How do you get that toolbar across the top? Is that a Vista thing? *wants it*

It's either for Vista or for Windows XP.

I don't know about GT, Tri, but I think Akiko certainly uses a program called "Rocket Dock."

Used it before and it was certainly safe with XP, don't know how it works under Vista, but it's worth trying. :)

Well... Win7 have a feature that switches the background already implemented in the OS, so I have a new desktop every 15 minutes, but... well.

Yup!

http://rocketdock.com/download for Rocket Dock.

Under XP Media Center 2005 SP3, I've had no issues whatsoever with the application. It comes with a ton of 'skins' so you can change its appearance to suit your desktop's style/theme.

If this thread taught me anything, it's that I'm not alone dealing with Fucking Vista.

Thankfully, netbooks run either XP or Linux, so I didn't have to go through the paradox of paying to downgrade.

Just picked up a fun 'theme' app called My Colors, by Stardock. Tis useful for making a nice desktop theme, and provides a few useful widgets that don't come with XP(the clock/weather in the upper right corner).

Edit: Only part about this that annoys me is that Photosucket requires that images be downsized to maximum 1024x768. I run in a mix of 1600x1200(gaming) and 2400x1600.

So I have to resize things for this thread, just so I can host the image on Photosucket. >.<
