I'm just advertising. :-) Especially since I have a hand in the behind-the-scenes portions!

Yes, Caeli is helping to keep me organized and mostly sane... and believe me, that's no easy task!

*sigh*  I used to be able to recognize every such card at a glance across a crowded table.  Now I don't know any of them anymore.  I feel old.  Heh.

So apparently, posting first is likely to get you the most captain votes, as well as the most lynch votes.  *grins and ponders*

If you played in the early days chances are you seen him on cards, this is a good history with a few portraits of cards he has been in.

Hrm.  No, I think he's still too recent for me -- he's from Weatherlight, looks like?  I haven't bought cards or played regularly since Ice Age.  Those pictures aren't ringing any bells.

I'm old school.  *carefully pets her black border alphas*

*eyes this thread and is pleasantly amused and intrigued*

Always did love TPB's ship.

Now I'll have to keep an eye on this story.

Well, all lurkers are welcome, of course.  :)

Here's another appropriate picture from the Magic vault:

Do they still print these?

I may not be around a whole lot in the next couple of days. I'm weening off of my nicotine gum, so I expect to be more "down and out" then "up and alert". I'll try to stay abreast of the game though, and will try to get my votes in on a timely manner.

Oh, and I'm a pirate. Here's my avatar:

Go, Stattick!   Arrr!  ;D

*settles down for a complete geek-out, with Magic cards, comics, and GURPS books*  And yes, I do get stared at when I'm in the local game store.  Heh.

Okay, since LadySky seems to have won by a landslide (whether she wanted to or not ;)), I'll wait just a bit on the last vote, and then move things ahead.  Just another hour or two.

Fun Pirate Fact!  The Jolly Roger, aka the skull and crossbones, wasn't flown by pirate vessels nearly as much as old movies would have you believe; but there's some evidence that it was used.  More terrifying than that, though, was the red flag, sometimes used by pirates or other vessels to indicate that no quarter would be given in battle.

I vote we make a red flag from our new incumbent Captain's underthings! :D

*removes said underthings and hands them to Bliss with a cheeky grin*

"I fear we shall have to gather the underthings of all aboard in order to make one flag!"
