In any event, I did some thinking and I think I have an idea for my first story, though it has potential for both long and short.  It involves humor, puns, and a dash of serious rivalry done in a hilarious fashion.  That is...if that is something people are interested in?

What if there are two threads for each story?

1. Poll . Post nothing by members in the thread, just the open poll with a saved spot for the plot. Once the poll has a decent count a plot can be entered, and people can sign up. After the story starts, the Poll thread can become the OOC for the story.

2. Story thread to match the poll thread, with link?

I think that's a good idea! I feel like that will keep things more organized.

I have created another short story from the Ninja point of view.


Anyone is free to sign up for either short story!

I know I wrote in the rules that you can only participate in one story at a time. However, considering that we don't have a ton of people participating just yet, I don't mind if someone wants to participate in more than one story right now.

I would at least give priority to people who sign up who haven't participated yet/not involved in a story at the time they sign up.

Oh, as a note for those who haven't seen the update for the writers sign-ups regarding the two new stories:

Pirate POV Writers:  Amaris, open, open, open

Ninja POV Writers:  Levi (?), Lisa2lady, open, open

I plan to leave sign-ups open for at least 3-5 days or until a story has been filled.  If the pirates POV hasn't been filled by then, I'll put you in, Oreo.  ^_^

I just had a thought!

For those of you writing from either the Pirates' or Ninja's point of view, you do NOT have to base it off the opposite story!  What happens in one story has no meaning towards the other one.  For instance, the pirates can be completely different.  The same goes for the ninja!

I think most of you already had that in mind, but clarification is always helpful~
