Rannock wears chainmail over leather, and uses a large shield and a longsword, or a longbow. If he needs to be a bit more stealthy, he wears a dark cloth shirt over his chainmail. He wears brownish trousers, most all the time, and soft boots.
Biography: Rannock was born in a large village in a plains region, surrounded by prosperous farmers who sold their excess goods in a nearby city. He grew up riding horses, working his father's farm. Bandits are always a problem in Rannock's home villiage, so on becoming an adult, Rannock served as a militiaman in his home village for several years, slowly building his combat and tactical skills. His parents had encouraged him to become a warrior, more than just a militia member, and after five years of serving his village, he resigned, and became an adventurer. His life became one of wandering from city to city, taking jobs for some period of time, then moving on. He mixed mercenary work with the search for treasure--adventuring--working with one group, then another. He's driven to seek his own fame, though not at the expense of his associates.
Deepest Wish/Desire or Goal: Rannock desires to be the lord of a village, someone responsible for protecting, aiding, and nurturing the people of a place--doing so fairly, honorably, and successfully.
