Urban Legends! (A Century City side-game)
« on: August 04, 2010, 12:15:19 AM »
"Today marks the initial release of Urban Legends, the eagerly awaited new massive multiplayer virtual reality experience from Stockton-McWhood Incorporated.  Although their first efforts were hastily dismissed by critics and tech gurus as a mere showcase for their groundbreaking VR console systems six years ago, the quiet giant of tech firms has won over a sizeable following since."

"Designed in partnership with Angry Raccoon Studios and Loose Cannons Design, Ltd., Urban Legends is reported to be a very different experience than either Hundred Kingdoms or Nachtjaeger, the company's two previous games, but details have been frustratingly sparse."

This is a game within a game--a Virtual Reality Multi-User Entertainment Experience currently on the market in Century City (among other places).  It's a side-plot, cross-over thread, and additional point of amusement all in one...and is also here so that our beloved GM can be a player in someone else's sandbox.

Your characters in this thread do not have to be 'played' by your characters from Century City!  But they are certainly played by people who live in that world, so expect a few references to pop up from time to time.

PCs in Urban Legends are criminals who have been incarcerated in a huge open-air prison that resembles nothing so much as a city, given jobs, and turned loose in this peculiar society.  Will you seek to escape?  Try to earn a swift parole?  Claw your way to the top of the heap over the bodies of your foes?
