The music was suddenly louder for an instant, followed by the sound of the dor getting slammed. Craig must had left his room.

OOC: Well leaving likely will cut the plot shorter than staying.

(I'll have her stay then)

She jumped when the door slammed shut and knew he was leaving his room. She looked back at the bear and sighed.

The bear doesn't react to the sigh, but the storm outside intensified. She could hear Craig cursing on the ground floor, then shouting "Sis, where did you hide dry candles?"

It had been so long she last heard her brother called her sis. Maybe he realized what he was doing hurt. "Why do you need candles?"

"That's none of your business. I just need them!" She remembered that he had had a lot of - now soaked - candles on the floor of his room.

"Well maybe I will tell you if you tell me why." She said not wanting him to do what he did before.

He stared at her, started to sa ysomething, then stopped. "Why do you care what I do with stupid candles? I don't ask what you do with your Teddy Bear!"

She gripped the teddy bear that he gave her and sighed. "I'm not going to tell you anything anymore. You have just been so rude to me."

Craig looked away and cursed again, under his breath, before tearing through the supply closet. Outside the storm is raging still, and rain is splattering against the windows.

She started shivering from the storm outside. "I hate storms." She whispered loud enough for him to hear it and got under the covers.

Craig did not react to her words, instead he searched for fresh candles for several minutes until he gave up. She could hear him return to his room, then go to thekitchen and stay there.

This was just to much he used to care for her and hug her when there was a storm going on but not now. "Craig can you please come stay with me?" Her voice quivered.

"I am busy, damn it. This is more important than your angst." Craig's voice sounds a bit shrill, even counting the distance to the kitchen. "Go crawl in bed."

She was in bed the pain filtered through her again as he said no to coming to her. Laying down she wrapped her arms around her pregnant belly.

After a while she heard steps - and cursing - coming up the stairs, then the door to Craig's room closed with a thud. The music soon started to grow louder and louder, and she could almost feel it with her solar plexus as soft vibrations. The storm grew in intensity, thunder rolling almost continously over the house. Between that and the wind she couldn't hear much, but then she caught fragments of Craig's voice, sounding like he was chanting, or screaming.

Suddenly the music stopped, and what lights were in the house went out - power was out. And a scream she had never heard before came from her brother's room, followed by loud crashing noises.

"Make it stop." She cried out covering her ears with her hands not liking the noise. The storm was just growing and she did not like it at all. When the lights went out she looked up wondering what happened. Then she heard the loud scream and crash then ran to her brother's room again. "Craig what's going on?" She banged on the door.

No reply. As before she just heard wind and rain - and thunder. And the door was locked from the inside.

She pulled at the door and banged on it again. "Open the door." She screamed.

The door didn't budge, and no one opened. No word from Craig either. She thought she might have heard a groan, but that was hard to tell with the noise from the storm. Power was still out and the house was dark, almost utterly without light. Even after growing up in the house it'd be hard to navigate.

There was something wrong and she ran back into her room almost colliding with the door frame. She rumaged through her things and found a hair clip then went back to the door. She fiddled with the hair clip and managed to get the door unlocked. This time she didn't care about the window and ran over to him. "Craig."

The rain hit her in the face as soon as she opened the door. Craig lies in the middle of his ruined room - desk, bed, all furniture was wet and partially thrown around. Craig was unconscious again, and bleeding from a gash in his forehead. Candles were spread all ove the furniture and floor, and stains on the wall show they were thrown.

"Craig?" He called out again and went to the bathroom to get a towel. She came back and then put the towel on the gash and felt his neck for any signs of a pulse. She was really worried now.

"The music failed... all was working, then the music failed... why?" Craig was almost inaudible, his voice very weak.

He seemed to be not making sense. "Shh just rest." She said quietly.

"N-no. Why did the music fail? Did you do that? Did you?" he turned to look at her, and his pupils were very wide, and he seemed to have trouble focusing. His hands gripped her biceps, almost painfully hard.
