As his mother's eldest child, Sebastian has been the light of his mother's eye for a long time. This has allowed him to get away with certain antics in his house although this has slowly began to change. For the most part, he is fairly easy going about most things in his life, including school, friends, and girls. Some of his professors have often shook their heads at the lad since they think he could do better if he would just put some effort into his lessons while others might have just passed him to get his unintentional destructiveness out of the class. He can be fairly messy in a lot of aspects of his life. His hair and clothes are nearly always unkempt unless he really really cares about his first impression. He has a habit of cursing and does not mind telling the odd lie every now and then. However, Sebastian does keep that a limit since it is fair too hard to remember the lies he's told people. For now, his stance on women is that they are only good for a few things like cooking, cleaning, and fucking. Of course, he would never tell this to his mother. |

If one word could describe Sebastian, it would would be painfully optimistic. He always has a positive attitude even when the situation looks particularly bleak. This type of personality has made life a bit easier and harder for him. There are times when his belief in the greater good of an opportunity for him allowed him to get some free pizza after waiting in line then there are times when he received a slap across the face for being a bit too bold with some of the girls in his school. Despite all this, he is fairly easy going with a smile nearly always on his face. He enjoys being around people who know how to laugh and have a good time. Yet, there are times when he does become serious to study for his exams since he is no where near a genius. In fact, there are some times when his mother questions if he has any magical ability or not with the way he fails some of the simplest spells. Part of the reason for his poor grades is due to him being very forgetful. It doesn't help that he seems unable to stay awake in some of them then there are just times when he dozes off with his eyes open. The good part about this is that he has developed a high tolerate for being jinxed or hexed by his professors. The bad part is that he has to find a person able to take it off him after people have gotten a good laugh at his misfortune. |

Reese is the type of girl who stays out all night and sleeps until noon the next morning. This does not exactly work well for her studies, but she does not mind too much. Not a person for the school life, she is not a favorite of the professors due to her habit of doodling badly or falling asleep at the back of her class. There are times when she even snores. Reese can be a playful girl due to her love for laughter. She has a habit for flirting with guys since their reactions are highly amusing to watch. Her flirting is not just limited to attractive guys but those that are not so pleasant to look at as well. Everybody deserves a little love, and it brightens their day. After growing up with her mother, she is a fairly picky eater and not willing to try anything new without lots of persuasion. Reese also has a habit of forgetting the most important of ideas at the wrong time. She is fairly horrible with organizing her room as well so her prior roommates were not too happy with being assigned to her. |

Reese, the youngest Hatmaker daughter, has always been a bit of the black sheep in her family. She comes from a fairly large family of four sisters and two brothers. Her mother is a pureblood witch, but she does not speak of it much due to wanting to raise her family away from magic, while her father is a muggle. There was no magic in their lives for a long time. Her mother put away her wand since she did not want any accidents to occur. It has always been Reese's belief that her mother put it away to not remind herself of what she turned her back on. Unlike some families, her family believes in living close to one another so instead of moving far, they all have houses on a large property with enough room for future generations. Her siblings are much older than her. The running joke in the family is that she was the unplanned pregnancy due to most of her siblings already being well into their teens. None of her siblings have any magical abilities. The age gap pushed a small amount of distance in between them. It was and still is Reese's belief that her family does not understand her. Since most of her brothers and sisters were too busy with their own friends, Reese invented her own activities to keep her entertained until she was sent off to school for the first few years in her life. Her friends included the strangest of people that others were not too fond of hanging around. Somehow, their little group worked out fine, and she was able to do as she pleased since her family seemed too busy to notice her nefarious activities. As she became older, Reese experienced her first encounter with magic when she somehow got into her mother's belongings while trying to find her wallet. Curiosity propelled her to take out the wand without full knowledge of its power. Unintentionally, she bonded herself with the wand, changing its allegiance from her mother to her. When her mother found out, she tried to appear calm about it even though it was clear the woman was distraught. Even still, after years of not being used, the wand was temperamental during her first two years at school. It was tempting to say damn the thing back to her mother's closet, but she felt a strange affinity with it. Like the wand, there were times when she felt alone or even betrayed by those around her. Soon enough, her patience paid off, and since then, when Reese puts her mind to something her wand works marvelously. Ever since Reese accidentally 'won' the wand from her mother, their relationship has been strange.

Rachel is a fairly friendly girl. She has a close knit of friends who understand and support her in all her endeavors. There really is not a mean bone in her body. Aright, that is a lie. Rachel can be a bitch to those who get on her bad side although that is a fairly hard thing to accomplish for people of the same sex. She can be a little slow to catch on to certain messages from people, and has a habit of allowing her feelings to get hurt easily. Sometimes she can also be a little vindictive when things do not necessarily go her way. She can become obsessive over people but can also quickly get over someone if something better comes along. |

Rachel is the eldest of three girls. Her sisters all idolize her, or at least she likes to believe that. Her family was the type of muggle family who was positively thrilled at the idea of their daughter being a witch. In fact, her mother could barely contain herself at the family gathering since she wanted to rub it under Rachel's aunt's nose as if to say who was the failure in life now! However, they contained themselves with just throwing their daughter a party themed with witches as a theme. Every now and then, mother and daughter would share a secret laugh with each other since only their little family knew the true meaning of the party. Junior Wizarding Academy was a major adjustment. Well, not to major. The only difference was she learned a new name people could call her. Mudblood. So unoriginal. Boys quickly learned not to call her this when she threatened to smother them in the type of kisses which would make their grandmother's scream for fear of their bloodlines. Favourite colour: Rachel is a huge fan of bright colors, stripes, and polka dots. Due to this reason, her choice of fashion appears like it it something out of one of those old 80s music videos.
How did your character react to this news? Rachel was unphased by this news until she noticed exactly who their male prefect was. She enjoyed that hug of welcome a bit too much. Are his/her parents former housemates of this house? No, her parents are not of magical blood. What traits associated with the house are noticeable in this character? At times, no, because she can be a bit dense with understanding what other people might interpret immediately. Other times, she displays her house traits without much effort. |
