Please note that this thread is not meant to be constantly up-to-date with forum changes and description updates. However, it is an accurate overview of all of the forums and their respective purposes.

Board Descriptions
Public Boards

This is the left-most column on Elliquiy, or the only visible column for unapproved members. There is a PG-13 rating limit for content on these boards.

Note that no personal photographs or contact information of any kind is allowed in the public boards. Any material that violates this rule, or the PG-13 limit, is subject to editing and removal by Elliquiy staff.

Important Stuff

Rules and Announcements
This forum is where Elliquiy's staff will post important rule updates or other forum changes that occur.

• In Memoriam: Forum to honor those members of Elliquiy whom have passed on.
• Old R&A: Old rules and announcements for historical viewing pleasure.

HELP! (ask/report/suggest anything)
A place to post any questions, suggestions, or report any technical issues you might have. Any member of the site may answer these questions, from how to get a game going to more in-depth issues concerning the forums.

• Computer Problems:Have computer problems? Ask your questions here.
• Tutorials: For all tutorials that explain Elliquiy's features and functions.

Introductions
This forum is where the new members post their introductions. There is a sticky that points to the Questionnaire for prospective members. All members are encouraged to welcome the new comers with much silliness as well as get to know them.

• Introduction Archives: This forum is where all evaluated Introduction threads go.
• Held Introductions: In this forum, potential members who have been inactive or put on hold are placed.

Only blogging members may create topics here. Topics in these forums will show up as your blog entries, so post carefully : ) Anyone may feel free to comment or reply, however.

One on One / Solo Roleplays Wanted
This forum is where to look or post for a single writing partner to write in a roleplaying game on Elliquiy.

Group Roleplays Wanted
This forum is where to look or post for multiple writing partners in group games on Elliquiy.

Non-Forum Roleplay Requests
For roleplay requests on other than forums: IMs, email, etc. These requests are still governed by Elliquiy rules.

Elliquiy U
A forum for questions about science, technology, history, and other topics of an academic nature.

Politics, Religion, and Other Controversies
This forum is for discussing political climates, religion, and other controversial topics. Please do be aware of what you post and how it is phrased so that it is less likely to seem confrontational.

• Discussion of Dialogue: Here you can discuss topics in the dialogues forum even if you are not a participant.
• Dialogues: For public discussions between two people and two people alone.

Off Topic
A forum that is basically a catch all. If it is non-adult and does not fall into one of the other categories, this is where it should be posted.

Forum Games/Socializing
This forum is where much of Elliquiy's silliness is allocated. Thread games, the Salonbox, and other goodies are posted here.

Private Boards I: Members' and Community Boards

This is the middle column of Elliquiy's boards, and is visible only to approved members. These boards are geared toward allowing members of Elliquiy's community to interact with and socialize with each other, both generally as well as regarding specific topics of interest.

Art and Literature

Literary Discussion
This forum is for discussions of member's and published works, as well as other matters of interest to writers. Critique requests belong here.

Elliquiy Writers' Group
A private forum for sharing and critiquing works en route to publication, as well as discussing writing and publishing more seriously. It is visible by special request after a member has made 500 substantive posts and requires ongoing participation for continued access.

Storytelling Forum
A forum for stories, rather than role plays.

Poetry Forum
This board is for original works of poetry.

Art, Media and Music
This forum caters to those artistic abilities not covered by literature. Drawings, paintings, and songs. Not viewable by unapproved members. Work that is not your own should go in the subforum.

• Finders and Seekers: If a work is not actually yours, but you want to point it out for others to see, or are looking for a certain sort of media or artwork, do so here. : )

Forum Contests
Player and sometimes staff-run contests. Please contact a staff member if you'd like to start your own Forum Contest.

The Elliquian Herald and Post
Elliquiy's monthly newspaper, run by the community and for the community.

General Sexiness

ONs and OFFs - Lords
This is the forum where the male population posts personal preferences. This will aid in finding writing partners and finding what your specific partner may or may not enjoy.

For RP threads that have reached a full conclusion. Contact staff to have your thread moved here and tagged.

On Topic
Discussions that do not fall anywhere else in the forums but also contain some adult material, issues or topics are placed here.

Apologies and Absences
Special forum where you can make apologies to people, or post about an absence that will take you away from writing for a bit.

The Good and the Cuddly!
This is for posts of praise, support, congratulations or comments about things that make members happy.

The Bad and the Ugly!
For posts about things that annoy or upsets, on the site or about life in general. It is a venting area, though some raves may go here. Please note this category's rules.

Adult Socializing
This is where members go to socialize in an atmosphere of privacy, where content can extend past material acceptable in the public threads. Virtual physical contact is common here. Please note that any threads in this forum cannot be invitation-only or exclusive.

Ladies Only
Each gender has a board visible only to their gender. This is where Ladies can post things that they might be uncomfortable discussing in mixed company.

Lords Only
Each gender has a board visible only to their gender. This is where Lords can post things that they might be uncomfortable discussing in mixed company.

Lieges Only
Each gender has a board visible only to their gender. This is where Lieges can post things that they might be uncomfortable discussing in mixed company.

GBLTQA Corner
A board created specifically for Gay, Bisexual, Lesbian, Transgender, and Genderqueer members.   You don't have to belong to any of the aforesaid groups to post here, but do keep in mind that this is a "safe zone" to discuss issues pertaining to the GBLTQ community.

Private Boards II: Roleplaying / Play-by-Post Boards

This is the right-most column of Elliquiy's forums, also visible only to approved members. All roleplaying games take place in this column. Stories and games are separated by content (Light, Bondage, Non-Consensual, Extreme), and are then further separated between games with only one thread (solo games), games with more than one thread (small games), and group games with more than 1000 posts (big games). If any of these terms confused you, this thread explains the most common of Elliquiy's site terminology.

Elliquiy and its staff is not responsible for the material that members may read. If you are uncomfortable with the material of a certain category, please do not read threads within that category. This is further elaborated upon in our disclaimer.

One Shot Stories
One shots can be any number of things: a way to try out a fetish that you're not sure you'll like, a short roleplay that doesn't require much planning or commitment (in terms of time), or a chance to write out a scene inspired by a picture.
