"We don't even really know how powerful the angels are, or how many there might be" said Frank
"The tapes I saw looked pretty bad" said Larissa, "A bloody mess, limbs and parts everywhere, I don't think there's been an Eva fight yet that hasn't resulted in at least one lost limb and something getting eaten" said Larissa
May cringed at Larissa's love of gruesom detail.
"Well, we've been using the mass produced types which are all very general based machines, the new units are all unique, some are faster, others are heavy hitters, aside from that they have unique weapons aside from the generalized assortment that we can pick up from ammo dumps on the battlefield. They also have their own unique 'personality' which is why they have to test us to see which unit we'll be piloting. From what I've read so far one has a Scythe, there's heat axe for another, then one has missile pods attached to the shoulders, another one carries a giant katana, that's all I found out before they caught me peeking at the info...." said Frank
"Personality? They're giant robots..." said Larissa
"I dunno, just what the profile read" said Frank, "Also from interviews with former pilots, there seems to be some kind of 'bond' between the pilot and their Eva.
"This all sounds kinda cheesy to me, I think I'll just stick to killing those big alien monster things" said Larissa
"She's obviously never piloted before" Frank whispered to Seth
The team who had experience piloting knew better than Larissa about the forementioned bonding, even though their old Evas were generalized, they still only used the same machine each time, and now that they were parting ways, they almost felt sad for their old machines.
