Master/Slave M/M Fantasy (seeking switch master)

Setting: Fantasy, Ancient Egyptian equivalent
Plot: Aapep was once a low-ranking noble close to the king, he is accused of trying to start a rebellion. He is stripped of his name and rank, made a slave, renamed ‘Sanura’ and sent to a far away country. The man he is given to is notoriously harsh to his slave, and soon Aapep is meek and cowering. After half a year, hardly anyone remembers he was once a noble.

Only then is he free to move without fear of being suspected. The fabricated accusations were a cover to allow him to get into the palace and steal back an artefact that had been stolen. His ‘master’ is in on the plan, and has been promised a vast reward for his aid. Only, things don’t go as smoothly as he had hoped, for an old enemy has come to court and, soon after, his ‘master’ is found dead.
