[Starfox]

"I do have a PROBLEM NOW." Craig was sounding shrill. "Why do you like it in the dark? What are you hiding?" He was bent down now, staring in her face from close up. He smelled too - sweat mostly, and some strange incense.

[darkvamplips]

She moved her face away from his when he leaned down. "Nothing have you totally lost it? The power will come back on as soon as they can fix it." She took a deep breath.

[Starfox]

"You're not doing anything! Not even calling the power company! You like that, huh?" Craig came closer, his breath reaching her while he panted.

[darkvamplips]

"The power company is going to tell me to wait it out. They will fix it soon enough. What's wrong?"

[Starfox]

"What's wrong? What's wrong? I am telling you what's wrong: This darkness is wrong!" Craig was almost shouting, but then dropped his voice to a whisper. "The darkness is evil... evil. It creeps into you, slowly. Only light can dispell it." He was still panting.

[darkvamplips]

At least he wasn't yelling or threatening to hurt her anymore. "Look I'll get you a glass of water you sit down and try to relax ok?" Was this him saying he was scared of the dark now?

[Starfox]

"Try to relax? In the dark? Do you want me to let my guard down? Is that your plan?" Craig was still whispering, but his flashlight was wavering, his hands had to be trembling.

Slowly she got up and went to the kitchen to get him a glass of water. A few moments later she came back and handed it to him. "Just take a few sips."

[Starfox]

Craig looked at the glass, even sniffed the liquid, and still hesitated, inspecting it with his lamp before taking a careful sip. "Why are you so comfortable in this darkness? What is your secret?"

[darkvamplips]

Did he think she was going to poison him or something? She looked confused when he checked it. "Because I have nothing to fear in the darkness." She said as she sat down again.

[Starfox]

Craig jerked, spilling water on the floor and himself. "What? Everyone has to be afraid of the dark. Why would you have nothing to fear?" His flashlight wavered again, an he started to walk around agitatedly, talking half to himself. "Only the evil people are at home in the darkness... only the dark themselves..."

[darkvamplips]

When he jerked she moved away suddenly feeling scared of him. This was too much she was abused by the closest thing in her life. Her twin brother. Now she was watching him pace back and forth throughout the room.

[Starfox]

"Why aren't you scared? Did you make  deal? Did they offer you the same deal as they did offer to me?" He was staring at her with wild eyes. "Did you take the deal?"

[darkvamplips]

"How can I answer that question when I don't even know what you are talking about?" She was getting rather fed up of this and annoyed.

[Starfox]

"Did the shadows promise you salvation of you made a sacrifice? Did they?"

[darkvamplips]

"No and you have gone insane." She said getting up and going back to her room.

[Starfox]

"Insane? Me? Is that your plan? Paint me as crazy so you can save yourself?" Craig followed her, stumbling into a chair in the darkness, and cursing in a language she didn't recognize.

"Until you are going to explain why you are like this don't come near me. You are scaring me and I don't like it." She hurried upstairs and went in her room remembering he had broke the door down.

[Starfox]

"Ah? I am scaring you? Do you have a reason to be scared of me? Some guilty conscience, perhaps?" He almost yelled the last three words, and stood in the door of her room, glaring at her - at least she assumed so, since the lights were still out and his flashlight blinded her.

[darkvamplips]

"You have never hurt me and you did. I actually don't want to be around you because of it." She laid down on her bed again and closed her eyes. Please go away.

[Starfox]

Craig didn't go away. Instead he walked upo to the bed, and poked her. "Oh, me go away? Into the dark? That's what you'd like to, right? Having me disappear... I won't do you that favor, Sis." The "sis" was lined with venom. "No... why don't you go away? Disappear?" He shook her at the shoulders, roughly. "Answer me!"

[darkvamplips]

"Craig stop it I mean it. If you don't stop I'm going to call the cops on you." She was being shaken and she was worried about the baby. At least she had a cell phone because the power was out.

[Starfox]

"Oh, no, you will not call the cops, lie about me, and then have me shot. You will not!" Craig was shouting, then looked around wildly. She suddenly realized he was looking for the cell phone.

[darkvamplips]

"They will not shoot you but you are out of control. Just go to bed but if you are scared you can stay here with me. Just stop hurting me." The phone was some where he would never think.

[Starfox]

Craig seemed to ignore as he started to tear through her room, pulling out drawers, throwing out clothes, apparently seeking her cell phone. When he did not find it he turned to her. "Where is it? Where is IT?"
