no electronics at all remember they dont work on campus.. so even a cassette player or an 8 track player will not work on the grounds at hogwarts :) but fall of 82 is about right.

So far the year only in it's first few days has

Produced a freak snow storm in August

Been pranked by a gremlin

Had people searching the school for lost artifacts.

i usually like to have at least 10 players

Right now I can (with you) probably call up about 3-4

The past game slowed to a almost no posting point, we lost a few players and a few were having trouble finding places to jump in.

It would probably be a restart as it is.

I'd love to play, I'm a huge Potter fan!... problem is, I'm out of timesynch with most of E, and I don't post on weekends, so people end up waiting for me a lot.

Hogwarts is a huge place so playing with less then 10 seems a waste.

More people = more interaction.

Yeah, but Rowling seemed to manage nicely with just one view point char and two sidekicks :) The sandbox approach, while it can be fun, seems to lead to excessive random sex and people ignoring the plot.

We could do 'instead of Potter'? Alternate timeline, with one of the PCs playing the Mighty Scarred One(Harriette Potter?), or something similair. Start the party in year 4 or somesuch.

I am not an overtly strict GM...

However.

My limits have always been to have strong and reliable players, play main characters. Right now there are perhaps 3 players on Elliquiy, I'd let play Harry, Voldemort, or Dumbledore (I usually play Dumbledore as the Gm, but for the right player would pass the torch)

So what I have come up with.

A group of 16 years olds (minimum) (as per elliquiy rules) (meaning year 5 or better)

Can be during the time of Harry at Hogwarts

I will go with you and test the sandbox idea.

But i have already requested a few friends, those I trust to play Harry,Ron, and Hermione. :)

so any other canon or original character is open.

I will request a new Hogwarts Board (#3 for me)
