I will ask that those of you who are not posting up bio apps Please do not clutter up the thread with chat posts. We thank you for trying to be helpful but shoot off a pm to the person you want to help out. It just makes it harder for the GMs to trawl through posts and sift out those that are pertinent to approval.

If I have to start spanking I will  >:)

Character:

Code-Name: Succubus
Real Name:Lillith Magenta Hark
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Sex: Female
Age: 19
Relationship Status: Single
Team Affiliation: Xavier
Position at the School: High School Senior

Appearance:

Hair: Red and curly. Falls just below her shoulders
Eyes: Green
Skin: Creamy white. She doesn't tan very well and burns easily.
Weight: 9st
Height: 5ft 6ins
Other: Lillith is tall and shapely and dresses for her figure. When she's not in school uniform she can usually be found in hip hugging pencil skirts with knee high boots and silk blouses. If opting for a more casual look, she likes skinny jeans, strappy vest tops and converse trainers.

Date Of Birth: 18/4/1992
Place Of Birth: Florida
Citizenship: USA

Information:

Personality: Lillith has become lost in her own power as she will become whatever you want if she needs an energy boost. She used to be very shy and unsure of herself, but her power has forced her to become more confidant and more forthright with what she wants.

Background: It took a long while before people even noticed Lillith's genetic mutation. Outwardly there were no signs that anything had changed, only the onset of puberty. It was because of this, her mother reasoned, that there were many young men (and women) surrounding her because she had blossomed into a beautiful, curvy young lady and teenage hormones were on the rampage. Her father, however had other ideas. It was his mutant power that had brought his wife to him. In the old days he had been known as Incubus as his mutant powers enabled him to invoke lustful feelings in others. He kept an eye on his daughter and after a while spoke of his suspicions to his wife. Neither parent were happy about the outcome, as the life of a mutant can be a hard one. But they wanted to do right by their daughter and so her father tried his best to teach her how to control her power.

It became clear that Lillith needed to drain emotive energy from people when it came for her to start studying for her exams. The more time she spent locked away from people, the more lethargic she became. After a while it began to make her sick, and the only way to make her well again was to surround her with people. Her parents soon found that they had to bring in her friends and suitors, as they were too upset and worried. When she fed off their negative emotive energy, Lillith became even more unwell. They couldn't take her to a hospital, not just because of people's opinions of mutants, but because of the vast amount of negatove energy there.

Lillith's parents were at their wits end, and finally decided that the only way to help their daughter would be to send her away. They had of course heard of Xavier's school, Lillith's father had been there himself and had greatly enjoyed his time there, they had however hoped that their daughter could have had some semblance of a normal life. Seeing finally that wasn't going to happen, they sat Lillith down and told her all about the school. She was reluctant to leave at first, but they explained that it would be the best place for her and that they would visit often.

Mother:

Name: Sofia Hark
Race: Human

Father:

Name: Robert Hark
Race: Mutant ('Incubus')

Other Relatives:

Powers: Major: Can feed off sexual energy and positive emotive energy such as joy. This powers her a little like a battery. If she feeds during sex, she will become a little more resilient, faster and stronger.
Minor: She can raise existing feelings. So if someone is feeling lustful or happy, she can make them feel more so for a better feeding.

Power Limitations: Negative emotive energies such as anger, pain, sadness etc will make her sick. If she is away from people for long periods of time, she will become lethargic, weak and will eventually become very ill. It is suspected that Lillith will die if she is concealed away from people for longer than a week.

Hobbies and Interests: Dancing in night clubs. Trying new foods. Reading fantasy novels.

Let me know if there's anything I need to change.  :-)

Character: Rogue

Code-Name: Rogue
Real Name: Anna Marie
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Sex: Female
Age: 24
Relationship Status: Complicated
Team Affiliation: Xavier
Position at the School:

Appearance:

Hair: Long brown with a white streak in the middle
Eyes: Green
Skin: Caucasian
Weight: 135
Height: 5'8"

Date Of Birth: June 3rd, 1986
Place Of Birth: Caldecott County, Mississippi
Citizenship: Citizen of the United States with a Criminal Record

Information:

Personality: Rogue is a strong willed and down to earth woman who has no shame in her game. She can be complex and withdrawn at times, but most of the time when her confidence is on high, she's wild, and fun, unlike her movie portrayal.  Rogue's sexiness has always been shown as a real brick house, down to earth southern gal with the attitude to back it up.

Background: Rogue's career began rather questionably with the Brotherhood Of Evil Mutants, which was led by her foster mother, Mystique. Her powers took hold much earlier, manifesting at the time of her first kiss with her childhood friend Cody. Not knowing the damage it would do, she kissed him innocently, and drained him of all of his memories, leaving him in a coma. This first tragic incident caused her much pain as she realized she could never touch another living being. She later came to realize that the absorption of memories was not always permanent, but only occured with prolonged contact. She also discovered that she could absorb another mutants powers, as well as their memories, and Mystique put this power to work by making her part of the Brotherhood.

On her first mission with the Brotherhood, she fought against a super-hero named Ms. Marvel (Carol Danvers), whom she stole the powers of flight, super-strength and invulnerability from. After stealing the powers, she tried to throw Ms. Marvel from the bridge they were fighting on, but she held on to Rogue's hand trying to take her with her. She held on too long, and the absorption became permanent, leaving Rogue with all of Carol Danvers' memories and powers. Rogue disappeared from public view following that incident.

Meanwhile, Carol Danvers, now powerless and with little to no memory of her former life tried putting the pieces back together with no luck. Her quandry eventually led her to the X-Men, seeking the help of Professor X of putting her mind back together. Elsewhere, Rogue surfaced, having a brief run-in with Wolverine before escaping. A short time later, Rogue arrived on the doorstep of the X-Mansion, also seeking Professor X's help. Her mind was shattered from the continuing battle between her and Carol Danvers' psyches, and she asked for his help in piecing her mind back together. He answered her plea for help, and admitted her as part of the team. Unfortunately, Carol Danvers was not so forgiving. In the time she had spent with the X-Men, latent mutant powers had surfaced and she sent Rogue into orbit, literally, with a punch when she entered the mansion. Rogue returned to find Carol Danvers in heated discussion with Professor X. He was convinced that Rogue should be taught to control her powers so that further incidents such as the one with Carol would not happen. Carol Danvers, now Binary Star, left the mansion in a huff, never to return.

It was a rough time for Rogue as she was slowly accepted by the team, the hardest to convince being Wolverine who had been very close to Carol Danvers during the early days of his career. But eventually, through much effort and sacrifice, they came to accept her. In the early days with the team she used her power of absorption often, usually stealing their powers and memories with the kiss so often denied her in life. She stole powers from many great beings, including the god-like Beyonder. She also spent a great deal of time wrestling with Carol Danvers inside of her head. Anytime Rogue was rendered unconscious, Carol Danvers persona took over Rogues body. At one point, when Carol Danvers was in control of Rogues body, she touched Psylocke on the shoulder with her bare fingers, skin to skin, without triggering the absorption. Rogue has never learned how to control it to this day.

But, if Carol Danvers knew the secret to controlling Rogue's power, it was lost forever when Rogue sacrificed herself to the Siege Perilous to rid the world of MasterMold. The Siege Perilous is a device which takes each being that enters it, takes them apart to their molecular level and judges them, placing them at the time and place the will do the most good with another chance at life. Rogue spent quite a bit of time in the Siege, finally being dropped by it at the X-Men's complex in Australia. Finding herself without Ms. Marvels powers, and no sign of Carol Danvers psyche or the X-Men, she made her way to the Savage Land, where she was confronted by a zombie-like Ms. Marvel. The Siege Perilous had divided them into two beings again. Unfortunately, there was only enough life force for one of them and they each struggled to possess it. In the ensuing battle, Rogue was losing and lost consciousness. When she awoke, she found Magneto as her savior, having finished the battle for her. She spent a time without any powers at all, and grew very close with Magneto during the her time in the Savage Land. Her powers did return, slowly, though now she rarely used her power of absorption. Eventually she was reunited with the X-Men.

By this time, there were many new faces, among them, Remy LeBeau known as Gambit to the team. He began to persue Rogue with a romantic vengeance, and their relationship grew despite her inability to be intimate. They eventually did kiss, when the crystal wave came, bringing with it the Age of Apocolypse and ending the world as they knew it. When the world returned to normal, it found Gambit in a coma from the last desperate kiss, and Rogue with memories she could not decipher. She discovered that there were many dark secrets in his mind, but could not puzzle them out. Her confusion at this drove her to leave the X-Men for a time, and Gambit to follow her. He reached out to her, offering her all, to let her touch him and know everything, but she could not and turned away from him.

When she returned to the X-Men, she had a mutant named Joseph in tow, formerly known as Magneto. She did not stay with the team long, though, as she prepared to leave to go visit her childhood love Cody, still in his coma. Unknown to her, Gambit's wife Belladona had kidnapped Cody in her plans to be rid of Rogue, believing Rogue had stolen Gambit from her. Belladona was defeated by both Gambit and Rogue, but Cody died from the lack of his life support machines. In touching him though, Rogue felt his happiness and forgiveness, and reconciled herself with her lifelong pain.

Mother:

Name: Priscilla
Race: Unknown

Father:

Name: Owen
Race: Unknown

Other Relatives:
Raven Darkholme (Adopted Mother)
Irene Adler (Second Adopted Mother, Deceased)
Kurt Wagner (Adopted Brother)
Graydon Creed (Adopted Brother)

Powers:
Power Absorption: Rogue is a mutant who possesses the ability to absorb the memories, abilities, personality, and outward physical characteristics of other beings through skin-to-skin contact. Such transfers lasted for 60 times longer than the contact time, with extended contact resulting in the possibility of permanent absorption. No upper limit has been determined for the number of beings Rogue can simultaneously imprint.  This process renders her victims unconcious.

Stolen Powers: After permanently absorbing the powers of Ms. Marvel, Rogue possesses an amalgamated mutant human/alien Kree physiology that grants her a degree of immunity to poisons, and a virtually indestructible body. Rogue also possesses Ms. Marvel's above normal reflexes and psychic "seventh sense" that enables her to subconsciously anticipate an opponent’s moves. Whilst Rogue possesses Ms. Marvel's psyche, her "double" consciousness made her resistant to telepathic probes from even the most powerful mind readers. She also gained Ms. Marvel's incredible strength, and supersonic flight.

Power Limitations:
Power Absorption: Upon absorbing another's memories, Rogue also gains any associated emotional responses. Rogue was typically able to control such emotions, however absorbing psyches more powerful than her own results in Rogue’s psyche being supplanted.

Hobbies and Interests: Mechanic Skills, Baking, Scrapping, Flirting, Law

OOC Ons and Offs:  Rogue likes handsome, smooth talking men who are sure of themselves, but deep down she's frightened of relationships and what they might mean, especially since she can never be intimate with anyone.  She guards her emotions zealously, for fear that she'll get hurt.  On the surface, she has a tough bravado that says she doesn't need a man to protect her, but inside she has a soft spot for a man who can practice genuine chivalry.

Date Of Birth: September 9th 1993
Place Of Birth: Munich, Germany
Citizenship: Germany

Information:

Personality:
Caden has nothing but a wolfish personality and a pack mindset.  She is very loyal and protective of those she believes to be within her pack which includes her family and friends and anything outside the pack is considered useless.  When she first walks into the room she immediately establishes a dominance order of everyone in the room,  and has a tendency to be unhappy with those that step out of that line, her pack or not.  Whether wolf or human hierarchy Caden knows dominance is the most important thing, wolves are just more realized of that fact.

Background:
Born in Munich Germany, Caden spent the first five years of her life there and when wolves started showing up in the city and found their way into Caden’s room her parents tried everything to keep them away for fear of her safety.  The wolves never posed a threat to her or her family they seemed merely curious about the young girl and even looked out for her.  Her father eventually decided they should move away from the city so others would not begin to question the wolves’ appearances and once her family moved to the nearby Bavarian Alps Caden was never without a wolf by her side.  Her parents did not exactly understand her connection with wolves they slowly began to trust them to look out for her when they left and began to trust them even more when Caden showed signs of being able to communicate with them a few years later.

When Caden was twelve she shifted for the first time and terrified her parents as she began fighting with another adolescent wolf.  The older wolves simply watched the fight, surprising Caden’s parents even further that the wolves were not stepping in to protect her as they had come to expect.  When the larger dark brown wolf, that was Caden, pinned the other wolf with a growl and it offered her the soft underside of its belly and bared its neck to her the fight was over.  When four legged Caden ran over to her parents wagging a tail neither of them had time to say anything before she shifted back into the two legged brunette they knew and loved.  She refused to explain the fight to her parents only telling them that it was something that needed to be done.  Her hearing and smell improved drastically after her first shift as did her ability to communicate with wolves increasing the distance she could do so.  After a few more occurrences of uncontrolled shifting her parents decided it was best to take her out of public school.

She spent her mornings learning English from her mother, the afternoons learning other subjects from her father, and her evenings running with the pack.  She gradually learned things about pack life and her own powers and by the time Caden was sixteen she could control her shifting well, excluding when she becomes too aggressive or angry.

At seventeen her parents passed away in a car crash in Munich and Caden shifted into a wolf and became a permanent part of the pack for nearly a year becoming more animalistic with each passing month.  The wolves were aware of her pain, her parents had been just as much a part of the pack as her, but knew she could not stay with them and spent most of their time trying to get her to shift back to be with her own people.  When logic and reason could not when out the leader of the pack gave her the ultimatum of shifting back or not being welcomed among the wolves any longer.  Caden eventually gave in and shifted back to two legs.

The wolves were happy and told her of a pack of wolves in America that lived around a strange school that the leader thought Caden would be happy to go to.  They had people that did stranger things than turn into wolves.  The tried to convince her to go and she gave in grudgingly, not wanting to leave her pack, and travel to America to find the school the wolves spoke about.

When Jade was 7, she and friend were playing in a park when another kid came up to show them something. He held out his hand, which had a rock in it, and then slowly the rock began to rise and float. Jade and her friend were very impressed, Jade reached out towards the rock but it suddenly fell to the ground. The boy look confused and tried to float the rock again, only to find he couldn’t. He looked up at Jade, with tears in his eyes “what did you do?”, before running off to his mother. Jade didn’t believe she had done anything wrong.

As time went by Jade met a couple more people with powers, and every time would end with that person loosing the gift they were showing off. Jade eventually figured it had to be her, she was blocking their powers. Not sure how to hardness it, Jade took up meditation and yoga to help focus and strengthen her inner being. Gradually she began to feel a warm energy inside her that she could manipulate and push out towards other around her.
Feeling a better hold on herself, Jade finished middle school uneventfully until the summer before high school. Jade had been out with her friends, riding bikes down their favourite hill.
As always someone fell, Jade rushed over to help, dusting off the dirt on her friends legs. She noticed a couple cuts along the skin on her friends leg. Jade ran her fingers over the cut asking her friend if it hurt, but she lost her words as Jade watched the skin below her fingers slowly knit together. Later that day while meditating before bed, she discovered a new softer energy inside her, very fresh and untrained. wow...just read a couple post and there's a lot of healers out there...if there's too many my minor power can be energy sensing and tracking. Where I can feel other peoples energies and tell if they are human or mutants.

I am declining this bio because I had deemed this character unable to be realistically played in this game.  It's somewhere in the OOC, I'm very sorry that you've gone to the trouble of making the character, Sage.  I won't accept any bio for this character.

*scratches head* It's not anything to do with you, Sage. I had previously said that I didn't want anyone playing Rogue because of the nature of her character.  She can't touch anyone. In a game that is partially sexual, it's a role that is entirely going to be painful.  While I enjoy character development, there's something to be said for too much pain in a character.  I don't really know what other explanation to give you, but I wish that you'd mentioned this to all of the GM's before preparing the character sheet. I hate that you put effort into it before hand.

As a matter of fact, the game rules do state that anyone taking on a canon character is to PM the GM's with the sheet before posting it or something to that effect.  If you'd followed the rules, you'd have been saved some trouble.

I hated Gambit and Rogue together. I always thought Rogue was more fit for Colossus.  My sister is obsessed with Gambit and Rogue to the point that she wrote a friggin 10 season TV show that she tried to get published, all about the X-men and with them at the center.  It was good, it's just so hard to get published in this town.

And I want to go ahead and take Rogue off the roster as a possible character because... well, with her powers, she'd be one that would be hard to play and can't even kiss anyone, as well as Adonis saying that he's not following the canon where she was concerned.  Playing a character with powers like hers... she'd only be a good match physically for Leech because he could null mutant powers. He's the only one... Poor girl.  Can you imagine not being able to touch anyone?  I can't. Heck, I'd off myself. I like hugs too much.

OOC Ons and Offs:   see my O/O's

As per the mention of us not taking on characters created just for sex, I'm not going to accept any variation of this character sheet.  While it is an interesting read, I thank you for the effort you put into it.

Also, please note, if you are conversing with ONE of the GM team, please do so simultaneously with the entire GM team so that we may better make decisions. Thank you to those who are doing so, it makes our jobs easier, but it's hard to run a game with one GM making decisions that others had no say in.  I will start declining things on principle if all GM's are not consulted.  This goes for those PMing only one of us.  One of us can't make all the decisions.  When we PM you please hit the reply all button at the top of the page as well.  The game is getting too large for us to let this continue.

Also, we're no longer allowing Empaths, shape shifters, or healers will be allowed in the game from this point on. Any who apply after this point, unless some have gone inactive, will be declined.

Characters who go inactive will lose their rights to their power sets after so long, as there are so limited power sets being used.  It gives us a chance to recycle and use good ideas. The exact power set is not allowed, things must be switched up a bit.  No plagiarism, please.

Greeneyes - it's fine that her minor ability is healing. No need to change it. She has my approval.

Fenrir - approval given

Amelia - I'm otherwise good with her powers etc ...
Regarding speed at which she heals people, I envisioned it as the bones and tissue healing right there on the spot while she touches the person. Possibly able to knit a broken bone together in ten to fifteen minutes compared to the weeks that it normally takes, but as a result the pain as you have said would be excruciating. (they can always go to Kesara for some pain meds ;) )  --- we can wait to see what the other GMs think regarding this.

Lunar - I love Rogue and I do recall you mentioning in the X's OOC yesterday that you would like to create her. It was my fault for not remembering that she was off the board and you having to waste time in preparing your fabulous sheet. Thank you for taking the time to do that and apologies.

London - in my view your girl is technically an empath and we have stated categorically in a few places that those we are not taking any more.

as stated by Adonis a few pages back (pg 17 to be exact)

What we are *looking for* in a character:

1. Believability (Do you shoot lazers from your ass? If yes, please don't bother.)
2. Realistic power & Control for the age of the student. (This does not mean your character can be 407 years old and a freshman because they dont age.)
3. NON-CANON with NON-CANON powers. You are allowed ONE major power, and TWO minors. Anything more powerful than this will be IGNORED. Please do not waste our time, or yours by wanting to play something ridiculous, such as undead, ET, or baby Jesus (as examples).

4. Power wise, we're full up on empaths,
shapeshifter and healers so those of ya wanting to dominate all emotions, you're kinda SoL for now.[/b]

Most importantly, we're looking for those of you willing to work with us as GM's to find an acceptable way to mold the character to fit both the rules that are set forth in the directory, as well as the uniqueness that you may offer to the game. Be creative !

If you would rather PM the character sheet/concept to the GM's instead of posting it here, please make *SURE* that it goes to all four GM's (Adonis, Kendra and Secretwriter).

what has been written in red are powers added to the list since this original piece was written.

GreenEyes, you have my approval as well.

Fenrir, your abilities are very similar to that of another character's but it's limited to only wolves, so I can go with that.  Approved.

Amelia.  I'm still thinking on yours.  I'm iffy on the third person with such high healing abilities.  You had a guy that you dropped and then there's Glow.  I'm just not sure.  Give me some time to think about it and discuss it with the other GM's.

I can most definitely downplay how high the healing ability is, take it down a notch (or five).

As for Nick, dropping him isn't exactly accurate >.< He's my first male on E and I'm a bit insecure in writing him, so when I couldn't get any sort of plotting going for him I lost my swagger. I've not given up on him yet, I do hope to find him a place within the story. Those of you who know me/have written with me know I'm not a wallflower as a writer, so you might recognize how out of character this is for me >.>

That being said, thank you for considering Jamie, and should you decide she's not a good match for the game that is absolutely fine <3

I asked you to clarify because in your previous post you didn't actually tell me why I was being denied.  Your last post explained things better, so thank you.

I asked in the OOC what the rules were for playing a canon character and I was unanimously told to just post a sheet.  There was even a GM on at the time who saw that I was interested in playing her.  Just so you know, I didn't know about that rule.  I do now though, so no worries.  :-)

As far as it being too painful (and yeah, I know your decision is final and all that but I just wanted to get my own opinion out there), the X-Men have always been about angst.  Out of all the Marvel titles, the X-Men has always been one of if not the most filled with "woe is me" type characters.  It's the nature of the X-Men.  Rogue's no worse off in my opinion than anyone else, and it's not like she could never use one of those damned inhibitor collars that are always being used on mutants to temporarily turn her powers off and get busy with someone.  But yeah, my main point is that the X-Men are Marvel's very first "Angster's Paradise" title.

Lunar - I love Rogue and I do recall you mentioning in the X's OOC yesterday that you would like to create her. It was my fault for not remembering that she was off the board and you having to waste time in preparing your fabulous sheet. Thank you for taking the time to do that and apologies.

No worries Kendra, though I do wish you had caught that earlier.  ;)

Thanks Kendra!

I switched Tristan's Fire Resistance Secret, hopefully that will help. Also I have ideas for other powers for Mena to right things.

I'm thinking electricity manipulation (like Static Shock) it doesn't have to do with the atmosphere more electromagnetic fields. If that doesn't fly, I have an idea for her to be able to manipulate gravity fields to float, and affect the gravitational pull around her, some objects and people. It uses up a lot of energy and is hard to to, it weights on her concentration as well. She can only lift slightly above her weight (150 lbs to 200lbs) which she'll have to work up too.

If you guys have particular things you're unsure or what want to call me on, just let me know.

Character:

Code-Name: None at the moment
Real Name: Alexander Hawkins
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Sex: male
Age: 19
Relationship Status: single
Team Affiliation: [Xavier, Anarchy X, Independent] Independent
Position at the School: College freshman

Appearance:

Hair: dark brown
Eyes:  pale green
Skin: fair
Weight: 160 lbs
Height: 5'11"
Other: (physical defects/mutations, overall appearance) Alexander is physically blind

Date Of Birth: April 10, 1992
Place Of Birth: Alexandria, Virginia
Citizenship: United States

Information:

Personality: Alexander is friendly enough once people get to know him and is very open with those close to him, but tends to be a bit introverted at first.

Background: [Three good paragraphs]

Alex was with a physical defect that severely limited his sight. He wore glasses almost as soon as he could walk, and these helped for a time. He remembers being able to see, but as his childhood went on, the condition worsened. He was legally blind  by 6 and had physically lost the use of his eyes by 8, despite the efforts of medical specialists hired by his parents. He had as normal a childhood as anyone in his condition could, and attended school early on.

After he became legally blind, Alex was pulled out of school and spent the rest of his years homeschooling using specially ordered braille texts. Having little else to do he red voraciously. Early on his parents told him stories about Helen Keller and all that she had managed to accomplish despite being worse off than him. It was during this period that Alex began to realize that people saw his condition as a real problem, rather than just an inconvenience. Personally, if he had to have a blind role-model, Alex preferred Homer, and read both this Iliad and the Odyssey by the time he was 12. Of course there was much of them he wouldn't understand until much later.

About the time Alex was 13, his parents noticed something strange. The boy had begun to avoid obstacle, even those he hadn't touched with his cane. At first, they assumed that he had simply become so aware of the layout of their house, which they never changed, that his muscled had memorized it. With this assumption, they ignored it for a while. However, one small incident when Alex was 15 left no doubt that something was strange.  Alex's mother was making salad to go with dinner and accidentally knocked the salad bowl off the counter. Alex, standing nearby, turned and caught the bowl before it hit the ground. When asked to explain how he had done it, he simply shook his head and said he "knew it was falling."

Intrigued by this discovery, Alex's father took him out into the backyard and threw things for Alex to catch, which he did without trouble. While none of them could explain what was happening, the decided to keep the whole thing quiet for the time being. Alex finished highschool at home and began to look for college. By now he and his father had stretched the limits of his ability. His reflexes seemed to actually be no better than normal, but he seemed to be able to predict things within a very limited space of time. His father began teaching him fencing and Alex proved to be highly capable at it, though his motor skills appeared no better than average. He simply seemed to know how his father's next move would play out just before it happened. Slower tactical situations showed now change however, and Alex remains a dreadful chess player.

Alex's parents recently saw an interview with Professor Xavier on the news and began to investigate the school. After some thought and a visit and some interviews that confirmed what they had suspected for some while: that Alex was a mutant, it was decided that he should attend the school. Alex's parents try to be supportive despite not fully understanding what is happening to their son.

Mother:

Name: Evelyn Hawkins
Race: (mutant or human) human

Father:

Name: Darren Hawkins
Race: (mutant or human) human

Other Relatives:
Ben Hawkins (father's brother)
Daniel Hawkins (cousin on father's side)

Powers:
Alex has very limited precognition. He can sense things that are about to happen in his vicinity about a second or two before they happen. He does not have visions and doesn't see, hear, or feel the things before they happen, but he senses that they are about to. This gives him the appearance of having supernatural reflexes.

Power Limitations:
-Alex is physically blind, his power only overcomes this in a limited since. For example he can generally get around without a cane.
-Also, the amount of time that Alex has after he senses something seems erratic. It seems to average out to a second or two, but sometimes it is much less, giving him almost no time to react. Very rarely, it is longer. Generally it just gives him an advantage on reaction time.
-Physically, Alex is simply a fit human 19-year-old. His power have not biologically enhanced his physical ability in any way.
-The power also becomes less reliable as he tires.

Hobbies and Interests:
-Reading (particularly epic poetry)
-Fencing (his father was a professional and has been giving him lessons for about three years. Alex would like to continue learning.)
-Generally, Alex has a deep interest in learning just how far his ability can be stretched, and occasionally has tested it by sprinting through a park near his house and seeing how long he could go before he ran into something.

OOC Ons and Offs:
Ons: romance, detail, aggressive women, equal partners, age differences (in either direction), one night stands, light bondage (handcuffs, etc)
Offs:  heavy bondage, non-consensual, body fluid play. I'm generally tend toward light with maybe a bit of light kinkiness.

Character:

Code-Name: Ka'ahupahau (Unofficial at the moment)
Real Name: Kaia Aliikai
Ethnicity: Polynesian (Hawaiian)
Sex: Female
Age: 16
Relationship Status: Single
Team Affiliation: Xavier
Position at the School: High School junior

Appearance:

Hair: Silver
Eyes: Black (Completely, no whites)
Skin: Mostly gray except the white on her front side, her face, neck, chest, stomach, the under sides of her arms and palms.
Weight: 100 lbs
Height: 5'
Other: Kaia has a mix of gray and white skin. Her face, the front of her neck, her chest, stomach, and the under sides of her arms are completely white. The rest of her skin is a soft gray color and is a bit rough to the touch. Her teeth are sharp bladed triangles and often make her self conscious about smiling. Her hair is a shimmering silver and her eyes are completely black, two solid black orbs set on her young snow white face. With an unusually high metabolism and a passion for swimming Kaia is naturally very slender, and has to eat a great deal to maintain a healthy body weight.

Because of the discolorations of her skin and eyes, Kaia tends to wear long sleeved clothing and sunglasses when in public. She's found that because of her white face she can sometimes pass for human by appearing goth and will occasionally wear spiked collars and baggy bondage pants. When among other mutants, however, Kaia tends to just wear loose fitting jeans and various t-shirts.

Date Of Birth: 06/24/1994
Place Of Birth: Honolulu, Hawaii
Citizenship: American

Information:

Personality: Once a sweet and out going young girl, Kaia has become very shy and with drawn since her mutation. She tends to keep to her self and avoids large groups. She enjoys the ocean and has missed her island life sense moving to the main land. Though Kaia doesn't claim to practice in any religious she has adopted the name Ka'hupahau, the name of the shark goddess, as her allies after several of the older natives started referring to her by it due to the nature of her mutations.

Still trying to find her place in life, Kaia has made very few plans for the future, simply living for the moment while trying to discover what she even can do with out risking ridicule from the general public. She had once thought of becoming a professional dancer, but now fears any profession that would put her in the public eye.

Despite her shy nature Kaia is a still a very sweet and caring young woman. She's always willing to help anyone in need, and can some times be a bit too trusting of others. She a bit more easily decidable then she would like to be, but dose generally try to assume the best of everyone.

Background: A young Polynesian girl born in Hawaii, Kaia's father, a biologist doing cancer research on sharks, disappeared at sea shortly after her birth. About three years later her mother remarried to a geologist who came to study the islands volcanoes. As a young girl she would often help her mother give hula lessons to tourist.

At the age of nine Kaia was diagnosed with cancer, and suffered through nearly 4 years worth of radiation and chemotherapy, loosing all her hair but to no avail. At around age twelve she took up smoking marijuana to help ease the side effects of chemo, a somewhat bad habit that's stuck with her to this day.

Having come to accept her own enviable death Kaia fell in a deep depression. Finally, one day, standing on a cliff over looking ocean, Kaia stepped off the edge wanting simply to drowned in the water below, only to discover...she couldn't. When her eyes opened she found her self face to face with a rare, but not unheard of, site in Hawaiian waters. Swimming towards her was a massive great white shark, however she seemed to sense she had no reason to fear the beast. Through some odd new sense she was able to "feel" the shark, and she knew it could feel her, and she did not feel like it's prey.

That was when her body first began to mutate, the gills opening on her neck allowing her breath under water. As her mutation evolved and grew, the cancer in her body began to grow smaller and smaller before finally disappearing completely. As her body began to heal her skin grew paler in some areas and grayed in others, her teeth became sharp and triangular, and her hair grew back in silver rather then black. The older more superstitious natives of the island began to call her Ka'ahupahau, the name of the shark goddess said to once rule the local waters. She now lives at Xavier Institute, catching up on schooling she missed while in and out of hospitals.

Mother:

Name: Lana Aliikai Jarrah
Race: Human

Father:

Name: Ekewaka Aliikai (Presumed Dead)
Race: Unknown

Step Father:

Name: Smith Jarrah
Race: Human

Other Relatives:

Powers: Kaia's most obvious mutations are her discolored skin hair and eyes. The softer areas of her body, her face, the front of her neck, her chest, stomach and the under sides of her arms are snow white, while the rest of her skin is a soft gray color, her hair is a metallic silver and her eyes are solid back. On the sides of her neck are gills which open up in water causing her lungs to seal shut to filter oxygen from the water. When she leaves the water her gills seal shut and her lungs open back up to breath air.

Kaia's less obvious mutation is her electroreception, the ability to detect the electromagnetic fields produced by the nervous systems of all living things. She can feel the movements of others the very moment their brain sends out a signal through their nervous system. Recently Kaia has discovered that by controlling the electromagnetic fields in her own body she can control the nerve cells in others to a small degree by placing her hands on them. Kaia also posses an unusual amount of physical strength and a very powerful sense of smell. She also seems to get what can only be described as an adrenalin rush at the scent of blood, almost going in to a frenzy at times.

Power Limitations: Because of her ability to detect electrical vibrations Kaia is very susceptible to strong electrical waves. Even the impulse given off from an every day microwave cause her sever migraines and even stronger electrical waves can subdue her in to a state of crippling pain.

Hobbies and Interests: Swimming, dancing, and surfing.
