blocking unwanted attentions

is there a way to block people aside from pointedly ignoring them? 

i thought i heard there was but can not seem to find the option any where.

Also, just a general note for everyone... it may not be the case here.

If something is becoming an issue that is bordering on harassment or upsetting you or anything like that - tell a staff member.

If we don't know about it - we can't do anything.
