This spell has a 50% chance to dispel every magical effect in a 3 yard cube. The chance to dispel is increased by 5% per level if the caster's caster level is higher than that of the effect's caster level, and decreased by 2% per level if the caster's caster level is lower than the effect's caster level. Potions and scrolls can be blanked by Dispel Magic. Potions count as a caster level 12 effect, and scrolls count as a caster level 22 effect. Other magic items cannot be affected by this spell.
Even if spell effects are concealed from detection somehow, they are still subject to being cancelled by dispel magic.
