Female wanted for an adventure romance

So the basic plot is that on the night of the big school play a horde of demons break in and try to kidnap the leading lady. In the audience luckily is her classmate who happens to be...a) a wizard, b) a demi-god, c) a rogue demon. or d) any supernatural badass who tickles your fancy.

After smashing some demon heads the two embark on a quest into the shadowy world of magic hidden in plain sight to find out who wants this girl and why.
