Topic: Delete Stories

I attempted to delete a story that had died after a couple posts since I figured there was no point in wasting space (the other person was still posting elsewhere, so I was rather certain they were no longer interested), however was told that we aren't supposed to delete stories.  However, I can't seem to find any mention of this rule anywhere, and was curious where it is, as it makes me think I am missing other similar rules?

Ah, okay.  Missed that I guess, thanks.  Are you allowed to lock threads or delete individual messages?

You can lock threads yes, but not delete individual posts in the thread.  Usually once the story falls off of the first page it's forgotten for the most part, and people don't post in other people's story threads.
