and general quality at a glance. She can also easily identify faults, defects or problems with the object. This can include machines, computers as well as software based programs.

Enhanced Vision: Scarlett was born with the ability to change the lenses of her eyes at will. She can activate various different kinds of sight. This ranges from things like X-Ray vision, Thermal Vision, Telescopic Vision, Night Vision and even Electromagnetic Vision. She does not have the ability to use several of the lenses at once however. This means that any lense being used must rely on the range of her natural sight and cannot have its range extended. Scarlett also has trouble reliably keeping her lenses from shifting and so wears special glasses that help regulate her vision.

Special Qualities:

Genius Level Intellect: Scarlett’s intellect level is ridiculously high rivaling even that of some of the smartest characters in the verse. Her ability to understand a topic and the speed at which she can learn it is incredible. However she requires the ability to study it beforehand to have knowledge of the topic. She has knowledge of most if not all school or academic related topics and generally just enjoys scouring the internet for random stuff to learn as she gets bored with topics rather quickly.

Abilities:

Super Gamer: Scarlett is an incredibly skilled and high ranking gamer in almost any game she tries her hand at. This includes things like video games but also extends to board games or even things like chess. Any sort of competition involving problem solving and high level strategy is her bread and butter. This is partially due to her incredible intellect but also because she has the keen ability to focus for long periods of time. As well as the fact that she has an intense competitive drive. She tires of certain games quite quickly as she finds the competition lacking. Especially when it involves solved games like checkers.

Fast Typist: An average person types at about 40-60 words per minute. An experienced programmer or other professional who types often will average about 70-90 words per minute. Those very dedicated can sometimes reach upwards of 150 words per minute at high points. With the amount of time Scarlett has spent working with computers she’s developed a typing speed of well over 300 words per minute.

Multilingual: Scarlett is naturally fluent in Japanese in addition to English because of her father but also has the ability to quite easily learn almost any other language. She doesn't often bother because communicating with others isn't high on her priority list but she has been known to commit insults and slurs in other languages to memory for use over live video game chats. : P

Special Equipment:

“Alien” Drones: Custom designed, built and created drones that Scarlett uses for various purposes. They can be equipped with all sorts of things and generally she pilots them in packs of 3-5. They can be deployed across massive distances and all relay back to her as long as there is no direct interference. They range in size from small tiny drones the size of your thumb to incredibly big ones the size of large dogs. They aren’t indestructible however and even in their most armored and large quantities they can easily be destroyed by super powered individuals or even concentrated gunfire by normal people.

Various Gadgets: This is kind of self explanatory but any gadget you can think of Scarlett can probably produce. She works fast and efficiently and can make less complicated things on the spot as long as she has sufficient materials. More complex tools or gadgets require her to be in her room where she has her setup.

Protective Goggles: Whenever Scarlett is doing any kind of work that requires her to leave her room and potentially face a threat she wears a special set of custom goggles she designed. These goggles not only enhance the effects of her natural lenses but also allow her to use them without risk of light exposure.

Custom Built Multi Tool: Scarlett has designed a multi function nanotech tool that can shift and change its form and use at her will. Although it cannot change to be anything larger than what can be reasonably used in two hands, its use cases are essentially endless. It can even transform into mundane objects such as a mirror, a makeup brush or even just a simple pencil.

Traps, lots of Traps: As a general rule Scarlett is afraid of public spaces. One of the only ways she can make herself feel safer is to booby trap the hell out of any room she walks into. This is done almost autonomously by very small drones she has on her person at all times. Most importantly are camera fitted drones which she uses to monitor the exits to the room at all times.

Limitations/Weaknesses:

Just a Girl with a Wrench: Scarlett is very susceptible to any kind of direct attack on her person, especially when she doesn’t have a gadget nearby. She has practically zero combat ability in hand to hand or any kind of magical or otherworldly power. If a super powered person were to actually physically get their hands on her she would be paper. Even simply normal people with any level of combat training would find it quite easy to take her down if they manage to get to her. Quite a big if however.

Enhanced Vision Mean Enhanced Blinding: Scarlett is much more susceptible to direct attacks on her vision because of her powers. Especially when she is actively using any of the special lenses in her eyes. This means even moderately bright lights like a floodlight aimed directly at her could be cripplingly blinding to her. Not only causing intense pain but also potentially leaving her without vision for several minutes.

Ons & Offs: O/Os

Plot Seeds: I’d enjoy it if people weren’t completely put off OOC by Scarlett being an ass hole to their characters. I have no problem if IC people dislike her but please don’t avoid scenes with her cause she calls YCs names. She’s supposed to be a slow burn character that develops into a better person throughout her story and her being a bitch in the beginning is intentional. I promise she’ll get better lmao. If anyone has an interest in cracking her shell however I’d be all for that and you’d honestly be doing me a service by helping me develop her. The gooey inside is worth it, I swear!

Rainbae

Name: Luna (No last name)
Codename: Doesn’t have one yet (But really really wants to earn one)
Age: 18
Parents Wolves? Who knows.
Species: Meta-Human
Gender: Trans Woman (This is what she’s told its called)
Sexual Orientation: Pansexual (Although she doesn’t fully understand the concept)
Enrollment: Recruit
Appearance: She's about 5'8'' and her tail is exceptionally fluffy. Very toned body. Bright yellow eyes. Her hair is almost always knotted and wild. Always wearing a scarf Hector gave her. Enjoys urban street fashion as it's very different to what she grew up with.
Transformation

Faceclaim: Just some art

History:
The truth about Luna’s birth is sketchy at best. She remembers parents but nothing about their builds or faces. She remembers having a home but not how she left it. Either way by the time she came to real sentience she was living alone in a forest, hunting things on her hands and knees to survive, barely scraping by. That was when a young boy named Hector found her. The child lived with his family deep in the forest in an old log cabin. His father was an Arborist who was tasked with keeping tabs on the health and longevity of the forest. And his mom was a writer. With both parents busy day in and out Hector found himself wandering the forests alone rather often. He came upon the girl starving and wounded. She was a sight many would run at. Her feral nature was evident to see and she spoke no language the boy knew. She grunted and growled at him and generally tried to look menacing, baring her fangs and her claws. But Hector was a kind boy and so he reached out and offered her some of his lunch and it was a done deal from there.

Luna immediately adhered to the boy like glue and the two became deeply close friends. It was Hector who gave her the name Luna in the first place and from there the pair were bonded and became inseparable. The boy became like her brother who taught her many things and Luna filled his formerly boring days with cheer. One of the topics he taught her was about his favourite subject, super heroes. With not much to do out in the forest the one thing his parents brought him from town every now and then was comics. Every time both the children would eagerly await their parents return and immediately grab the books from Hector’s Mom before she could even make it to the house. They’d lay on the floor in front of the fireplace and the two would act out the scenes in the books. Luna didn’t always remember to be careful with her strength at times, often breaking things in the house and generally just being a ruckus. But with Hector she was always gentle. The boy was ecstatic when Luna continued to develop into their adolescence and eventually teenage years and her powers began to blossom. He told she had to be a hero and Luna felt herself wanting to live up to those expectations. And she would get her chance soon enough.

The duo had decided long ago that they would share Hector’s birthday considering Luna’s was a mystery. And so on the day of their 18th birthday right as they were about to blow out the candles a large explosion rocked the skies above their small quaint forest. They rushed from the home to see Superman and a villain both fighting in the skies. Their fight was chaotic and it began spiraling towards the small town the family lived outside of. With zero time to think and an inspiring speech by Hector followed by a slap on the back she was off. Luna bounded through the forest towards the town at many times the speed of her family. When she arrived she wanted to join the fight, Superman however directed her to simply evacuate the townspeople instead. When meeting your idols many things can occur but the one thing that is always true, is that you’ll do whatever they say.

Every single townsperson survived that day and Superman himself thanked Luna for her assistance. With their town decimated alongside most of the forest the community had a lot of rebuilding to do. However all of them, as well as Hector and Luna’s family all urged Luna to take the offer that Superman extended to her that day to attend Wayne Academy. Luna agreed, with only one stipulation. She refused to go unless Hector followed her to the city. And so with Hector enrolled in a more mundane College within Gotham Luna took her deserved place at Wayne Academy.

Personality:
Luna has a bubbly and excitable personality. She chases her emotions and pursues them like crazy until immediately bounding off to the next thing that caught her interest. This can be a little chaotic for some people but she’s almost always smiling and having a good time. She’s very naive and gullible but also exceedingly curious and eager to learn. She has an endless interest in making friends and isn’t fully up on the difference between friendship and romance. She’s touchy and possessive and takes even light threats to those she loves very seriously. She’s very forgetful and scatterbrained so keeping her on task is difficult but if you’re able to keep her focussed she’s the most determined person there is. She has an incredible infatuation with heroes and hero culture in general and holds the idea as monolithic and idealistic. She wants to become like her idols and save people but she unfortunately has to learn how to understand them first. She loves to tell stories even if they tend to drag on and get a little bit winding. Her sense of justice is strong however and her heart is golden.

Powers:
 • Wolf-like Physiology
 • Superhuman Strength, Speed, Stamina, Agility, Durability, and Dexterity
 • Incredibly attuned Superhuman Senses, even more than those of most powered individuals
 • Razor sharp Claws and Teeth which she can regrow
 • She also has the ability to communicate with other canines although no ability to control them
 • Luna has also recently developed an ability to increase her primal nature and transform into an almost werewolf-like form. All of her powers as well as her senses are increased considerably in potency during this transformation and more specifically her durability increases tremendously. She has a hard time controlling herself during it however and often finds her animalistic whims to be much stronger.

Special Qualities:
Super Hero Junkie: Luna has an incredibly strong sense of justice and dedication to helping people. She wants nothing more than to be the next Superman and be hailed as a hero. Both to sate her own dream and to earn the praise of her brother. She will never falter in things like daily training and studying in her classes, even if she doesn't fully grasp the idea of a class just yet. Additionally praise from other hero hopefuls is not exactly what she wants but even more desired by her than that of the general populace and she has a drive to earn it. She might be misguided at times but she wants people's admiration so adamantly she can perform incredible feats to get it.

Abilities:
Hunter: Alongside her incredibly high natural senses Luna is a trained hunter. She spent a lot of time catching dinner for their family to cut down on food costs in the household and it shows. Her skills are not only the result of her innate abilities but of years of training. She is in tune with natural environments and knows how to read them. This extends to a deep knowledge of herbs and other natural edible plants. She also knows what flora to avoid when in the woods. She finds a lack of use for these abilities while in the city and with her meals prepared for her every day but she finds time to escape out into the wilderness from time to time. She is also a very good fisherman, although she seldom uses a rod.

Hero Nerd: Luna is completely obsessed with heroes, specifically those in the Justice League as it was the comic she read the most often as a child. She has an insanely deep knowledge of the exploits of these characters to the point of encyclopedic. She will talk the ear off of anybody about them and is generally just a big dork about it. This does come in handy to her however as she uses this knowledge as the basis for her decision making. Whenever faced with a decision on how to handle a situation she often asks herself, “What would Superman do?” and then takes that path. Curiously enough this has served her well in the past especially when fighting baddies. (Fair warning I am not this person IRL so I will try my best to actually portray this well but just go with me pretty please.)

Special Equipment:
Luna doesn’t really have anything like this. Maybe something to explore?

Limitations/Weaknesses:
Luna is both weak to magical or energy based attacks. Besides this she’s also untrained and naive. She falls for feints, she doesn’t understand when she’s being led into a trap and she generally can be fooled very easily. Most importantly Luna struggles to tell friend from foe. To her, any person carrying a firearm is a bad guy and you better not be walking the streets on your way to the ski lodge in a mask because she’ll take you down too. Anything that is tropey and stupid that can be found in comics she believes as fact. Also chocolate : P

Also notably Luna's surrogate brother Hector is in fact in Gotham and a completely mundane human being. If someone wanted to get at Luna they could very easily target her brother instead. She'd basically completely fold if his life was in danger. She's impulsive but something different triggers in her brain when Hector is involved and would never even try to save him if it could risk his life.

Ons & Offs: Besides my regular O/Os which I’ll still link here I’m looking to do a lot of pet play with Luna. She’s a bit wild and unkempt as she is now. Chaotic and excitable. I’d like it if she could be trained pretty heavily into being a good well behaved puppy. Throw a collar on her and leash her so she doesn't do something stupid. Domesticate the fuck out of her please.

Also uh I know I gave her an Anthro form but I’m not doing any sexy stuff with her in that form. It’s a part of her character but I have 0 interest in writing anything even closely related to smut involving it. Not that I won’t include it in normal scenes but yea I don’t do the deep furry stuff.

O/Os

Plot Seeds:

 • I’d like to explore a scene where Luna comes upon a crime and tries to stop it but just ends up making things worse and another hero needs to step in to fix things.
 • Another one is what the heck is happening with her and her transformation. It’s a new part of her powers that she hasn’t explored much.
 • She currently lacks a hero name as well as some kind of costume. I’d love it if someone would be willing to help her with that kind of stuff. She has no idea how having an “image” works and so all of that would need to be explained to her.

Name: Jas'n
Codename: Bluefire
Age: 18
Parents: Dick Grayson (Nightwing) and Princess Komand'r (Darkfire)
Species: Half Tamaranean Half Human
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Straight(-ish?)
Enrollment: Legacy
Appearance: Jas'n is 5'7" lean and muscular build, bright blue hair and matching eyes.  He has a smattering of tattoos on his shoulder and upper back in Tamaran that boast to his family line and their dominance in combat

Faceclaim: (Is AI generated OK?)

History: Jas'n is the spawn of a moment of weakness in Dick's early career.  He was raised on Tamaran in secret by his mother until recently dropped off at the school.  As part of the royal family on his homeworld he was spoiled and brought up knowing nothing but luxury.  His father didn't know of his existence and his mother couldn't be bothered raising him, so he's had a very lonely life. Taught the arts of manipulation and deceit, and lazy in developing his powers he was brought here in part because his mother didn't want to expend the resources on him and to develop his full potential.

Personality:  Jas'n has never had any friends, raised by palace staff.  He's used to being alone with his thoughts, getting his way and having everything done for him.  The epitome of lazy and spoiled.  Deep down he craves some direction and a strong hand to guide him.

Powers: Being half Tamaranean he can absorb and control ultraviolet radiation, but to a lesser extent than his mother and Aunt.  When his abilities manifest he glows with a blue crackling energy and can fire blasts, perform feats of strength and is more resistant to damage than a normal human.  The full extent of his abilities have yet to be tested, as have feats of mastery like flight.

Special Qualities: He has trouble interacting socially, especially with those his own age, since his near isolation with older palace staff whom were his loyal servants.

Abilities: Jas'n is fluent in several cosmic languages, as well as highly advanced technology of Tamaran

Special Equipment: Tamaran power gauntlets that help him control his blue blasts.

Limitations/Weaknesses:  Very little control over his powers of confidence.  Limiting exposure to ultraviolet rays can render him powerless.

Ons & Offs: Jas'n has zero sexual experience. He secretly craves a strong woman to tell him what to do and show him all the wonderful pleasures of intimacy.  He's a closet sub, and perhaps has no idea.  He isn't attracted to men, but may curiously experiment with transfemales.  Secret turn ons include bondage, femdom, orgasm control/denial, CFNM

Plot Seeds: None at the moment

Everlasting Starfall

#78
Name: Jeo Young-soo / 저영수
Codename: Emerald Eternal / The Eternal / The Eternal Emerald (and probably a few other variations of this).
Age: 200+
Species: Human
Gender: Male (can turn into female)
Sexual Orientation: Straight (when male), Lesbian (when female)
Enrollment: Staff (Medical)
Appearance: During the usage of his powers or strong emotions, his eyes might turn emerald, and emerald vines might appear like tattoos on his skin.
Faceclaim:
Male: Lee Joon-gi (이준기)
Female: Seo Yea-ji (서예지)

History:
Young-soo was born in the Great Joseon Dynasty (Nowadays Korea) in the early 1800’s. His family lived in a small isolated village in the deep forest. Everyone in the village worshiped the Eternal Tree — a big tree that was growing in the middle of a lake. It was said that The Eternal Tree Spirit could heal people, or in some very rare cases grant people abilities.

When a child in the village was five years old, they were presented to the tree and underwent a ceremony in the lake. If the Eternal Tree was going to grant any powers, it was now. Most people got nothing, some had smaller abilities for healing, or making barriers. There were stories about people getting healing or barrier powers that were much stronger, but that was years past.

Young-soo had his ceremony like every other child, but something different happened. When he entered the lake, the water started to turn an emerald green, with the origin coming from the Tree itself. Later they discovered that he had been granted strong abilities in both healing and barrier-making. Something that was a big boon for the whole village.

And so life went on. Young-soo would be the protector and healer of the village: against other animals, other humans, and disease. When he was around 25 years old, they noticed something else, however, he stopped aging. It seemed his own strong self-healing abilities had decided that he was in his prime and that his body growing older would just hurt him. At first both him and his family were overjoyed, but as the years went on it would seem more like a curse than something great. Young-soo outgrew everyone he knew, his family, his friends, and eventually his village.

With his village gone and everyone he once knew, he decided to leave the isolation and try to integrate into society. First in other villages, then in bigger towns and cities. He would make a living by pretending to be a doctor but often had to leave town once people figured out his abilities.

Over the years, and with more superheroes and supervillains popping up, he understood that he was not alone and that other people have power also, and have built somewhat of a reputation as a neutral party. He is often contracted for his healing abilities since they are strong, and as long as there is breath, there is life. But also for guarding and defense missions where his barriers can help. If the injury he is healing is very serious, it can take a big toll on him, making him bedridden in the most serious of cases.

Eventually, he traveled to the US, where he continued his work. During a meeting with some other supers, he got the question if he wanted to get a female body, and he agreed, mostly because he was curious. Once he was transformed he noticed that he had a new ability, he could change back and forth between his original male appearance and the female appearance he had first taken when he transformed into a female. Apparently, him transforming into a female had triggered something with his original powers.

He eventually met Batman and helped him out with a job. He later got contacted and asked if he wanted to work as the head of medical staff for the Wayne Academy, which he agreed to.

Personality: He is kind and helpful. Can come off as apathetic because of his age and not really knowing how to act. This is something he has gotten better with, however.

Powers:

Healing: He has very strong healing powers. As long as the person is alive, he can pretty much heal anything. This includes self-healing that is active at all times (unless he concentrates to repress it). His abilities pretty much keep his body in peak human physique.

Barriers: He can create strong barriers around himself or others. He needs to extend more effort to keep a barrier up that is being attacked.

Transformation: He can switch between a male and a female form. It is always the same two forms.

Abilities:

Languages: Korean, Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese, French, Spanish, English.

Black belt in Taekwando, judo, jiu jutsu, Brazilian jiu jutsu, kendo, iaido.

Very good at finance.

Special Equipment:
Sizable wealth in at least the millions. People are not too sure, since he is a very private person.

He is owed favors from a dozen of supers that he has saved the lives of with his powers.

Limitations/Weaknesses: The more flesh he has to regrow when healing an injury, the more taxing it is. If he overuses his powers he might need to take some bedrest for a few days.

Hit his barriers enough and it will be too much of a strain on his mind. Overuse -> bedrest.

Name:
Darren Waller

Codename:
Omni-Man "Hero of Tomorrow"

Age:
25
Parents:
Amanda Waller x Test Tube

Species:
Meta-human

Gender:
He/Him

Sexual Orientation:
Heterosexual

Enrollment: Recruit
Appearance:
(concept costume artwork)
Faceclaim: Trevante Rhodes

History: Darren Waller, otherwise known as "Omni-Man" is the collaborative effort to create a functionally ideal Supe complete with perfect evolutionary adaptive traits. He is named for and modeled after Amanda Waller's deceased son. He's completely organic and human, unlike Amazo. Rather, his DNA has a sequence which allows him to undergo a near instantaneous evolution of sorts. Embedded in his DNA is the code to replicate the DNA of nearly every hero in existence...potentially.
Darren spent his early life in an underground facility where he was "homeschooled". Amanda and Dr. Ivo wanted to learn from project Amazo so they didn't make the same mistakes. Project Pinocchio centered moreso on the personal and emotional developmental sides of what it takes to create a good Supe. Putting emphasis on the "man" part. As they grew more confident in his development, Darren was given more opportunities to engage with the real world. Hence his recruitment to Wayne Academy.

Personality: Despite the unusual circumstances of his birth Darren is a lot more well-adjusted than you would expect a guy to be with his upbringing, there's some underlying baggage here and there, but he seems mostly normal.

Powers: Darren possesses an Omni-matrix of abilities, he has perfect adaptive DNA which allows him to evolve into virtually anyone. His body undergoes a metamorphic process to adapt to become a carbon copy "match" of their ability, although with some limitations, at most he can only tap into about 80% of whoever he evolves into. He can't run as fast as the flash, He can't fight as good as wonder woman, and he won't be as powerful as superman. He also is very much human, which might be considered a limitation in of itself.

Special Qualities:
Darren's special quality could be considered his lack of bothered-ness, no matter the situation or outcome, he'll maintain composure.
Abilities:  None so far.
Special Equipment: Darren has a smart watch which allows him to focus his perfect adaptive ability trait, it'sjust helpful compendium that gives him a working knowledge of the heroes he's come in contact with in the field.
Limitations/Weaknesses: Human. 80%
Ons & Offs: Haven't gotten around to that yet. Ask me if unsure.
Plot Seeds: Not sure, but open.

#80
Name:  Tanis Eliades

Codename: Theristi (Reaper in English)

Age: 39

Parents Unknown

Species: Human/Psychopomp Goddess

Gender: Hermaphrodite

Sexual Orientation: Pansexual

Enrollment: Faculty (NPC):  Archery/Occult Studies - Arcane Theory and Advanced Occult Defensive Skills

Appearance: Tanis stands 5’9” with an athletically toned and powerful form, feminine yet fierce.  With long dark hair and darker eyes, Tanis’ beauty is exotic and challenging all at once.  She tends towards dressing in clothing that is either pragmatic or seemingly from another time and place, though she will adopt a more ‘modern’ look when it suits her needs and desires.  A red aura surrounds and emanates from Tanis when she invokes the dark powers of the gods from whom she descends, but otherwise she tends towards a less flashy nature.

Faceclaim: Katrina Law

History: Tanis has the barest memories of her family, not even sure if those flashes of memory are real or hers or that of her predecessors.  She was raised on the island of Crete, in the Republic of Greece, her earliest days spent in an orphanage in Sitia there.  The orphanage was organized and run by a Hellenistic society, what might be technically and in some cases literally called a cult, but more truly a collection of cults in the way the term has been used for millennia to describe the followers of the Gods, Goddesses and heroes of Greek mythology.  Hence there was a sense of religious devotion, though nothing like a more modern religion might feel and seem, with the ‘Sisters’ who ran the facility each an acolyte of the deity they felt called to worship and devote their life to.

Educated in an exacting and thorough manner that included learning the modern world and the ancient one, as well as struct and intense physical training, Tanis was unlike many of the others at the orphanage, which in a way made her just like them.  The parentless children in the Sitian orphanage were not merely local urchins, though some were and others not local but arrivals in the small port city by chance or divine intervention and still others sought out and recruited and claimed by missionaries of the Hellenistic Order from across the globe.  Where she was actually born was never known to Tanis, though her features were a mix of eastern and western ones and she heard talk that she had been disowned by her parents for what made her unique at first glance as a child, being a very rare true hermaphroditic newborn.

As she grew older Tanis trained more and more in the steep mountainous regions of Crete’s central range and when puberty hit, Tanis, whose name means simply ‘daughter’ was one of the few who were chosen to continue their studies at the monastic styled temple maintained by the Order deep in the mountains.  Visions began to haunt her sleep, and in time appeared to her waking mind, even as she trained and learned the full history of what were her true people, her long ago ancestors.  One day Sister Phaedra was teaching the story of Artemis and Siproites, the warrior and hunter who chanced upon Artemis’s naked form as she bathed one day amongst in the human world.  Rather than being blinded or devoured by wolves as others were whom had glanced too closely upon a powerful Goddess, Siproites was spared by Artemis while being transformed into a woman so that his presence and gaze upon Artemis’s unclothed beauty could be excused and accepted.

It was the reading of that story, and later tales of Hermes exploits and legendary feats that Phaedra sensed were finding root within Tanis and her training and experiences were curated in a way that drew out certain abilities and connections within Tanis to Artemis, Hermes and Siproites, becoming a skilled archer, hunter and warrior and an ability to both help those whose time was ready to cross over to the afterworld as well as to hunt down those who escaped Tartarus or were set upon the living world by Hades himself, ending their time on earth in some cases and erasing their very existence in others.

Neither hero nor villain, Tanis left Crete and roamed the world as Theristi, some called her Reaper in English speaking lands, protecting life, taking life, doing the work of the gods and goddesses, always willing to accept any consequences or casualties to carry out her divine grant of power and the missions and tasks that power was set to carry out.

And now she had been called to teach, but Tanis knew well that no call to her was ever as it seemed.

Personality: Tanis is pragmatic and disciplined, not lacking in passions or humor, but neither controlled by them.  She does not easily tolerate fools or those who would waste what life and opportunities the Gods have given them.  She is naturally curious, with a thirst for learning whether it be within the pages of a book or scroll or experientially.  A surprisingly excellent cook, the level of a professional chef, she almost seems out of place in her garden and walking through open markets tasting and testing the ingredients she will turn into an irresistible meal, though she most often eats alone, too often she has begun to feel very alone in this modern world that seems both home and foreign to her all at once.

Powers: Tanis has the physical strength, ability and speed of a human Olympic champion in each of those qualities, and is an archer supremely skilled and trained in styles from Greek to Mongol to Native American and modern competition styles.  She can move with incredible stealth day or night, though she is more truly a creature of the darkness when she hunts.  When the challenge calls for more than her human form can achieve, Tanis becomes both God and Goddess, hunter and warrior, and can see and reap souls and carry them to the afterlife or destroy them utterly with the magic that fills her entire being at such times.  She can seemingly necromance the recently deceased, more truly taking command of their dead bodies through their souls that have not yet crossed over, a skill and ability that can turn what is seemingly an utter defeat to her forces into an overwhelming power that her enemies cannot withstand or overcome.

Special Qualities: When a mission or task she divines has been given to her by the Gods, Tanis becomes a zealot and will not rest, eat or drink or bow to pain or injury unless doing so furthers her goals and gains the victory she seeks.

Abilities: Tanis is multilingual and learned in the Occult and dark and arcane magic.  A skilled martial artist capable of fighting in several forms, her swordplay is a deeply underrated ability simply because it cannot match her skill with a bow, but few can.  Capable of living off the land, Tanis can sense which plants can be eaten or that will kill and has few human peers as both hunter and warrior.  She enjoys teaching, but requires students that devote themselves to their studies and whom are to learning the truth of what is being taught.

Special Equipment: Tanis owns an array of bows and blades and her leather and cloth armor will deflect or defeat most blades and spears and offers some protection against ballistic projectiles such as bullets and the like, though far from being bullet proof.  She is rarely fully unarmed and can call both her sword and Greek bow and quiver to her when she needs them.  Small hidden weapons and what some might call gadgets used for things like climbing a sheer cliff face or starting a fire are usually on her person or can be cobbled together from nearby materials.

Limitations/Weaknesses:  Her human form, while strong and fast and agile, is still entirely human and subject to the same mortal dangers that all humans are.  In her Divine Form, Tanis is stronger, faster, capable of dark magics and far more resistant to mental and physical attacks, but channeling the ancient powers from the river Styx, as she does, can also be quite draining and her crimson aura makes her far less stealthy and in ways more single minded and less flexible of mind and thought as those powers course through her.  She has no power over a pure soul or innocent creature and cannot harm them unless their sacrifice will further a divine task Tanis is set upon.

Ons & Offs: Tanis is by nature an inherently physical creature in all the ways and manners that can mean.  While she would not ascribe herself to any particular kinks or sexualized practices, Tanis might well be described as a passionate, powerful and generous top whose sensual favors are not easily earned, but when earned she will not be deterred from fulfilling the deepest needs and most fervent pleasures and desires of both herself and her partner.

Get Ready For Season Two of The Wayne Academy

The GM/DM team would like to tell you about some of the ways the game is getting a boost as it moves into its next Season.

First, there will be a full month open for your characters to post in going forward.  Does this mean we are opening up a full new 30 or 31 days write now?  Does it mean my currently open threads have to close? No and nope.

The way the month of posting possibilities will run is that the current posting period of September 1st – 15th will stay open (though no new threads will be allowed to open in this timeframe) and those existing threads will remain active AND we are opening September 16th – 30th for new threads and stories.  This will continue on until the threads in the first half of the month run their natural courses and close at their own speed, and when they do, we will open up a new half month so that there will always be a full month worth of time to post in, but also keep players and characters from getting too far ahead of their own story lines.

Next, as happens in any and every game, we have had some players drop or take a hiatus from the game.  Their characters will be listed in the character roster as “Lost” and for the upcoming season about to open, their status as missing will be addresses and will be part of game lore and IC knowledge.  If you have a character you are no longer interested in playing at the moment, they can be placed in this status at any time, and likewise, if you want to play them again or players return from hiatus, your ‘lost’ character can be moved back to active and written back into the game.  Just let Kara and Eve know what you want to do and they will work with you to make it happen (when they have time).

Kara remains the game’s owner and founder and one of our two GM’s, joined by Eve (Discord handle) or Everlasting Starfall (E name).  Kara and Eve will handle all things character related from reviewing new characters for approval, handling room/roommate assignments and all of the technical and administrative things that make the trains run on time, so to speak.

Mythril and Wyatt are joining the Game Staff in the role of DM’s or Storytellers, responsible for plotting and planning the larger metaplots and overarching stories in the game, creating things like Social Events (e.g. the Mixer) for open sandbox play of multiple characters and Special Events which are things that happen on or to the campus or characters or both and are part of the IC game experience.  They will also be creating Storyteller NPC’s to play useful roles in GM guided plots and threads that will pop up from time to time.  They are looking for player input and ideas, so reach out to them and let them know what you and your characters are interested in doing, seeing, playing out, etc.

And as always Wayne Academy will largely remain a game where players can and will create their own threads and play out sandbox scenes that can range from everyday interactions to sexiness and romance to smaller player run plots (that may later get woven into the larger fabric of the overall game) and whatever your creative minds can devise, within the game rules of course.  Play at any speed you like as always and work together with your other players to agree on things in player run threads such as plots, locations, setups and player posting expectations and order.  Game Staff will not intervene in player run threads unless they have to for some unusual reason.

Wayne Academy is a school and place of learning, so both Game Staff and players who have created a faculty member can run classroom scenes that are open to all and can provide excellent open style writing and roleplaying opportunities for all students.  An utterly fabulous example of this type of thread is Elizabeth’s Miss Ryalls' history class thread that is open for play to all right now!!  Expect a few more class offerings in the future, just enough to give a flavor of learning and fun for all.

Season Two opens on February 1st in real time.  Expect to see a Special Event occurring early on, plus a Campus Wide News Announcement about some major changes in school administration, an explanation (of sorts) of the missing characters and other major news events that have shaken up campus recently, several Storyteller NPC’s will be joining the fray, and more, as the fun of Season Two gets rolling with in game dates September 16th to the 30th being opened for play starting on February 1, 2024.

In the very short meantime until then, finish up your current story recaps/character status posts of completed and currently ongoing stories for your characters, and reach out to Game Staff with questions, ideas and anything else you can think of!!!

Recruiting for the Game remains very much open, so invite a friend or three to come and visit us, read our great stories and maybe become part of the cast and family here!!

Her mother had ensured that she had plenty of resources to draw from in order to keep herself living comfortably, not to mention that she possessed a lesser version of her mother's ability to manipulate the minds of those around her. A few run-ins with the authorities in Europe prompted her to travel even further from home, which resulted in her making the trip to America.

Once she found herself in the US, she set about learning the full extent of her powers. She expects that with practice and time, they will grow stronger and allow her to control people for longer stretches of time. An attempt to build her own empire quickly fell through and she was given the choice; prison or attending the Wayne Academy as a means of being reformed.

Abilities: Talia is able to read and write Arabic, English, and French. She also has a gift for negotiations and diplomacy without the use of her powers.

Limitations/Weaknesses: Anything that prevents someone from breathing in her pheromones. Without her power to manipulate people's minds, Talia has the same limits as a normal person.

Plot Hooks: WIP, open to suggestions.
