Petition for the Public Option
« on: February 22, 2010, 07:35:53 PM »
Hi, everyone.... Everyone in America is debating about the health care bill. I wanted to let everyone know that there is a petition to save the public option. If anyone wants to sign it, here's the link:

http://www.savethepublicoption.com/

For those of you who don't know what this means, it's the single-payer option. That means that the government would pick up the tab for our medical care.

If anyone wants to sign it, just follow the link above.

Thanks, guys!

Y'see, as a Britishfolk, I don't understand the furore surrounding this bill. We've had a perfectly fine NHS for getting on 70 years now, and I can honestly say that despite everything said about it, it's a great thing. Then again, I'm on the European left, which would make me a communist by American standards...So that explains a lot.
