I'm bringing my Exalted game over here from Rpol, so if anyone would like to hop aboard...
Meanwhile, for Scion:
In 1915 (or thereabouts) the British granted self rule (dominion) status to Natal. When the Union of South Africa was formed Natal petitioned not be included and the British agreed.
None the less Natal and South Africa were allies. and shared similar systems.
The nation remained under Afrikaner rule 'til, in 1988, three half-brothers of Zulu ethnicity lead a revolution against Afrikaner rule. One, who had taken the name Shaka, seized the title of president for life. Another offered no challenge to his half brother's power, but studied and remained as an advisor. The third returned to the countryside, taking up the ways of the bandit-rebel again as Shaka's rule became oppressive.
The country is now inhabited by 30% Zulu, who are the military and political power, landlords in the countriside, technicians and soldiers in the citties.
10% Afrikaner, who control a disproportionate amount of the wealth, trade, and technology.
40% Bantu, who are forced to remain in the peasent class.
15% Swazi, also downtrodden, but some are slowly clawing their way out of the countriside to become an underclass in the citties through connections in Swaziland.
5% assorted immigrants, including a substantial number of affluent Indians.
