Another Thousand Nights Later

Good morning
Can you tell me what I am feeling?
Look at me
And tell me what you see

In two heartbeats
This tastes so sweet
Heaven could just taste like this

Flying like a crow, a pigeon or a dove
The name of this feeling is true love
So stay with me and we'll fly away
Like this is our very last day

All the things we want
Shouldn't hide in a 'can't'
Our dreams can become true
They just need me and you

And twelve months later
I am still daydreaming about her
My passion burns so strong
I never thought it'd last so long

In the burning cold
Of the white-covered golden sand
There is nothing in this big world
That will make me let go of your hand

Even after one thousand days
I will still love you
Those sweet shallow words that you say
Will not love me like you do

Time goes on and one thousand nights later
I will still belong to her
Who would say that our deep first day
Would come with us and make our time go away

...but your love stands still, unaffected by age.  This is very sweet.  I like your message, but your format is very creative as well.  Despite my tendency to shun rhyming poems, this one still flows so naturally that it doesn't seemed forced to rhyme - rather it rhymes because it wants to.
