I don't play Dragon Age on hard. I only played Origins on casual. But I had the console version so tactics out the window. Two I play on normal but I've had to bump it down to casual mid fight for some really cheap ones.
It would be easier if the AI wasn't occasionally extremely dumb, but ... I don't know if it's my stats or equipment or whatever, but enemies are really, really weak. With the exception of some cheap fights.
Anyway, just did some more quests, and ... well, this game reminds me of Fable 2. Not just because it takes place over a long period of time, but how the story is centered around a character, rather than all the events he's involved in. I approve. I approve very much.
Edit: Beautiful. I've been waiting for the last few companions to appear, with no luck. I assumed this was just because the story hadn't advanced far enough. I finally looked it up, and ... nope, that's not it. Guess it's time to restart. Oh, well, I've only been playing for 17 hours, it's no big deal.
Well, on the bright side, I actually want to play a mage, so it's not that big of a loss. Or, well ... I'm still upset.
