I really love the character Amber Sweet. If I didn't already have a bunch of threads already, I would love to play her somewhere.

You've seen the movie, right? If not, I suspect you'd like it - it appealed to my sense of humor and yours is as twisted as mine. ;)

I agree.  Her vote wont sway the outcome either way.

Okay.  According to the original rules posted way back when, the game should really be over at this point.  The game was first set up so that a single mutineer couldn't win.  If everyone would like to stick with that, then the game is over and everyone's roles will be revealed.

However, I'm now thinking that rule isn't necessarily required... and in this case, where I believe there's no clear suspect for the third mutineer, it might be interesting to continue playing things out a little longer.

What say you all?  End now, with the pirates victorious, or let the game continue another round or two?

In any case, given enough interest, I will start up another pirate-themed version, most likely, so the Fancy (or some sister ship) will sail again.  :)

My vote would have been to keep it going to see how many people a mutineer could have killed, before being caught. Which is what I would have done in the mobster game if it wasn't for Josie investigating me!

The game can stalemate out with only one mutineer and one pirate left alive.  While I don't think it'll come to that, I'm interested in playing out the rest of the game.

*After shivering for days on the gangplank in her skivvies, she splashes down the long, slippery slide to Davy Jonesí locker* Wheee!  Letís do that again!

*Joins fellow mutineer Stattick, and tries to appease victims by handing out margaritas*  Now we can have a little party while we watch the show on deck!  *margarita in hand, she lounges in a bikini on a big fat rubber inner tube on the seaís swells*

And I vote to continue the game, though I be dead. :P

In case there's anyone over here who didn't see this post over there in Salem:

Okay.  So we have Traitors, seeking to assassinate Rome's beloved Emperor.  An Oracle, who can peer into the hearts of others and learn their true nature.  A Praetorian Guard, who can shield one person from said Traitors.  And the Citizens, trying valiantly to stop the plot and save the Caesar!

Save the Caesar, save the world.

*ahem*  Anyway, if that sounds good to everyone, I can start throwing that together -- though this one I may hold off on until Maeven and Caeli are more able to join in.

I sifted through my old requests and found someone who had asked to join in next time the pirates sailed -- is there anyone who would be up for that in the meantime?
