Dreamscapes (Multi-Player version)
« on: October 06, 2009, 03:17:52 am »
Ok.. after shamelessly stealing the Professor's Loki Caprion's idea here I am looking for partners to create vignettes in the Dreamscapes thread (follow the link to get all the information)

Quoting from the main thread: The purpose of all that is to  create a compilation, of tales involving this strange Antiquities shop and his Shopkeeper, a smiling and mysterious guy who goes by the name of Mr. Drake. Unlike some similar threads, the Dreamscapes shop is not so much a "social gathering" point as it is a chance to play out vignettes with the Shopkeeper, or one of the strange and mysterious pieces of antiquities he sells.

So if you are up for a story with something of a 'Twilight Zone' (and shame on you if you don't know about that TV series) feel, not necessarily sex-oriented although it can obviously be done.. well pray contact me!

Threads can be one or multi-playered.. I am not putting limits into this. Everything can be done..

..In the Twilight Zone.

Aurora Jenkins

Aurora is a well known actress who comes from a family well known to Hollywood. Although their acting career's have been more fantastical than most, it was more due to their families beauty than actual acting expertise and all knew it, still strong connections let them more or less let them keep their station as a Hollywood favorite.

Like many in hollywood reality became more a selection of whatever boutique exclusivity they found themselves in and it didn't take long for some of the members to perk the interest of secret societies. One of which that approached the Jenkins generations ago termed themselves simply "The keepers".

On the surface the keepers stood for what the Jenkin family though was good, preserving and funding art, the formation of time capsules ... and contributing to welfare in aspects which were fashionable at the time.

But its own spiritual beliefs followed soon enough and a cult it soon became, still with principals innocent enough, until the leader became one where power was more interesting than the societies forming principals.

Over the course of ten years "Madam Eazah" directed the cult's motives away from aiding culture and instead edged it towards control over it. Due to its influence she believed that Hollywood was the center of this aspiration and the control of those most were fascinated by quickly became her obsession. The problem she faced however was that many of the actors and actresses had already afflicted themselves with other societies or literally had ego's so large they were more interested in the pop culture that surrounded themselves.

Her frustration of this issue was something all the members had grown used to but what came as a shock to them all was what happened two weeks ago.
Out of no-where Madam Eazah perished incidentally in a car accident, her trusted confident, her second and protege however was ... Aurora.

Being trusted into the society's lead position was completely unexpected and during the most recent secretive meeting Aurora pleaded with the others to led the mantle for to another ... all refused and insisted that Aurora would break the grip Scientology had on Hollywood if only she tried.

When Aurora realized her refusals were being unheeded she reluctantly agreed to those numerous powerful eyes glaring into her soul.

The new direction and methods of "The keepers" needed something new, fresh and solid to work from.  While lost for its inspiration Mss Jenkins entered the a very strange shop.
