Ah, this may be where we differ then. You seem to be old guard, I began and stayed new guard :3 Part of why I hate Saban. He's Old As Shit Guard.

True, I was only about five when the series started and after Lost Galaxy I stopped watching up until dino thunder but after that I slowly caught back up. I have to say S.P.D. was very well made and I really enjoyed it. I liked time force alot too.

Thats ok, it seems to be made by fans that really want it to be good and so long as the drive is there I will support it.

I can honestly say that Time Force is my favorite. It brings back so many good memories, especially that whole "Time for Time Force!" Little get up. hehe. It's also the cause of my first broken leg. Climbing onto a roof and jumping off while pretending I was a Power ranger was not one of the smartest ideas I've had

'Warning:  Cape does not enable user to fly'  (Actual label found on a Batman costume.  Yes, I said Batman.)

For me, it was the top of the stairs, and it's a miracle I didn't break anything on the way down.

This Robo-Knight character worries me... a logic driven robot that will fight any threat to the environment.

I picture him calmly walking through the private security of an oil tycoon.

Sounds like an episode plot right there.  Just have to figure out where and how to bring in the kaiju.

By calmly walk through, I mean murder the buildings security floor by floor without breaking pace.

I remember when his sentai counterpart, Gosei Knight, nonchalantly destroyed some sort of energy facility.

I'm sure it would be sanitized for American audiences, but hurling random security guards into walls wouldn't be too out of the question.

Mechanized figure walks through the security gate.  Security guard tries to stop him.  Robot puts his palm on the guard's chest and the guard flies back into the walls.

If bullets are still 'allowed', then those would naturally bounce off the robot.  Panic ensues.

And when he finally flips over the giant desk and puts his laser pistol against the tycoons forehead, the Rangers show up to convince him this is wrong via poorly written dialogue -.- Because we can't have moral complexity here! Not in Saban's Rangers. It will scare away the simpler children.
