I think it's about time I made one of these.

I'm a bit of an odd cookie with the way I roleplay, I guess. I tend to think more in terms of the concept, rather than a plot, scene, or role I'd like to play out. But that just leaves more wiggle room for my partners to help me build something awesome!

I'm not gender specific for any of these ideas, but I will be honest I've been craving some good MxF interaction lately, but these could all very easily be anything else.

I greatly enjoy stories about people coming out of their "boxes," for lack of a better way to put it, and discovering the world is bigger and more mysterious than they originally thought. Some concepts I'd like to explore further would be:

Dharma Bums TAKEN!
This would be set in the sixties (easily one of my favorite time periods), and would explore the mentality of that era and the "free love" movement. There would be drug use and philosophical debate. Either I or a potential partner would (theoretically) play a newcomer to the movement. The newcomer would get the full treatment, which would include a full sexual awakening. Again I would love to see more added to this idea.

Arabian Nights
So, I like sociology, and one of my favorite subjects is sex over time and how different cultures' historical attitudes towards it have changed, and a great way to learn about that is to look at pornography over time. Back in the Victorian era a very common porn story was that a good English (or German, French, Spanish) girl is kidnapped and whisked away to an Arabian harem where she is draped in finery and "deflowered" by a dashing Arabian prince. She usually resists at first but he coaxes her into it and she finds she likes it (a lot), and then resists her countrymen's attempts to rescue her. I've always found it to be a really neat look into the Victorian mindset and I'd love to explore

God Is In The Rain
This is one of my particular favorite concepts for a story. I base the concept loosely on the work of Charles de Lint, who works with the idea that the world is bigger and more mysterious than most of us think, and that if we look closely we'll find the things we didn't think exists. Another good example of this kind of story is Neverwhere. Very good show. Anyway, this concept would center again on a newcomer being introduced to a modern fantasy world by a more experienced character. I would love to flesh this out further.

Hello-  As a newbie I hesitate to suggest co-writing with one so expert and lucid as yourself. Your words and thoughts flow off the page- wonderful to read. I am intrigued by your style and suggestions and wonder if you would care to take on a keen and avid 'learner' in one of your scenarios. I have written a bit elsewhere- on Lit and in some personal one to ones but am keen to develop style and range with an exciting partner.
You can imagine I would be interested in playing the 'newcomer' in a role- at least until I found my feet or confidence or whatever lol.
I have also been giving thought to a few scenarios- but they are poor in comparison to yours- but here they are anyway. I  hope these don't sound too simplistic- they may prompt you to give them your own ‘twists’.

Chance Encounter - The usual thing of an M/F meeting- He the middle aged, looking for new experiences -  well heeled character. She , as you wish. The situation an art gallery. Exhibition of famous artist- private viewing of his latest works- he is renowned for the erotic element of his work.  What happens next?

Somewhere in Provence - He a French writer- famous for his stylish fiction. But also under a pen name- writes very strong Erotic books.  He has a large rambling comfortable old villa in Provence- set outside a village - very spacious, quiet but near to beaches, towns- Nice, if necessary . Now sadly struggling with writers block, he feels he needs some company- but not too much. Decides he has rooms to spare and advertises for a person to rent a self contained unit as part of the house. He is wealthy- has staff- gardener, maid, chef - these are characters that can be brought into play. Your character replies- she can be from UK, US or wherever.

Artist Model - He is a well known artist and needs a model- He paints major works- and also erotica for underground market. He is a solitary man- moody, brooding - but underneath, maybe he is more open. Tension between the two characters and others if introduced can lead anywhere!

I am based in the UK so email is best for me.  I am pretty flexible about responses – and  would hope to write several times a week- a few descriptive paras at a time. But no doubt this will very much depend on both our priorities and pressures elsewhere.
Now if you don't feel I am your style- do feel comfortable in saying so- at this stage, I am just finding my way. Smiles - SP

Train Hopping
This is based in the sixties as well, based on the trend of young people hitchhiking, train hopping, and generally bumming across the country for whatever reason. I'd like to explore the concept of two strangers meeting on one such venture, maybe headed for Woodstock or something similar. Again, there's a lot of room to explore a sexual awakening situation here.

Sweet Tangerine
This is another "coming out of the shell" type concept, but this one is more about overcoming personal shyness. I would set this is in modern times, and it could be in a variety of situations, but the one that comes to mind is a photographer that desperately wants to have a shy acquaintence model for them. Again lots of room to flesh it out...
