  Which Fantasy/SciFi Character Are You?

I'll start.

Aragorn

Putting your appointed path ahead of any inner conflicts, you make your own rules for the benefit of all.

If my life or death I can protect you, I will.

Aragorn is a character in the Middle-Earth universe. There is a description of him at TheOneRing.net.

*stares* I'm him? Damn...

Inkidu

With the prowess of a seasoned samurai and the wisdom of a wizard, you try to do the sort of things that root out evil.

The Force can have a strong influence on the weak-minded.

Obi-Wan is a character in the Star Wars universe. The Star Wars Databank has his profile.
If you're searching the lines for a point, well you've probably missed it; there was never anything there in the first place.

Nimmy

A somber tactician who keeps emotional flares in check, you bravely refuse to back down when fighting for matters of honor.

Perhaps today is a good day to die!

Worf is a character in the Star Trek universe. His biography is available at STARTREK.COM

I love Worf!!!!

QuoteGaladriel

Possessing a rare combination of wisdom and humility, while serenely dominating your environment you selflessly use your powers to care for others.

Even the smallest person can change the course of the future.

Galadriel is a character in the Middle-Earth universe. You can read more about her at the Galadriel Worshippers Army.

Pfft :P  If that's the case, I'm sending Galadriel a whole pallet of Pepto-Bismol.

Why am I the green midget?

Yoda

A venerated sage with vast power and knowledge, you gently guide forces around you while serving as a champion of the light.

Judge me by my size, do you? And well you should not - for my ally is the Force. And a powerful ally it is. Life creates it, makes it grow. Its energy surrounds us, and binds us. Luminescent beings are we, not this crude matter! You must feel the Force around you, everywhere.

Misery

Interesting!

A stern yet benevolent organizer who often knows best, your wits are keenly fixed on aiding efforts you deem worthy.

Now at this last we must take a hard road, a road unforseen. There lies our hope, if hope it be. To walk into peril to Mordor.

Elrond is a character in the Middle-Earth universe. TheOneRing.net has a short biography.

Brandon

Interesting I got a character that I cant stand, Im James T. Kirk!

An impassioned commander with more respect for individuals than for authority, you have a no-holds-barred approach to life and its obstacles.

I don't believe in the no-win scenario.

A wandering spirit caring for a multitude of just concerns, you are an instrumental power in many of the causes around you.

And so am I, very dangerous: more dangerous than anything you will ever meet, unless you are brought alive before the seat of the Dark Lord.

Gandalf is a character from the Middle-Earth universe. TheOneRing.net has a description of him.

Doomsday

With good intentions but misunderstood motives, you are a hardy, if somewhat unreliable, companion.

Severus Snape

An enigmatic recluse with a mysterious past and even stranger loyalties, you are an intensely serious presence.

I don't expect you will really understand the beauty of the softly simmering cauldron with its shimmering fumes, the delicate power of liquids that creep through human veins, bewitching the mind, ensnaring the senses...

Snape is a character in the Harry Potter series.

With a coolly measured demeanor and adaptive thinking, you enforce your will on others using your multitude of abilities.

Do you hear that, Mister Anderson? That is the sound of inevitability.

Unknown?  actually, he's a fairly major character in ST:NG - and the red shirt had lost its fatal curse by then.  (Mind you, his brilliance and occasional disregard for the rules made for such fan jokes as 'Ensign Crusher, report to the airlock!'  ;D)

A controlled personality with a vast range of skills and behavior, you are often intrigued by the people and places surrounding you.

In the strictest sense, I did not win -- I busted him up.

Data is a character in the Star Trek universe. A biography is at STARTREK.COM.

I like the questions on that survey.  They were a few that I actually thought over carefully, especially the jury-bribe question.  But it seems like the range of fantasy/science fiction characters is very sadly limited to Star Wars/Trek, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Babylon 5, with the oddball here and there.  Not that these aren't grand examples of the sci-fi fantasy tradition, but no Dune, no Thomas Covenant for us hardcore skeptics, no Kvoth or Elric or Corwin or Kelsier?

Oniya

I'd hate to see the set of answers that gave Elric as the result...   :o

Only sad in that the series ended so soon.  Kosh was second only to Marcus in my opinion.  :-)

A good series, for the most part, but I have to say that the fifth season was so much weaker than the previous four.  The unresolved plots, conflicts that were lesser in scope than what had gone before, and less interesting character development made for a very disappointing conclusion.

Yes, I know that fears that the show would be canceled led JMS to wrap up his major plotlines in season four.  It's still a letdown to me.  Like a scrumptious four course meal of exotic delicacies being concluded with a single marshmallow for desert.  It's still an okay marshmallow, but less than I'd come to expect based on previous experience.
