Total Lunar Eclipse
« on: March 03, 2007, 04:08:32 PM »
There's a total lunar eclipse in its first stages right now, so if you live in Europe or anywhere else where it's night I'd urge you to take a look, it's quite a sight.

Strangely and I stood and watched it, the night was very crisp and clear, perfect in fact.
It's the first time I've seen a 'blood moon' and now I know why it's called that, because from where we were, it was very red.

We couldn't view it as the sky was covered with clouds :(

Oh well, I saw it last time (2004 I believe it was).

There's another one in August, but I can't remember whence it will be visible.
