Appearance

Graham keeps his hair rather short and swept to the side. He is tall, lean and pretty cut from his days as a British soldier. He's more often than not wearing a suit, but it isn't unusual to see him wearing faded jeans, tender at the seams and a tshirt when he's tending to his car or his bike.

Personality

Calling a manwhore would be an overstatement, but maybe not by much. He's picky with women, though, won't bed just anyone that throws herself at him. He is very convinced he would never settle down, that he isn't meant for just one woman. So the doll system for him is a safe selection to feed an have fun without risk of being caught biting. He's rather carefree, most days he just look like he doesn't owe anything to anyone and just does as he pleases. This is just appearances. In truth, he has seen war and is trying to forget about it, almost 70 years later, but the images are burned into his mind. Around the same dates, scattered throughout the year, he gets grumpy, taciturn and rough. That's when he sheds the persona because the memories of what he's seen back then are eating him inside. He needs to learn to let go of the past, but he has no idea how other than bury himself in the different pleasures of life. His core is very guarded, but if a woman manages to get through to him, see through the playboy shell, she'll discover something different.

Speaks English with a British accent that is slowly fading, enough of German and Vietnamese to go by, and Russian fluently.

Ability

Can stand the sun without harm.

Ons & Offs

Ons and offs are influenced by his moods. They range from teasing, flirting, light-hearted and public, to something more desperate and loving as if to counter the images in his mind. A very strong off is N/C. For more information, see player O&O

History

Graham is born to a pair of dirt poor British citizens in the early 1900's. After learning the basics at school, he was pulled out and sent to tend his father's field and cows and do the different tasks that required doing. He wasn't the most motivated of farm hands however, and earned more than one strapping because he was caught sleeping in the hay, rather than milking the cows. By the time he was nearly an adult, his father had had enough and asked him to get a life of his own, to earn a living off the farm. He didn't have the money to keep a lazy grown man at home. The only request his mother made was that he did not join the army. There was rumors of a war with the Nazi...

Graham went to try to find work, but after a while, he decided to do just what his parents had asked him not to. The army didn't suffer lazy soldiers however, and after a few rather unpleasant sanctions, Graham decided to switch gears. He ended up with his company on German soil, fighting the Nazi and freeing Jews and other people from the horrors of the camps. He obeyed orders and fought as best he could. He considered himself one lucky bastard, having fought the war from its beginning to almost the end without a wound, but his company was ambushed and his company was slaughtered. He woke up hours later, feeling pain everywhere on his body. He knew he was dying; his heartbeat was weak, and his mouth was full of blood, which he swallowed... and he blacked out.

He woke up in the morning, among his comrades, most dead and some who's brain had simply not caught up on the inevitable just yet. Graham was thirsty, but felt no pain. Everything felt sharper; he could hear things that he had not heard before. The monster in him took over though, the thirst and the smell of blood throwing him in a frenzy and he finished off the remains of his Company.

Graham deserted. He jumped on a ship and headed to Australia with all the money he had - which meant almost nothing - but the skipper of the boat was willing to turn a blind eye on the man's act of treason, and lack of money, if he worked to pay for his passage. And work, he did. He was a changed man. He never needed to sleep but he still retired to his quarters to keep the appearances up, he worked faster when no one was looking, carrying heavier loads...

In Australia, he settled for a normal life, but war was just around the corner again. It had taken not even a decade for mankind to forget the atrocities of the previous war. Under the alias Elias Richards, Graham went to war as a solider for the Australian army. It is during this war, the Viet Nam war, that Graham understood what he was and that he lost a part of his mind. He saw atrocities that were done by the soldiers who were fighting at his side. Defenseless civilians put in line and killed before their wives and children. He knew women were raped, and tried to ignore it even though it went against everything he stood for... Until the men of his unit ganged up on the wrong woman. She fought them, and had almost managed to get them off her when they overpowered her and took her in turn. Graham refused to take his turn. He kept hearing in his head; "Why are you letting them to this to me? You are my kin, young like me. I will kill them all if you don't stop them."

Graham ran out, he felt he should be sick but nothing happened. Her kin, she was like him. The image of his comrades taking her, raping her and how she felt were fed into his brain. The pain both emotional and physical, as they forced her into submission was gnawing at his sanity. Sure enough, she did kill them all and before she was done, he was there with her, killing them. Again, he found himself a traitor to his country. Elias Richards had to die, to vanish, and so he did.

He went north, fighting his way out of the country, into China, travelling at night with his Viet companion. He did so out of guilt, not out of liking her. Then from China, they managed to enter Russia. It took them years, outliving the war, in a small fishing village on the edge of the URSS before they could cross the ocean and in to Canada. He finally became a US citizen under the name of Graham Richardson in the early 1980's. His companion, who had no intention to become the citizen of a country who had the reputation of doing to women of her country what had been done to her. They parted and he found himself living on the east coast, where he updated his education and started earning good money as a corporate lawyer.

He found the coven in Vermont in the early 2000, after being hunted down by their leader. Brought almost literally by the scruff of the neck to the coven for a proper "education" he learned that what had been done to him, turning without his permission, was against vampire law. That if he ever found the vampire who did it to him, he could bring him, or her, to justice. It is also where he learned that his dark gift was to be able to stand in the sun. Something that until then had remained unexplained.

He traveled through America, not making the same mistake of venturing on someone else's territory without paying a courtesy visit. Since his visit and brief stay at the Vermont coven, he has been pondering living in a coven, but the idea of kidnapping dolls horrified him.
