While #ElliquiyLounge has been up and running for quite a while now, it's lack of focus doesn't seem to work out for everyone, seeing as it's used for IC, general chat, OOC game discussion, linking 18+ stuff, script fun, and discussing stuff going on in #Elliquiy without unapproved people being able to read it.

Most of the time, when there's an RP going on, it scares the people that just want to chat, feeling like they're interrupted, while at other times, there is so much different stuff going on, that an RP simply does not work out. In a hope to get some people back into an uninterrupted RP mood, I'm trying to blow new life into #Ellounge. To join the channel, simply type the following in the chatroom:

#Ellounge is an RP channel that resembles an actual lounge room. It's luxurious, with high quality sofas and salon tables, a minibar and most stuff you could reasonably think to exist in a lounge room. There's a basement that houses a variety of toys, might one have the need for those, while sleeping quarters are up on the first and second floors.

People are encouraged to act in character while inside the room. While OOC talk related to the IC events is tolerated, please do keep it between ( ) and don't start discussions that are totally not related with what's going on.

While the lounge itself is not a fantasy location, and won't on default contain any furniture or objects of surreal nature, it does not actually bar fantasy creatures. If you like to enter as a vampire, a catgirl, or some alien creature, you are welcome to do so.

The channel itself cannot be reserved for roleplay. That is, if two people are roleplaying together, you are free to enter the room and roleplay your own character. For example, if two people are making out, you could "flop down on the couch and watch the scene" or do something else with a different person. That doesn't mean your character can instantly join in on whatever's going on. In the earlier example of two people making out, watching them is fine, but you can't just walk up to them and start groping them without their permission. Please use common sense for such matters.
