Neat. If I joined, I'd enjoy playing a 'Siren' like Gem (the blonde who probably died in the nightclub explosion).

OK, sorry about the short post earlier, was posting the idea from work on my phone. So, to give you a little more flushed out version of the game.

"the Grid. It is a place where that which cannot be seen lives. Programs, data, it all exist here."

So, though I do not wish to ruin the movie for those who haven't seen it yet, the main idea about this game is what happens to the grid after the events of Tron: Legacy. With a good portion of the gird destroyed, those that are left must rebuild.

There will be a main plot with the game, but the first little while will be freeform before the main plot gets intergrated, just so the characters are a little more familiar with each other and the world. I am currently working on a character sheet for the game, and will post one as soon as I have it ready. I do not wish for any user characters, only programs.

ff, you're more than welcome to play whatever program you wish, as long as it's not too god like of course. Wolfy, what do you mean if, haven't you heard.... the internet is for porn.

I don't think they had any special powers...all I recall was their ability to make little lasers with their fingertips to sear the clothing off of the guy, heehee.

For those who don't recall (she was a minor character) or didn't see it yet:

I'd be interested in joining this one, perhaps as another isogram, like Quorra, the lifeforms that evolved from nothing . Or I could play as a User, who somehow enters via another portal laser, whichever one fits best.

I loved the movie, it was a worthy sequel to the first one.

I'm not really keen on having people play users. I kind of want to keep it focused in the grid, thougha user might show up as an npc. An ISO could be fun though.

Ok, an Iso it is, if that meets with your approval.

Character Sheet up. Going to wait to see if we get a few more, and if not, we can at least get something started up soon.

Character name: (Name, obvious lol)
Sex: (Pretty obvious)
Apparent age: (Physical appearance of age, since programs really don't age)
Program type: (What your program specializes in)
Appearance: (Picture or Description)
Background (A brief histroy of the character)
Special skills: (A couple things your character can do, but nothing overpowering)

Character Name: Stream

Sex: F

Apparent age: 22

Program Type: Music/MP3

Appearance:

Background: Stream has been around for as long as anyone can remember. She is a DJ at one of the most well end bars in the grid, The Fragment. She has been there for as many cycles as the club has been around. She also specialized in information, and no piece of knowledge that enters her side of the grid is unavailable to her.

Special Skills: Information broker, DJ, Stealth

Your choice. I'd like to see a few more people, but with the holidays, that may not happen right away.  So, if you want to go ahead and post it for approval, you can, just to expidite the process lol

Ok, I'll put in my character sheet now.

Character name- Scarlet.
Sex- Female.
Apparent age- 20.
Program Type- DARPA experimental systems.

Appearance- I havnt figured out how to put in pictures here or links, but, Scarlet would look similiar to Kristen Bell from the first season of Veronica Mars.

Background, As an ISO, Scarlet came into existence from nothing, young in the ways of the world. During the purge, she took over the skills of a dying program and was able to hide, taking over that programs purpose and reason for being. She lived on the outer edge of the city, never getting too close, but not too far either. CLU tried to capture her for the game grid, but she was too tricky and always slipped away before she could be captured.

Skills-, Scarlet excells at transportation, can operate any form of transport, from solar sailers to Recognisers, and adapted herself based on whatever new projects DARPA had going. She knows how to evade and escape danger, and can fight of course.

Hows that, if anything needs more elaboration, or doesnt fit, tell me and I'll elaborate or change it.

I'd like to place my interest in this as well! Poofed up a character, though I'm not sure if it's what you're looking for. Ready to fix and change!

Character name: Ignis
Sex: Female
Apparent age: 19
Program type: Norton Security/Infected Hacker
Background: The Grid has always been a warzone for rogue programs and users, a constant battle for supremacy with little regulation. With the continuous exposure of the Grid to the rest of the Net, certain programs have managed to creep in unnoticed, some less malicious than others. Ignis, known before simply as N-360, was a security program who's sole job was to prevent viruses, spyware, and other malicious beings from infecting computer systems. She found a place for herself within the Grid easily enough, the opportunities for her advancement near endless given her abilities. Unfortunately she was unaware of the more political events taking place behind the scenes, and was ill prepared when Abraxas, an infected ISO, began to lay havoc on the system at Clu's behest.

Despite her attempts to fight off the spreading virus, she soon was infected by a corrupted hacker program, one that she managed to derezz just as it touched her. The exchange ended not only with her being corrupted by the virus originating from Abraxas, but also melding with the hacking program. In the end, she too went on a rampage of destruction across the Grid until Clu managed to purge the system of both the virus and ISOs, though through sheer luck she went undetected. Her natural programming allowed her to eventually fight off the virus, yet she's been left broken, her abilities either locked away or destroyed entirely.

Now a-days she remains as a seeming 'Basic' program, mingling in the Grid as it's slowly rebuilt. Interestingly enough, she's developed a sort of dual-personality disorder, possessing both a shy and a very vivacious personality, the later of which decided on the new name of Ignis. Of note, she recalls very little of herself, though seems content with that at the moment.
Special skills:
Defense (Firewalls, Anti-Virus)(Un-Usable)
Mesh Warfare (Hacking)(Un-Usable)
Infection (Cured?)
Equipment:
Identity Disk
Basic Light Suit
Broken Mesh Primitive
Un-Upgraded Baton

Character name: Crystal
Sex: F
Apparent age: 28
Program type: Nightclub hostess, Influencer and beguiler, spy
Appearance: Ice-blonde and slender but shapley; see below
Background: Crystal is nearly identical  to several of the other 'Sirens', a cadre of programs designed by Clu to be a velvet glove in counterpart to  the iron fist of his warriors and legions. The Sirens influenced and beguiled others in order to project Clu's control over the Grid in subtle or diplomatic ways, and to keep him well-informed. Her 'sibling/clone' Gem temporarily managed to deceive Sam Flynn after he entered the grid and lure him to Castor/Zeus's nightclub, which Clue destroyed shortly after Sam escaped (probably destroying Gem and Caster/Zeus). Crystal, after Clu's destruction, finds herself now with freedom but a lack of immediate purpose, and looks for ways to put her skills to use (for she derives great pleasure from doing so).
Special skills: Unusually charismatic at bluffing, influencing others, and staying 'in the know', some ability to read and implant thoughts and suggestions directly in the 'minds' of other programs [Not planning to use this on other 'PCs', just random 'NPCs']

It does help if you've seen the movie, but its not essential I guess.

It's not necessary to have seen the movie, only because hte plot we're going on isn't going to do much with the movie, only what happens after.

I'd so be up for this if there is still room.  I've watched the original like 50 times and saw Tron: Legacy last week, so if there is room I'd like to throw up a character.
