For Drew, the coming of his birthday was really no different then any other day in his life. He'd go to work, work from 9 - 5, eat lunch at the same place at the same time. No one would say 'Happy Birthday' or even be aware that it was his birthday. There would be no gifts, no well wishes, no birthday cards. For all that it mattered, Drew did not exist.
