Bound by the Great Goddess, four sisters serve a power greater then the world can know, and yet they are so often apart; for each is given a part of the world to guard against evil, to protect the purity of the elementals. These sisters are known as the Guardians, not only female, but warriors and mages, but true immortals, all chosen from the spirits of ancient souls to be woven into the undeminishing spark of the Elements, all sworn to serve the Goddess. And to protect the treasures of the lesser gods and deities. The treasures that will call to many a man and woman…..
The Asavari, Hunt of the Spirit, has been called. And so those who would prove themselves seek the hidden places where these sisters with their scared temples and treasures hide.
Beautiful water, she is the embodiment of the water that gives birth to the world, that cradles humans within the womb, the water that purifies our world, that cleanses away the past. Fluid, adaptable, ever changing, yet soft and flowing. She is one of the four Guardians, with her pale ice blue eyes, hair the pale color of seafoam in the sunlight and skin alabaster in perfection with a faint blue tint to the shadows of her body when she moves. She moves with all the grace of the waves, serene and at peace, until something disrupts the world around her, her powers are like a tidal wave then, merciless and unstoppable. Her temple home is a sprawling island guarded by mystical creatures of the water and the weather responding to her whims, those who have sought her both have often lost their lives to the sirens or the shipwrecks of the relentless storms.….
Born of the fire, she is the living Flame. It is she who births passion, who consumes, purifies through flame just as water does through rain. Only hers is a harsher purification, burning away all that there was before until there is only the barest of realities. Her heat is more then a mortal can easily bare, as one of the four Guardians she shows it with her hair the vivid color of dancing flames, intermingled scarlet with deeper red and hints of golden orange; skin the color of tawny bronze and eyes of liquid gold she rules firm over one of the least controllable elements. Her temple is in the middle of a vast desert, untraceable, and many have died simply of natural causes in their attempt to find her, and those who made if farther found out just how violent and protective fire can be….
Path of the wind, all that is said, all that is seen, comes back to her, the ever changing winds surround her, love her and shelter her. Air is a paradox, for it is powerful, yet invisible, never contained but harnessed. She is a elusive as her element, with hair the color of sunlight, pale, glorious gold, and eyes of ever chaning quick silver, her skin the pale color of the first rays of dawn. Her power is great and terrible. It can be soft enough to tickle the flesh of a new born babe, or harsh enough to destroy whole countries. She may know anything, of anyone and uses it well to guard her home, lost within the highest mountains known to man, a hidden paradise in freezing temperatures. Few have ever come close to her temple, for to climb the mountains one must breath and the very air itself answers to her call along with all beasts of flight, including a few dragons…..
The mother of all, the nourisher, Earth shelters and gives life to all that is around us. And also it destroys, it takes, it shelters the bodies of the dead and gives forth the food that lets humans live. She is the last of the Guardians, and the oldest. Her hair is the rich thick color chestnuts, with eyes the deep green of moss and skin of dusky olive, her powers quake through the word, reaching far and upon a whim she could open the very earth itself upon those who trespass near her temple. Her home is hidden within the earth itself, treacherous mountain passes and caves, hot lava, many obstacles to get to the hollow mountain that holds her haven. Of course, the earth made traps don’t mean trolls and other creatures of the earth do not protect what is hers to guard….
Heroes must travel to each, and reach all four to win this Hunt, but will any make it through reaching one of them alive let alone all four?
*Yes I already have a idea thread, but this one is very different and more complicated then my other ideas.
*Okay, so the basic idea of this thread would be to actually have a succession of threads. I’m looking for a partner that is really in it for the long haul. And in to playing more then one character. I will be playing the four girls and the Goddess to some extent. There should be at least four heroes, and each of the Guardians will have a time to shine in the story before its all pulled together. Four stories in one…and perhaps even five…so yes, lots of plotting to do. PM me please for more details/discussion and post here to let me know you are interested. I would rather have a long standing member apply for this one, but newer ones may apply if you swear you have no intention or thoughts of vanishing.
*I might be open to having this be a small group game, but I mean only four people max, including me. Another girl and two guys, but I would prefer a one on one.
*This draws a little from the idea of a man having to find and bring back things from the Fountain of Youth and the Tree of Life in fairytales, only with a different sort of spin. There could be many reasons for the heroes to be doing what they are, could be trying to win a Kingdom, perhaps that's the reason the Hunt was called, or to become the Goddesses Champion. Again, possibilities are endless.
