Question about IRC IMs
« on: August 07, 2009, 02:32:10 PM »
Is it possible for me as an end-user to restrict people who are unvoiced from private-messaging me?  It's the sort of thing I feel a little awkward about, personally.

The ignore button is your only option there, I believe.

I'm pretty sure that if you're using mIRC or another IRC program, you can include scripts that reply to IMs from unvoiced people with a default message and close the window.

I don't have one though, you'd have to search for yourself (and no guarantee it exists, but I would think it does)

If you use mIRC, try here.

Otherwise, as mentioned, a Google search, or you could try searching through www.mircscripts.org and www.hawkee.com :)
