He can be callous and abrupt much of the time when dealing with people he does not really know and even family members often times feel the acidic barb of his tongue if they fall short of his expectations. He dislikes greatly his mothers family, though he is proud enough of the pureblood ancestry. He simply thinks that there is a screw loose in a few of his cousins and purposefully distances himself from Sorensen and Serena as often as is possible. He dislikes greatly their abuse of power and abhors Sorensen's debauched lifestyle. He has warned his younger brother Troy from the two and though Serena did attempt to 'mess' with Troy in his first year, Caius even though merely a year beneath the Shalamane twin, stood up to her and warned her off. She maintains of course that it is merely because he is family that she let him get away with talking down to her but even as Head girl she took no liberties with any of them. Caius is looking forward to his final year at Hogwarts, he has managed to get through it relatively unscathed. No ridiculous heart break or girlish entanglements as others had and no stains upon his academic achievements or upon his time at Hogwarts.

He excels in theoretical studies and is always keen to learn something new. How did she/he react at sorting? He was a bit speechless because his parents were Slytherin and his older brother was sorted to Slytherin too but he wasn't at all disappointed and trusted in the ancient magic of the old hat. Are her/his parents former house mates of this house? People liked him instantly because he seemed to have a magnetism about him that was swathed in self confidence. He was polite and fun to be around, he studied hard and played harder, though his studies always came a step before any real play time. As much as he adored quidditch, he never tried out for the team because he knew that anything quidditch would end up ruling his life. His best friend and first cousin David Scroow also in the same year as him but of Slytherin house, was part of the Slytherin house team and that was also another reason that Troy would never try out for the Ravenclaw team. There was no way he would compete in anything against his cousin. They had gone through JWA together as well as going through all their younger years together. He was thrilled of course when David began dating Callidora, he wasn't dating anyone himself but it wasn't for lack of offers. It was simply his third year and NEWTs were the end goal. Girls would be slightly higher on his priority when the summer came around. Unlike his older brother, he likes his mom's side of the family. He gets on fine with them, though he steers clear as often as is possible of the Shalamane twins. He's looking forward to his first year as freshman at University but also because it means that his youngest brother will finally have graduated from JWA and joining them at Hogwarts.

He enjoys magical theory the most and finds muggle studies far more interesting than he ever thought he would. Does he have a favourite professor? He likes three equally, Professor Meantree, Moore and Crosswell. A little Deeper: Hector was born a blue baby, he nearly died as his cord was wrapped around his neck. Since then he has had many problems growing up, his mother mollycoddling him never helped the situation. His father thinks him weak and pathetic and challenges him all the time to be better, be stronger, to toughen up and be more like his brothers. Hector hated when both brothers ended up being at Hogwarts without him, they were always able to deflect their fathers snide comments and constant complaints and degradations about him. In his fifth year of school, he discovered that he liked boys. It didn't really surprise him because he had never really found himself fancying girls the way all the other guys did. He was already a quiet student that kept very much to himself, though at times he did speak with his cousin Xavier. His cousins best friend however was not his ideal person no matter that Hector often found himself looking at him and his other cousin Serg was really great and very friendly too. Quite a few students at the school went out of their way to speak to him and he did appreciate it greatly, but his penchant for speaking like he was quoting from books all the time made it difficult to sustain close friends for long. He is trying his best to just be quiet and let others speak while observing them all, hoping that they won't notice him too much or if they do, that they won't mind his being there so much. He hasn't told no one at the school about his sexuality because he isn't close enough to any of them. He is part of the chess club but no other.
