Next day consideration... forget law enforcement... I have a library of trance/techno music, and an eclectic collection otherwise... I've supposedly got a radio voice... DJing, that's the ticket..

Xerial, when you mention having a library of music, are you talking about in-game, as in sound bits inside the game and such, or in real life, as in you've got a ton of MP3s?

I ask because the game sounds hella interesting, and being an old MMORPG freak, I'm thinking of checking it out, but I'm just wondering how much the line between in-game and reality is blurred.

Mwahahahah, maybe I can be a Spanish radio DJ...I'll bring Reggaeton to the internet!   Daddy Yankee, baby!

He's probably talking real life. SL makes it quite easy to stream music to the game for those who are in the area to listen too. While you can bring small sound clips into the game to make funny noises and what not, whole songs is a little too much for the game to handle I think.

I'd definetly reccomend trying it out. I used to be addicted to World of Warcraft, but this has stolen my obsession.

I've seen quite a few of full songs, but, having to put everything in nine second bits then stream them all together in a sequence via dance emote or a sequence auto-play device... it can get a little time [and money] consuming.

I'm going for the streaming option, myself... I'm too hella ass broke in game to consider uploading that much...  ;D

Tell me about it. I just recently bought myself all the necessary bits and pieces too. Haven't had a chance to break them in either :)

Bleh, my connection sucks too much atm to do anything.  I tried to leave the newb island, but couldn't even walk around the new area.  I'd really like to find some "common" area, like a town or something.  Anyway, any tips would be cool, though I'm fine controlwise.

what I would do is open up the find tab and look at the differents events that are planned. these are great ways to see the sights and start getting to know people. also a lot of them have chairs or dance pads where spending time on them will earn you some free lindens(cash) which will come in handy when your ready to start buying some clothes, hair etc...

I'm trying to market myself as a discount male escort, but it seems not to be working too well...  ;D

I'm thinking of just switching to a female model and being a hooker.  I got a good amount of free stuff on my female NE Druid on WoW, so I figure it would have to rake in in a game like this.

Male Escorts are rare. Only a few men [normal, non-fur] have succeeded. Acting more like Courteseans then actual Escorts. Weaving exotic and erotic tales.

There are two types of clients, those who just use animations, sexual objects with minimal usage of actual text and those who want you to be in fact like a Courtesean.

When I was in the Courtesean work on Second Life, I found out those wanting an erotic tale pay a hell of a lot more and more by the hour.

One client I ended up with 4K and we only did a two hour session.

By Courtesan, you mean pretty much what we do on Elliquiy already?

I could see that being more interesting and valuable than the gestures and visuals.  I can't imagine virtual, visual, simulated sex to be that stimulating after the "shock" value wears off.

Animated 3d penises.
Click, select an option.
Some even play sounds.

I had wide eyes when i saw them first, now i guess it's a matter of preference. I can certainly assist in courteasanship. I got praise for being 'good, fantastic, a blast' from every single person i roleplayed. Men, women, furries, doms, subs...

Ulrika is your mistress of allure.

lol, I still can't figure that game out...so far, I know how to sit in one of those little chairs for hours upon hours and earn like $20...

The courtesanship is basically what I jokingly offer... after all, seeing a few badly fitting animated parts bang into (and sometimes through) eachother isn't exactly arousing... I make decent enough tips on my second character (read: exotic dancing gal), but sadly the gals who just whip off the top and don't talk seem to do fantastic...

It's all about interaction, that's what should come with any decent escort... it's not the sex, it's the experience...

But I think I'll stick to trying to get my script working, and charge L$4k a pop for that...

Nothing: A lot of it is experimentation, and if you can sit on the chair, you've won half the battle... places like The Shelter should have people who can help with the rest, or just any friendly soul, really...

Simply put those who rely too much on animations and such are simply those seeking to watch something to get off quick to.

Hms. I actually tried this out long enough to create a character and fiddle with the buttons. Looks interesting, but awfully, awfully complicated to figure out, yowie. Especially for one who can't draw. *ponder*

But it's more scripting and animation than rp? Hrm.
