If eyes are windows to the soul, shouldn't the eyelids be the blinds?

Like a shimmering window of water, a reach inside sends a tiny ripple

Yeah if Newman told my parents, they'd be really pissed

They're visiting from Florida, selling old raincoats

Red alert the coming flood, man the lifeboats!

A cruise I will never take, if the boat is called Poseidon

How about if the ship is covered in aluminum sidin'?

From the depths, it would seem, a beast with silver scales

I watch by the prow, surely those were only tales?

Turn back to port! Maybe we can outrun it

See that glowing green sign.. it says 'Exit'..

Stepping through the door, safety looms ahead

Following him through the door she flees the scaled beast

To the castle for a fabulous feast

Goblets of gold, plates of silver

In my pockets, I plunder and pilfer

Grins fade to frowns as the ground under shakes

A deafening roar, the castle quakes

Furious demon, rising from ashes

Comically though, the beast enjoys bright pink sashes

Also, did you hear those squeaks as it moved?

The strangest sound, but hey is that wall grooved?

Secret escape, but first we grab pastries

Mmm.. the filling is delicious.. here, taste these..

We scale the wall faster than even Peter Parker

Racing across the rooftops, purple sky grows darker

Wicked grin and grapple hook, to the tower she swings

Unlike some popular thought, I simply can't grow wings

Impressed I quickly follow as she zips off outta sight

Dressed in leather black and tight

She signals time to break and enter

Quietly he gestures towards the center

Like ninjas these two fly and jump in the dark

Sailing over laser lights, in one sweeping perfect arc

They land beside a treasure vault, inside a giant prize

A diamond in the shape of a W greats their wondering eyes

Collision of threads, perhaps? Truly this makes no sense

Curious collision it is indeed, but we will sell it two days hence

To earn a truly ridiculous sum, first unscathed we must escape

From my bag of mysterious tricks, a sun-defying cape

In this cozy shadowed cloth, we should be quite okay

Huddled beneath we slip unseen, much to the guard's dismay

Morning headlines soon exclaim, extra, extra the perfect heist!

Chilling on a distant beach, sipping bubbly that's been iced

Under the moon and not the sun, the stars above so twinkle
