Hogwarts: The Future

The Plot
After the battle at Hogwarts, Britain’s school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the doors were reopened to students, staff and creatures who had since wandered away from the center of the turmoil that had taken place years ago. With war hero Hermione Granger, the youngest Headmistress in the school’s history, in charge, the wizarding world of Britain hopes to reclaim its former glory, forgetting its dark past.
Everything seems well, a Golden Age, and yet an undercurrent is rising in the shattered wizarding government. Outside the school grounds, sympathizers of the old Voldemort Regime are noticing their opportunities to restore power and authority. Inside, the older selection of students are unsettled as well. Alliances and rivalries are formed as political beliefs are tested as a new generation readies itself to take the reins of the rebuilt world.

Your Character
You may play either a professor or a student. The professors may interact sexually with the students who are seventeen or older. Sixteen year olds have to wait to have an affair with the professor. With the new opening of Hogwarts, the age of entrance has been altered. First years are admitted when they are twelve instead of eleven so characters can be created in fifth, sixth or seventh year in order to provide a variety of ages to choose from and to allow for more mature students. When applying and playing a teacher no difference than if you played a student. Classes are not, as of yet, run formally.

Spells
   Of course you will be wondering what spells you may cast. The small spells will not be too structured but the more advanced ones, such as occlumency, will be restricted to those who have applied for the class in their character profile. a.   Seventh years with recommendation from the teacher may begin training for Dumbledor’s Army, a sect of magical defense founded by Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger that focuses on more advanced defense and very often leads to a successful career as an Auror.

9.   Muggle Studies/History of Magic
Seventh years must choose either occlumency or animagus studies. DA classes are very selective but may be paired with either.

Teaching positions may be claimed as may the four Heads of Houses which will not be restricted to canon (Potions being for Slytherin, etc.) I will be listing every teaching position that is taken. Minister of Magic is also up for grabs, though you need to ask permission to claim that.

Personality/Physical Description: Professor Sterling is one of the professors that almost everyone likes. His classes are usually lighthearted and fun, and he often has at least a few students visiting with him in his office throughout the day. Still only a few years older than most Hogwarts 7th years, girls often seem to swoon for him, especially when he's seen playing Quidditch with students or hanging out at Hogsmeade. Many of the older professors don't like him because they see him as being too laid back and carefree.

The Sorting Hat has placed Daisy Snownew in Ravenclaw. A notification has been sent to her via owl as well as a list of school supplies, etc.

Klaus Grindelwald has been placed in Hufflepuff. The standard notification has been sent as well as a special notice.

The original post for the Plot has had a special addendum added but for clarification, any relation to a canon character must be cleared.

The Defense Against the Dark Arts position has been filled (hopefully without any mishaps!) by none other than Mr. Harry Potter.

Personality/Physical Description: With long brown hair that has an annoying tendancy to return to its original bushiness, she tends to hide the attractiveness that found her in her later years behind books and papers. Bossy, stubborn, and at times close-minded, she is a very serious person most of the time, casting herself as the overstrict teacher, a stigma that belies her true passions, loyalty, and dedication. She has a hidden soft spot for the rebels of the school, seeing much of herself and her friends in them.

Significant History, Family or Otherwise:After 7Th book.  Harry spent a few years as an auror which turned out to be less interesting then he would of thought, once they found out he was coming they turned over their wands most of the time.  Due to this fact he is a little rusty at his Defensive spells.  The only person in the world that could of made him become a teacher did.  Hermione Granger, Harry's bestfriend through all his younger years came calling and asked him to take up the spot of teacher at Hogwarts.  Harry gave it a great deal of thought, and with a push from Jenny decided it would be best.
