Suggestions to bring over songs from iPhone to iTunes

So, my home computer blew up mid-November and I got a new one around Christmastime.  I'm just getting around to setting it up with all my programs, games etc.  My dilemma, however, is that I never backed up iTunes so, while I can get all my purchased songs to transfer to a new install of iTunes, I'm screwed with regard to the CD's that I've ripped to it previously. I've looked at a few programs that are supposed to do this(TuneAid, iPod PC Transfer) but I'd rather use something that someone's had experience with.  I'm on 64-bit Windows 7 now, incidentally.
