Portugal are 10 players and Ronaldo. Which is a baby and an actor... a bad one for that matter. I'm a lesbian and I don't even like Ronaldo (did that make sense to anybody?)

Anyway, you could vote for 'someone else'.

What did people honestly vote for??

I still hope Germany will win it. They play nice and fresh..

Portugal isn't just Ronaldo, not at all! In the offense, yes. But their strength is the defense - Pepe, Carvalho, Bruno Alves. That's the Best of the Best.

I voted for the Netherlands - and I am German. I'd change it to our team now, just as a big "Thank you" for the Legendary 4-1 against England.

My guess for the final will be Brazil vs. Spain though. Germany might beat Argentinia - I see both teams on an equal level. But Germany vs. Spain (possible semi-final)...it's not the same Spanish team like in 2008 anymore, they are not this dominant at this World Cup. And the German team is much better than at the Euro 2008 - yet, they are too young still. So, I fear Spain would beat them.

The Netherlands...Robben will score against Brazil. Watch for it. But Brazil is so efficient, they'll score one more.

Yes, it was a lousy performance, but for some reason...A reason who's name begins with "N", I got addicted to soccer and the English and Spanish teams... ::)  So to me, having them lose, is a travesty...

As i made my guess, I didn't know Joris "Mr. Reliable" Mathijsen wouldn't play :(

1-0 for Brazil at this point (33').

Around the 70' minute, Van Bommel will start hurting people. Did you ever watch Wrestlemania? Robinho will not watch it. He'll experience it.

If only we had that power, Ramster! i'd made a lot of prediction on behalf of a couple of 'favorites' sooner ;-)

Really missing Mathijsen tho... now waiting to see the changes Van Marwijk will make in the second half.. Elia, maybe?

All the players from "my club" (Hamburger SV - Fan here :D)

Elia, yes. But who would you take out? I wouldn't change now. 70' minute or so. I know Elia well from the HSV matches - he doesn't do defense. Not good vs. Brazil.

Btw: Van Bommel will not see the end of this match on the field. Probably one of his victims neither.

In the spirit of the W.C. - do you remember 1994? Because over here (Bulgaria) we still remember it and brag about it despite being quite the horrible team right now... or more exactly ever since then x'D

Of course I do - and who scored the 2-1? Yordan Letchkov, soccer god. And which team did he play for?

Exaaaactly. Hamburger SV.
