So I am all for the popularisation and propagation of scientific ideas, and I know there is a lot of debate on the right methodology by which to do that. This however, still took me a little by surprise with for certain concepts:

Well, I wouldn't consider it "MTV-ized," because the scientific material in question is still there, not displaced by reality shows and other non-related programming.  The scientific stuff is just presented in a... strange format.  It's pretty funny, though.
