*facepalm*

And you know this serves MARADONA right. He was cocky and quoted making fun of Germany.

Wow. Germany Won. Argentina got their ass handed to them. What a humiliation!

Though the Argentina boys were hot when they were crying. Mm...  ^-^

And Germany was so damn good! Neuer is an amazing keeper! Reminds me of Oliver Kan :]]

I'm crying out of joy here.

I watched the game at my place with two pals. All over 30.

When the 3-0 was scored, we didn't even scream. We just looked at each other. Faces blank.

All of us scared to move, fearing this is just a dream we might wake up by doing something wrong.

If it is a dream, never wake me up. Never.

Germany deserved that win. They played amazing. And that goalie was on top of it!

Hahaha, best fb status:  "Don't cry for yourselves, Argentina!"

This is humiliating for Argentina, unbelievable.

Aww Ridcully, that's sweet :)

It was beautiful game, and really well played from Germany. Both really good individual performances and amazing team performance all in one.

Higuain...?

Tevez....?

Di Maria...

or...

even Messi...?

No, folks. No.

One man dominated this match. One man dominates this tournament.

Bastian Schweinsteiger, football god.

Sauber! Ohne Ehrentreffer abserviert! Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!  XD *has been screaming, jumping and running about, hugging, dancing, after every goal, and in between, fidgeting*

Sweet, so sweet.  Not even a single goal to safe them face and honour. I'm grinning all the time. Although Argentina actually played fair, even lost fair, didn't even physically attack players, trainers or assistants on their way out, I'm impressed.

A funny side-note:

In March 2010, Germany played a friendly match against Argentinia. Germany lost 0-1, and Argentinia dominated the match.

It was the first time Thomas Mueller, 20 years old, from Bayern Munich played for germany.

After the match, Mueller was called to the press conference, as well as Diego Maradona. Mueller was already sitting down, when Maradona arrived. Maradona thought Mueller was a fan - he hadn't even noticed Mueller had played before (!). He told him to leave the stage, while seating down, and complained about a fan sitting there.

Yes, Diego.
Yes.
This was the Thomas Mueller who scored the 1-0.
Yes.
The Thomas Mueller who gave the pass for the 2-0 - sitting on the ground.

*beams* Yes! For their other performances, they thoroughly deserved my merciless triumph right now. Perhaps, in their next games, if they keep it fair in future,  they'll win my respect, and the next time they lose a game, I'll actually say 'I'm sorry they lost again, so out of luck, the poor chaps.'  instead of 'He-heeeeeeeeeeeee!'...  ;D

Great to cheer with you for once, Imogen! ;)

The headline from The Sun rocks:

"Not even Klose"

:D

Klose. 14th goal at a World-Cup. 14. Yes, wayne Rooney, that's a 1 and a 4. There's forwards who actually score at the World Cup. Ask Messi...oh wait. Better don't.
