The Legend of Zelda; Realms of Light and Darkness.
« on: January 21, 2011, 03:26:23 PM »

On a wall of stone, deep beneath the fields of beautiful and bountiful Hyrule a hundred years after the events of Twilight Princess, a prophecy is about to become reality.  Worlds are about to collide, barriers are about to be shattered, and there is little that can be done to stop the inevitable destruction such an event will cause.  What was once thought destroyed is reborn, and what was thought sealed is now free.  Ganondorf is not the only enemy the multiverse must fear however, for there is a power behind even the immortal god of darkness and destruction, powered by the piece of the Triforce he stole long, long ago.  The Hero of Time will not be enough without allies behind him or her, and the very foundations of the Realms will be shaken before this is over.  The only question remaining is where will you stand when all that we know and cherish will be put to the ultimate test, and the outcome will determine whether we continue on living or we cease to exist for all time.

I've been playing a lot of Zelda lately and I thought it would be fun to try a game of the same.  Mostly it's been Wind Waker, but I've beat Twilight Princess, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and A Link to the Past many times before.  Still, this will be our own story, but don't be surprised if items and treasures from any of these games and more come up at some point or another.  The darkness behind Ganon I haven't really gotten a clear handle on, but everything else I think I'm ready for.  Drawing some inspiration from Elf's epic story Culture Shock, this game will combine elements from both the legendary world of Hyrule and all that it entails as well as our own, and possibly more besides such as those scene in the Forgotten Realms if we get far enough.  I might even throw in WoW references if you can convince me it would fit in this game of course.  No sci fi whatsoever though is my only rule, but otherwise we'll see where this goes.  For now, post your interest and I'll get a CS Sheet going here soon.

Name;
Gender;
Age;
Appearance; (Pic or written works fine here.)
Class;  (Cleric, Paladin, so on and so forth.  There can only be one Hero of Time though.)
Race;  (Drow, elf, and so on.)
Realm;  (Earth, Toril, Azeroth, and so on.)
Ons;
Offs;
Personality;  (More than one line please.)
Equipment; (If any.)
History;  (Details please, lots and lots of details especially if you come from WoW or something of the sort since I don't know much about WoW...at all lol.)

There can only be one Hero of Time using the Master Sword and all but otherwise everything is up for grabs.  I thought this a fun idea though and I hope others do as well.  For now, enjoy what's to come hopefully.  Everyone will start in their own areas so I do ask that you post at the top of anything you put up where you are.

The Hero of Time will be kept a secret but I do want sample posts from everyone sent to my PM box.  The lucky winner will be chosen to be said Legendary Hero, and it'll be revealed in-game through a story event.  For now, if anyone knows anyone that might like this story feel free to pass on the love.  I added the possibilities of other Realms because I might not stay to just Hyrule but again we'll see what happens.  If we do move on though it'll to gather weapons and items that you might need later on, but the Triforce will play a part in this as it always seems to do in some form or another.  That's a given in any Zelda game just about lol.  Beyond that though, the Spiritual Stones from OoT, the Wind Waker baton, and anything else in the Zeldaverse might come around if this goes well enough and as I hope it does of course.

Remember, so long as it's not sci fi related, any race from any well known fantasy realm is up for grabs.  May the three goddesses that created Hyrule guard us all....mostly you guys and gals though since I ain't gonna be making this easy.  "Insert evil laughter here."

Color me very interested. I've been looking for an excuse to place a lovely Sheikah in a game... Will we be putting up or character sheets in this thread? Or will there be a separat one for sheets?

Name;  Sarah Helios
Gender; Female
Age; 21
Appearance;
Class;  Paladin
Race; Human
Realm;  Hyrule.  (LoZ verse.)
Ons; Passionate lovemaking, vaginal, anal, oral, maybe some light bondage.  (Anything else check my O/O page.)
Offs;  Scat, beastiality, watersports, death, mutilation.  (Anything else, O/O page.)
Personality;  Sarah is a compassionate but strong hearted paladin, a traveling knight from Termina which was connected through a dedicated path fifty years ago.  She grew up and was curious about the wide world, legends of the moon almost falling upon the world she knew long ago having been told to her repeatedly during her youth and the hero that stopped it.  The same stories are what drives her on to be the best she can be to all that she meets, though she is a bit naive when it comes to the arts of love and passion.
Equipment; Carries a sword and shield that has seen many battles against monsters and wild animals as well as a heavy pack that contains food and supplies to survive out in the wild.  Beyond that Sarah carries a locket of her parents around her neck that is hidden under her platemail armor.
History;  While she is a virgin in body and heart, Sarah carries herself with a spring in her step and a song on her lips nearly all the time.  She is a hearty warrior, able to stand on her own in a fight with relative ease.  She came from Clock Town, an almost separate world from Hyrule, her parents moving her to live in the magical place that is like her own home in some ways but drastically different in others.  Still, out of the two, she prefers Hyrule to Clock Town any day, especially with the benevolent Princess Zelda watching over these lands.

Sarah decided early on she was going to become a paladin, and she traveled away from home when she was fifteen and found a teacher that fulfilled her dreams.  It was a hard and grueling process, but she excelled in everything with enough time and practice.  Now, seven years later, Sarah is a veteran of many battles, but she still has kept her upbeat personality since the land is relatively peaceful since Ganondorf's last fall a century ago.  Rumors have begun though that something is not right in the world, and Sarah has set out to find out the cause of the dark rumors whispered on the winds.....

CRAP!  I forgot that part actually.  To answer your question Angel Eros, I'll put up a CS thread page but for now everyone can post them here.  Approved ones will be moved over to the CS thread.  Thanks for reminding me though lol.  I knew I had been forgetting something.

Tis fine :)

Loving the Soul Calibur picture also.

I will hopefully get my character up tonight... Though if I don't it will have to wait 'till Sunday, as tomorrow I'm off to my auntie's where I have no computer. So sorry in advance if there is a delay.

A note also, are homosexual pairings going to be allowed? Specifically M/M? I have no problem pplaying a female character if not, I just thought I'd ask before making a huge potential fail.

Eeeeehhhhh....I'm not big on M/M pairings, and I won't participate in such a thing if I was playing a Male character, but I won't prohibit either.  If your guy or gal or whatever swings that way, I have no problem with it Angel, but I do ask that you just be tasteful about it all lol.  That goes for everyone of course.  If you're going to do a sex scene, try to be somewhat civilized about it.  I don't mind if you cuss and slap each other around or whatever, but at least be respectful of other boundaries but that goes without saying I'm sure.  I'll shut up now before I stick my other foot in my mouth lol.

Also, thanks for the compliment.  I tried doing this character once before in another LoZ game on another website but the game didn't last long at all.  Hopefully that'll change this time.

Hmm, I think to make things easier, I'll just play a female character. It's not a problem at all.

Alrighty and again I apologize but that's just me my friend.  If you really want to go male you can by all means, just I myself am not comfortable with it lol.  Anyway, today or Sunday is fine and I hope you have fun at your Aunt's house when you go Saturday.

Quick question; has anyone tried to put up a project playlist thing on here?

I'm game. I think you should keep the Zeldaverse pure though, avoid any WoWisms, IMO, the LoZ lore is good enough and has enough openings for plot and characters by itself.

Unfortunately, the idea of a Sheikah has already been grabbed, that was definately what I was going to do!

How do you feel about the Kokiri? I'd hate to have them too kiddy and young and elfin...but in Twilight they were human. I personally prefer the idea of a feral and rustic elven society in opposition to the noble and bustling city humans of Hyrule, and also makes it fine for sexual crossovers without the ick of the Kokiri being too young.

I also had this mad idea for Saria, the sage of the forest (is that right?) as well, from a game idea I had a while back as well. In fact, I have a crapload of adult LoZ ideas, but I don't want to swamp you as it's your game.

**Approved Via PM**

Real Name Zayla
Nickname Zay
Age 19
Race Sheikah and Gerudo
- Gerudo: The Gerudo Pirates are the Gerudo inhabitants of Termina. They are led by Aveil. Little is known about the history of the Pirates, but it appears that, like the Hyrulean Gerudos, the race is either primarily or entirely female. The Pirates inhabit a large fortress in the Great Bay, and it is possible that this is the home of the Hyrulean Gerudo, who were said to have sailed to Hyrule from a land far in the west.
Gender Female
Height Five foot, Three Inches
Weight 125lbs
Class: Assassin
Birth Realm: Termina: The Great Bay
Ons: Coming Soon
Offs: Death, Scat...that's about it.
Equipment: Bow, Two Short Swords, Daggers,
Virgin Yes
Cup Size C Cup
Personality Quite, although not shy. She can be quite cocky at times and is not scared of a fight.
Likes Apples, Fish, Horses, Stories, Traveling, Swords, Bows.
Dislikes Lies, Things being kept from her, Being locked in small dark places.
Background It would be a day she would never forget. That night she over heard her mother and the leader of her people talking near the door way of their so called “home” with in the might desert fort. That night she learned about the man her mother never once spoke about -her flesh and blood father.- Then again men where rarely talked about among the desert women. Unless it was about new of there lord and king: Ganondorf even after ages have come and gone sense his fall. Zayla had always thought her father to be yet another poor soul from Hyrule or some other realm, but never a race of being that legend itself whispered about like shadows in the night. Then again Zayla always knew she was different from her sisters. Eyes of red instead of gold like the desert sand, her hair slightly darker then the red her people normally worn upon their head. Her body build was slightly different, but it helped in the line of work she was trained to do. Like all of the women of this land she had been trained to fight and guard her home, even in times of peace she found herself a wonderful dancer.

However, unlike the many guards outside their new fort now found in the Great Bay, she had been trained to be a shadow inside it. Trained with those two powerful twin blades, a bow and other items of stealth it was not hard to see now why she was so good at this art when so many of her sisters took year upon years to train in it. After all the “Shadow People” like they where so often called where told to be naturals in such things and thus the race’s nickname and like the blood of her mother these peoples blood ran threw her veins as well.

At once she was struck with anger as well as the longing to find this dieing race and learn of her father. Yet at the same time it was weird to her to feel such things for a man. After all, most of her kind never knew their father nor cared to learn about them. Yet, something inside her told her different. She needed to find him and learn about the race that now danced around in her veins. This race that myths talked about and the elders kept in whispers.

It didn’t take long for Zayla to get her powerful mare ready. The desert horse seeming uneasy about her mistress’ dreams of leaving the fort and her people. Little did she know someone she loved dearly, even if she was angry with her for keeping such a secret, was hiding in the shadows. Watching her child ready herself for a journey that could very well end in heart break as it could with happiness. The words of her mother still ringing in her ears to this day. I was going to tell you sooner or later my dear beloved child. But it seems that you found out before I was ready. Then again I will never be ready to tell you goodbye. Its for the best, even our leader agrees that your father’s blood line puts you in grave danger with our People. If they would ever find out what your father was….I would not be able to save you so you could see your last sun rise. Go and ride fast before your sisters find you gone and marked a trader. Before they find out the truth that can no longer be hidden in your eyes.

It was not long after those words her mother gave her a bag of clothing. After all, after Ganondorf fall all those years ago people still outlawed there race and where no longer welcome in most areas of Hyrule. Driven from there home the Gerudo Desert. These new clothes would hide her true self from her desert race as well. The clothing of her father’s people, the “Eye of Truth” printed deep into the cloth that hung from her body. Bandages, worn cloths, light leather armor and belts seemed to cover every inch of her body now. Her face hidden by a bright red cloak like scarf. Hell, it would be hard to tell her from a man or woman in this attire little less if what race she was besides that of the “Shadow People.”

Ok, sorry for the delay one and all.  Was planning to go to see Tron today but my ride was broke down it turned out.  Still, I wouldn't mind an older version of the Kokiro or an elven race of some sort.  However, if you want to do another Shiekah, I wouldn't mind that either but it's up to you my friend.

To get to you Leostar, I wouldn't mind hearing a few ideas my friend but as far as making it not a pure LoZ game, I do have my reasons but for the most part it will be LoZ so don't worry on that if you are.

Also, did you mean Goron when you said Gorgon?  Just curious but otherwise it sounds like a good idea.

I still need sample posts from everyone that wishes to do the Hero of Time part, but otherwise if no one does or I don't think anyone can handle it I'll take the part.

Very cool Leo and Angzyn, you're both good to go.  I still need a few more people but we can get started now I do believe.  It might take me a bit but I think we can get things going with what we have.  I do want at least three more people if I can manage to get that many, but I'll take what I can get lol.

For now, let the Legend begin!
